Brought my son here tonight for his first Stomp's experience. He loved it! He got the Fried Egg Burger Fried egg, bacon, Provolone, avocado, tomato. I got the Tx Tumble Weed Grilled mushrooms, grilled onion, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, mayo. We also got Curly Fries and Thin Onion Rings. Service was excellent. Our waiter was a nice young man who kept our drinks full, brought extra napkins and ketchup. He checked on us throughout our meal. The restaurant was clean, well staffed, and just a great atmosphere. Went back recently and had another great experience. The burgers were great. I had the one with jalapeños and it was really tasty. Nice heat but not too much. The tater tots were perfect, curly fries were pretty good. The restrooms were sparkling clean, they put Buc-ee's to shame. We had great service from Marisa m. We will be back. read more

My first meal in Texas was at Stomp's. We arrived an hour before closing but there was still a good amount of people currently eating and a few just coming in. Here's what I tried: **Frito Pie: I'm not a chili expert but it was surprisingly really good. If you like fritos and chili, I recommend it. If not, just get it anyways. (4/5) **Fried Jalapenos: The whole batch of jalapenos had some heat to it so that was great! Ranch was really runny but it enhanced the flavor so no complaints. (4/5) **Yippy Ki Yay: I didn't want to get too crazy so I ordered something basic but not too basic. It was a decent burger but the overall flavor was lacking. The patty supposedly had ranch, bbq sauce, cheddar, and jack cheese blended in but I couldn't really taste any of those flavors. Was greeted immediately and ask if I was dining in or takeout. Place an order for take out. Ordered their bacon cheeseburger with fries and vanilla shake. Waited for about 15 minutes. Stomp's Burger Joint in Pearland is our FAVORITE restaurant. We spend birthdays, Father's Day/Mother's Day, heck... we event spent our 10th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY THERE. Thus, we were excited to see a Webster location while we had a staycation out there. We came for lunch on a Tuesday around 1pm. The place was empty other than one table. We sat outside since it was nice out. I ordered at the counter. Now, the Pearland location is always cool with me ordering a kid's burger meal. The normal-sized ones are SO BIG (and delicious) that I get overly full. So this visit with one of my kids with me, I ordered 2 kids cheeseburger meals. I was expecting the bill to be around $17... but it was $20-something. I paid it but looked at the receipt and they charged me $2.99 for a drink in addition to the kids meal which comes with one. I asked the girl about it and she says that the small drink only comes when kids order it, not adults and that she had to charge me for an adult drink. I said I didn't need an adult drink though and the small 8-10oz cup of soda was all I wanted for myself. She ended up refunding me the $3. I *guess* I can see how an adult could ask for a bunch of refills but maybe confirm if someone is ok with the child-sized drink before just tacking on extras. It just feels like sometimes you get punished for not being gluttonous and eating ginormous portions as an adult. Food was good like usual. Service was ok... I know she was probably just doing her job and was instructed to charge adults extra... Overall, Stomps has a great burger. read more

Super happy with service. Jacob is his name. I asked him if he could work some magic and add peanut butter to the milkshake. Let's see what happens. The burger was delicious. Too much white roll. I would love for some of these burger places to offer wheat rolls. But it was fresh. I just didn't want to eat all that white flour. The rings were good. Just the right amount of breading. Crispy. I am trying so hard to love this place and the food is really good so I like it. Literally everytime they upset me I bite into the burger and I'm no longer upset so I'm writing my review before eating. The first time we came it was good. We sat down and placed our orders. we thought we purchased combos a the portions were large but when the bill came out we were charged a lot for the fries as a side portion. They resolved the issue by not charging us separately for the drinks and let us know next time time you have to say you want a combo. Okay whatever. The next time I came I order a chili cheese fry and they don't put the chili and cheese on it so a manager says next time my meal will be comped. When I came to get my comped meal the manager was not there and the message hadn't been shared with anyone. It was supposed to somehow be under my number that I would get whatever it was comped and it wasn't but whatever. TODAY I order a burger fries and drink an ask for ranch to go with my meal. He gives me one for free but I wanted two. When I asked for two he says well we'll have to charge you so I'm like fine I want three then because since it was free i wasn't gonna be greedy but if I'm paying I want to make sure i have what i need. I'm charged 2.20 (just about half the price of my fry) for the ranch but now the first one isn't free. So I had to argue him and the manager down that shouldn't I get atleast once sauce free with my food. Apparently fries and a burger don't warrant a ranch and I should only want ketchup to go with my meal since I hadn't ordered something that "comes with sauce." I try so hard to like them but I can just as easily go to Red Robin and get a 17$ burger with endless fries and free ranch without the extra headache. And for the two of my orders I had issues with I didn't even get points so that's just another small loss that's irritating. read more

My son and I quote said "these chicken strips are heavenly and this is my FAVORITE RANCH" (previously an honor reserved for wing stop). We had a plain turkey burger and genuinely was delicious. I am so sad that I have to even leave 3 stars for this spot but it is what it is. I'm just going to jump right in- We ordered the fried mushrooms, regular fries, seasoned waffle fries, the kids mini corn dogs meal, the jezzabelle, and the Texas tumble weed. The fried mushrooms- I was excited to try these but the ranch was missing from our order so that was a complete buzzkill because yes, we have ranch at home, but something about ranch from a restaurant hits different. Also, there wasn't much seasoning, if any at all, on these so it was pretty bland. And any additional sauce costs an extra $0.49 so that plays a part in the cost of the "meal" or appetizer. I would rate the mushrooms a 3/5. The fries were good, the seasoned fries were okay. Both I'm going to rate a 3.5/5. The jezzablle- this was the winner of the entire order. Cream cheese and jam just go so well together and I haven't come across a burger like that, honestly ever, so kudos to them! Rating is a 4.5/5. The Texas Tumble Weed- it was a bit dry. I was excited to try this because I've seen the reviews on it but maybe the night we tried it, it just wasn't a hit. I had to add extra Mayo from home in hopes it would make it better and it did slightly but, when you have to add stuff from your own home, is it really good? Rating is a 2.5/5. I always feel a bit uneasy when you have to pay for each item in your meal separately so that was also unfortunate.
