My family and I went to Burger Libre because it was holding a fund raiser for a family friend who is very sick. Any business that would help a person raise money for huge medical bills is a great place in my book. Wow! This was our first meal there and the food was very good, the service was great. Two of us had lunch here today. Here is a brief breakdown: The Good: - It's very clean, bright and seemed to have ample seating for the decent lunch crowd. - Good service from the crew on the floor. The Decent: - burger was fine - smallish for the price, but cooked fresh on a toasted bun. It has some sort of mayo based sauce but I didn't really pick up the taste. It was nice to get freshly cooked food. - crinkle cut fries were fine for what they were - frozen fries. They were freshly fried and hot - and with some of the red powder on the table, they were tasty. The bad: Two regular cheeseburgers, two fries, two sodas, $23.00. You can get as good as or better from whataburger or DQ for less. read more

Got the Classico and fries, they don't have a combo option which is a little frustrating but one order of fries are big enough for two. The burger was really good, beef tasted quality. Libre sauce was not very spicy, it's got just touch siracha, but you can hardly tell. Atmosphere was a little loud, small seating area so everything is amplified. This is a really cool concept with really delicious food and a fun experience. Everyone on the staff is super nice, they make your food hot and fresh and fast, and everything is really tasty. The location might be a little off the beaten path, especially for those living inside the beltway, but it's worth the trip. We were trying out this place out for the first time and the staff is very rude. We were waiting in line and when we were getting close to placing our order, we sent one person to get a table. After they were sitting for less than 5 minutes, a staff person told them they had to get up and let someone that has already placed their order to sit. There was several tables/seats available to occupy. I have never experienced this type of situation before. We left without ordering anything. On top of it, the same staff employee followed us to the door and yelled out "Thank You" as we left. Very unprofessional plus the menu was left to be desired. Everything that Russell does is great and I was not surprised when I tried this place. The burgers are great the fries and tots are perfect. You are going to have to wait a little while for your food but its worth it. The food here is always fresh and the manager runs a tight ship. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the price could be a little better. Its going to be hard to compete with the die hard Whataburger fan especially at the current price point for burger, fries and a drink. Some little things to point out just because I go with chemical plant people. They were upset about the real glasses and not being able to refill it themselves. A lot of guys like to pay for their big soda and then refill it and have it with them the rest of the day. If you have time for the full hour lunch you wont be disappointed. If you need a quick pick up or 20 minute site down and run, this place wont be the best thing for you. read more

I was on my way to a different place to eat, but the Burger Libre sign caught my eye and I busted a U-turn. No regrets! I had the Porky Gordo and tater tors - it was simple, tasty and satisfying. The staff even provided great service: swinging by to check on me, removing my empty tray and refilling my drink. If you're looking for an oversized burger, sorry to burst your bubble. Don't bother. Sauce isn't particularly good. Taste like pepper has been added to meat. Too much pepper taste. Pepper also fighting with sauce. Pricing is fair if they charge you correctly. Overcharged me for an item. Just nothing special. read more

It's not too bad. I live down the road and pass it up for another burger place, but its good. I read a review that someone didn't like the taco. It reminded them of Jack in the Box. It's similar, but more of an upgrade to that style of taco. It's actually kinda good. The burger meat is fantastic, and has freshness in their ingredients. I'm not huge on the kind of pickles they put in their. Great atmosphere, and great customer service. I recommend it. Especially if you live on the other side of town and looking for something different. Good reason to take a road trip. read more

This establishment was a great environment right from the moment you walked in, the workers greeted us. When we walked up to the register she helped us with what she recommended since it was our first time. For 2 burgers and combos our total was a really good price! Our food was brought to us when it came out & also asked if we needed anything else. We got the amazon sauce and it tasted amazing! There are also free refills on drinks which is great too!! My family and I loved this place. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a young lady with a smile and asked if it was our first time, gave us menus and told us where to order. They explained what each burger had and let us sample the two sauces they have. My husband and son both ordered the bacon burger and I ordered the classic. We also tried both the crinkly fries and tots. Everything was absolutely delicious. The fries and tots were crunchy, the burgers were great! After we were done with our burgers another employee approached our table to ask how we liked the food. I'm sure she was a manager... she asked if we would like to sample their tacos. They were really good! Overall a great experience, I really hope that their customer service stays this great. I have been wanting to try Burger Libre. Decided to order to go inside since they aren't doing take out phone orders yet. Purchased 2 of the Bacon Sancho burgers and a 3 pack of tacos and couldn't help but order one of the milk shakes. Total was $22.00, not a bad price considering that's almost what you would pay for combos at most fast food joints. Burgers were great, I love home made tasting burgers. The home made tasting pickles were delicious too. Tacos were awesome and shake was great too. Overall I was very impressed with the quality and taste of everything.
