4 stars mostly for their food, their burger was delicious and the lobster Mac n cheese was on point. I will saw my bun was soggy and started to fall apart, but had good flavor. Their drinks were good, wouldn't say the best buy still had good flavor. Paid about 108 for everything, but it was worth it. Staff was very friendly so that's also a plus for me.

We really liked the shakshouka, especially paired with the sour dough. I thought the tortilla de patata was fine - I enjoyed it, but it could have used more flavor / "brava" sauce. Service was attentive and helpful with recommendations. I'd love to go back when the weather cools down and enjoy the beautiful outdoor seating area.

Our waiter, Andrew, spoke proudly about the impressive restaurants he had previously worked at -- I believe I even heard Nobu mentioned -- which raised our expectations for attentive hospitality. Sadly, that level of experience never really made its way to our table. Simple things like refilling waters, checking in, or asking if we'd like another cocktail never happened after our initial interaction. It genuinely felt like we were forgotten for most of the evening, which was disappointing considering the caliber of restaurant this aims to be. Thankfully, the food itself helped redeem the experience, and the rest of the staff we encountered were warm and pleasant. Because of that, we're willing to give it another try tomorrow and are hopeful for a better overall experience next time.

It was literally falling off the bone with barely a tap of my fork. It was so meaty and tender.. not dry! I do have one little gripe because I really loved their cornbread w honey butter.. I couldn't get another one!! They only make a small batch and they don't last till the end of the day so you can't order extra. Made me really sad . Was gonna skip dessert but then realized if the cornbread was that good how can the peach cobbler not be awesome. Sure enough.. I was definitely right!! It was not super sweet even w the vanilla ice cream. I'll probably ask for another scoop of ice cream if they let me. Small mom and pop shop but definitely worth it. Very Americana vibes with lots of patriotic decor. Not mad at it at all.. besides what's a good ribs and steak without USA!!

I am not usually a fan of ribs but as other reviewers have stated these are fall off the bone and full of good flavor. Hands down best pork ribs I'd ever had. The bbq sauce was good, not overpowering. The beef ribs were tender and the chicken was great. No complaints whatsoever about dinner. It was enough to feed me for two nights! I didn't love the peach cobbler unfortunately but would definitely return for the bbq!

BUT it was definitely the biggest, most positive surprise when it came to expectations vs. actual quality! We landed in Palm Springs late in the evening and were starving on our way out to Joshua Tree. After a quick Yelp search for something open past 7-8pm, this spot popped up. We pulled into a super quiet parking lot and found this tiny little place. Looking at it from the outside, we honestly figured it would just be a quick, forgettable pitstop. Boy, were we wrong. For starters, the place was relatively full for a Tuesday evening! We ordered the duck confit nachos, the kimchi bulgogi sandwich, and the pony wings. Wow! Granted, our expectations were unfairly low walking in, but this turned out to be probably our second-best meal of the entire week--and we ate out every single day! It absolutely crushed it in terms of exceeding expectations. It also helped that we happened to be there on a Wednesday, so all the wines were half-priced! Unfortunately, since we weren't familiar with the area, we didn't know exactly how much further we had to drive to our accommodations, so we couldn't imbibe more in such a welcoming environment. (Missed opportunity, but safety first!) Oh, and definitely save room for dessert--their pie with ice cream of the day was delicious too! If you are passing through, do not sleep on this place. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

Proper smash burger with crispy edges and a juicy center. The patties had great flavor and didn't need anything extra.
