Don't really opt for fast food but was out shopping and needed a quick bite. The drive thru was quick and the individual who took my order was pleasant enough. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and man, I'm glad I got two as they looked much smaller than I remembered them to be. My daughter likes the chicken fries but the French fries were a bit disappointing. I have an intolerance to beef. I ordered myself an impossible whopper because it has a plant-based patty. as soon as I received the order I immediately opened it and looked, I saw that the patty looked strange and smelled like meat, I asked the cashier if this was a patty made from plants, he convinced me that it was. as a result, I had successful stomach pains, today I checked again and from the photo on the Internet, it was definitely a meat patty!!! Gross. Last went to this Burger King location in June 2023. The fries were cold. The iced coke slushy tasted moldy. (I used to work in an almost fast food restaurant and I know those soda/ice/ice cream machines can get pretty gnarly if not properly maintained and cleaned). And the spicy nuggets were literally served to me in a pool of old grease. I wrote to Burger King as this was an exceptionally bad experience and potentially dangerous food safety issue for other customers. Corporate responded but the restaurant itself did not. No refund, no apology, no acknowledgement to improve the quality and food safety of the establishment. No response is a response. So that's the last time I went to Burger King, LoL. Fond childhood memories (saw the "power rangers" here as a kid) and desire for convenience sometimes taint my adult food choices. What more can I say? It's a Burger King. Generally when I'm craving fast food I'll head to Wendy's, or McDonald's as a backup. Burger King often comes in third, but there are some rare times where I'm just craving a Whopper. Those occasions usually lead me to this particular location since there are not many other Burger King locations in the area. On the last particular visit, I happened to actually be craving Wendy's and headed to the one down Merrick Road in Lynbrook. The drive-thru line was bonkers and I was starving, so I continued driving down to this Burger King location. The drive-thru line was nearly empty, which I attribute more to their ability to manage a drive-thru than their lack of popularity (especially comparing the amount of time it took for each vehicle to move forward), so I got in line and proceeded to order a Whopper meal. The drive-thru definitely moved quickly and the service was good overall. I had my food in less than 5 minutes from when I entered the line. Not bad at all! Returning home, I took my first few bites of the Whopper and felt the quality had gone down hill a bit since my last visit. Perhaps it was my taste buds or the burgers that day, but it didn't quite do it for me. The fries had the same distinct flavor I remembered, though, and the portion size definitely filled me up. Again, not much more to say. BK is typically my third choice for fast food, and this location is simply what you'd expect. If the craving is calling, make the trip. read more

When you ask for cheese on your impossible whopper and light onions they don't give you pickles when you ask for sprite light ice they give you no ice and no straw to drink it with. My friend is laughing that I said this BK is a 5 star. No Girrrrlll, not as in 5 star dinning, but as in they get 5 out of 5 stars for being tops at who they are and what they do. We rate accordingly. Service: quick and on point. Even the more mature (slightly chubby) security officer here is super nice and goes beyond. Even when school is in session and the children get a break and flock here like white on rice, things still run smoothly. The cashiers don't have a wide smile plastered on their faces but they still come across as affable. Besides, I'm not a fan of the "welcome to............. *insert HUGE deer caught in headlight fake GRIN here*" Food: Really? You don't know? Drive through: No matter how many cars are ahead the queue moves quickly. The service is incredibly quick whenever I go in there and it's pretty clean as well. Certain workers are nicer than others and it definitely shows, but in the end it's good most of the time. I mainly get the usual burger and fries ordeal but overall it's very tasty, especially the occasional whopper. It is really hit or miss here. Mostly miss though. They often use old condiments. The lettuce is usually yellow and the burgers lay around for a while, bleh. I've honestly never had a fresh burger from this location. I know they exist because the Burger King in Hewlett has fresh patties and condiments. Their french fries are good though (it's hard to mess that up). They are somewhat stingy on the dipping sauces though, you may have to pester them to give you enough honey mustard for the chicken fries/french fries. Been coming to this Burger King for a long time. Prior to the renovation service was slow but otherwise not bad. After the renovation, the environment looks much better but service dipped dramatically. Food takes longer then usual and it takes a long time to order. One of my biggest issues is the new restrictions on sauces. I just came from there the other day and orders 10pc nuggets meal spicy chicken sandwich and a four piece nugget. When I got my bag I didn't receive my sauce I requested. I then asked them for 2 BBQ and 1 ranch. When they came back they gave me 1 BBQ and 1 ranch and walked away. I waited for them to come back and asked for another BBQ and they said you only get one per 10 piece n 1 for a four piece. MAKES NO SENSE and so annoying. The people behind the counter obviously know this rule is a problem because they always walk away before you can address the issue. I like this burger king. They used to suck at putting the lids on the drinks correctly or cleaning the excess juice off the top. But overall foods always hot and good. The dining area is nice. Definitely avoid the area between 1130-12 when the kids from the high come in masses. It's also the same way after school ends. But other than that it's always quiet and the little lady who is always cleaning is the sweetest person. Get to know her before you judge her read more
