When you have a 10 year old you go to KFC for the first time ever apparently. You order what feels right and then when your food comes there's accidentally a section of a poultry vertebrae attached to your boneless chicken tender! Eep! No biggie. Bones fall apart when they're cooked guys. It WAS so surprising and yucky to bite into tho. So I took it up, wrapped in a napkin (like it was a damn lost tooth) and told the staff our story. She quickly and easily got her supervisor / manager who arranged a swift and speedy refund of my entire meal. Thanks KFC Woodland for Friday night vertebrae-free dinner! Three stars is gonna be a generous review. I constantly have trouble with this location ever since the new owners took over the service is awful. I always say I'm gonna come home and write a review and I never do well tonight's the night. I went through the drive-through and ordered the Tuesday special and a chicken pot pie. They look in the bag and look at the receipt like they're checking to make sure everything is there. I get home and my pot pie is not there. I look at my receipt I was charged for it. I go back to the restaurant across town and into the drive-through and I tell the girl that my pot pie was missing etc. had to drive back across town to get it. She didn't even really fake an apology. She just said pull forward to the window which I did. She said it's for the pot pie. I said yes it is. She basically hand a bag out the window with a very fake apology and closes the window. I've been in customer service my whole life. I'm 59 years old if you make a mistake, a genuine apology is the first thing required and maybe a free soda or a biscuit or something very inexpensive to show you're sorry I've had to drive back across town. This happens often. I think I'm finally done with this location, the gentleman who checked my order supposedly and handed it out The window was nowhere to be seen. It says the cashier name is nacho so yeah, I will call you out. I think from now on I will have to go to the one in Elk Grove where I work and not patronize the Woodland location any longer I go there at least once a week sometimes twice every time I go something is not correct or they don't have something ready and it will be a long way or they park your car in the front and leave you there for 15 minutes and forget you. It's just very disappointing. My first job ever was at a KFC in South Sacramento. That's still there and we were taught about customer service. I don't believe that is the case here in Woodland and it's very sad. read more

This kfc is one of the most cleanest places I have visited. Staff here is super helpful and polite. They are also very quick and bring out food very quick. They also handle problems with good professionalism and kindness. This place is very good, very sophisticated, and nice place to be in. The neighborhood is also very nice and friendly. Ordered 3 chicken original sandwiches asked for sauce waited 15 mins for the food and the guy brings the food out rude when handing the bag over practically threw the bag in my car i still said thanks, thought maybe he was having a bad day but still no excuse for the rudeness then when I get home across town just to find out theres no sauce in the bag called the store talked asked to talk to the manager it was a girl that's always there some overweight Caucasian girl told her what happened said it was there fault which was obvious then I asked for her name when I said I'll just call corporate and she hung up, wow nice manager. Called back and she dosnet answer the phone during business hours how unprofessional this is how they treat there customers. I will be filing a complaint with her manager in the morning. read more

I'm really impressed with how much the Woodland KFC has improved over the year! The extra crispy chicken tastes fresh, hot, and juicy -- not sitting out for hours like other places. The food is good, but too salty. The service, however, is terrible. Make sure to check your order before leaving if you don't want to go back to get the rest of it! I had that experience and even had trouble getting the rest of it, as the 'manager' I called did not leave a note there as she promised she would. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I waited 45 minutes past the time given to pick up my order and they fucked it up so I had to go back inside and wait even longer. They ignored me for 15 more minutes before I got any service again, not even management acknowledged me. I get it's a Friday but they wanted me to wait another 20 minutes to get my order corrected, I don't think they understand the meaning of fast food and you'd think by placing a mobile order it would be fast and painless but that isn't the case here. I'd rather spend my time traveling to Davis or another location than come back here. Staff is slow and walks around confused like they don't know what to do or where to go, they had a line of people waiting to order and a group of people off to the side also waiting for things they ordered online around the time I placed my own order and 3 of those other individuals were served and out the door before me.
