Really loved using the Yelp GrubHub ordering!! Super easy. This said, when you're done ordering it says you'll receive a confirmation from the restaurant, which took a long time to receive. Food was ready on time though! Would like to see text notifications instead of email. Lounge Burger-cooked perfect, juicy and delicious. This is a nice sized burger and a full meal, if you're not ravenous. Order a side if you are. If you're a cheese lover, order extra cheese. One slice doesn't cut it. The Husky-HUGE double patty burger. Ordered patties med rare, but I thought they were rare. My son, however, was just fine with it so it worked out. Classic burger-with GF bun and bacon. My other kid said the GF bun is one of the best he's had and it didn't fall apart while he was eating it -a big +. If you're GF, you know how hard it is to find a good one! Tried their Truffle Mushroom Swiss burger which was delicious. The truffle flavor came through and the beef patty was juicy. The bun felt super rustic yet really soft. There was slight bitterness that came through with each bite - wasn't sure where it came from (maybe the arugula?) but it wasn't unpleasant. I did wish there were more mushrooms on the burger. But other than that, my burger was quite delicious. We also got Half & Half (Half Onion Rings and Half French Fries) as a side to share, and the onion rings were good (slightly thinner on the batter though) and the fries were also tasty. Overall I really liked what we got from this place. I think the price was a bit high though in my opinion ($13 for my burger as of January 2023) while the portion wasn't that huge, and the burger didn't come with any side. I'd love to try this place again during happy hour though (see one of my photos). The service was nice, and staff were friendly. The restaurant seemed well kept and clean. Visited this place yesterday with a colleague to enjoy a quick lunch while working in Walnut Creek. Overall this place is good but a bit pricey, comparable if not more expensive than 5 guys. In total I paid $44.00 for two burgers, 2 orders of fries and 2 drinks. Seems a bit expensive for burgers. I believe the big thing here is that they serve grass fed beef but no noticeable taste over regular beef. Long story short not sure I would eat here again for the amount I paid and the food I ate. As far as flavor and taste, it's a burger and no real big differences or anything that sets it apart from other burgers . Overall the service was good and the ambiance was new fresh looking diner. Again reason for my 3 star review was mostly because of price compared to food ratio and because it doesn't set itself apart from others on taste. read more

I ordered a turkey lounge burger, my daughter had fries and a chocolate shake, my bf had a crispy chicken sandwich. I can't say the turkey burger was the best I've had. It was good. My bf was expecting the crispy chicken to be crispy but it wasn't. And it was chicken breast meat. He would rather have dark meat. And he thought the sandwich was dry. Update 2/21 My last review of the place was pretty harsh. I guess I should have known better than to get a vegan burger at a grass fed beef place. Was given a gift card by management to give them a second chance. But thank goodness I'm not vegan anymore, I got a real beef classic back when I tried it again in January, and my goodness it was amazing. Below is a review: There are a lot of burger places to choose from in Walnut Creek with varying levels of quality meats and creative combinations. The same can be true of the service you receive. What I can say about Burger Lounge is that the quality is high and they execute the staples really well. If you are a traditional burger kind of person who enjoys the usuals like avocado, bacon, thousand island dressing, grilled onions and fries that always come out crispy (YUM!) then this place is for you. Their burgers are not overly complicated and you can actually bite into them without detaching your jaw. Keep in mind they also serve Turkey, Chicken, Fish, and plant-based alternatives equally well if beef is not your thing. They have some Paleo options too and a high quality gluten-free bun. What inspired me to write this review when there are a lot of good burger places is that the staff was truly kind, warm, and friendly. It's a little cold inside so dress warm or hope the ambient temp is kept higher. Portions are about right for someone who wants a burger experience without stomach bloating and burps 3 hours+ later. Like you don't have to feel like you have to save any food or whatever it's a one hit meal. But no doubt you'll be full for about $16. Really great burgers. We were in on a Tuesday. Free meals for kids on Tuesdays, which I wasn't aware of. The service and staff were quite friendly. Pretty clean establishment and nice patio area. I've had my eye on Burger Lounger ever since they moved into the fairly new Orchards Shopping Center in the heart of Central Walnut Creek. Founded in Southern California, this is one of only two locations this burger franchise has in the Bay Area, as Burger Lounge specializes in the aforementioned burgers made from American grass-fed beef, salads, shakes, French fries and onion rings. When I found out that Burger Lounge had joined the illustrious lineup of new store and shops that made up the lovely new shopping center that serves the suburban area of central Contra Costa County, I knew a trip would one day be in order. An after doing some holiday shopping this past year, it turned out to be the day on a fairly warm sunny afternoon day at the Broadway Plaza, I suggested to my party that we head out to the Orchards for some lunch. The drive from downtown Walnut Creek to the Orchards Shopping Center is actually a decently long fifteen minutes as traffic no doubt plays a part. Once we got there at about 2 p.m. in the afternoon, there was plenty of parking in the shopping center's lot. Thankfully, there was not too many people eating in their outdoor patio and no line inside to order at their counter. The menu has been streamlined for the times we live in as their salads and ahi tuna sandwich were not made available. I knew on the day we came we wanted something outside the traditional hamburger so we ordered their Alaskan Cod Sandwich, which featured pan-fried sustainable cod, shredded lettuce, tomato, and their signature tartar sauce served on a freshly backed roll. Meanwhile, I decided to order their Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which featured a fresh chicken breast, shredded lettuce, tomato, pickets and their signature herb mayo served on a freshly baked roll. With my sandwich I ordered it as a combination, which mean it came with fresh-cut French Fries and a drink, which they poured for you. We also ordered their Onion Rings and a Strawberry Hand-Scooped Milkshake topped with Whipped Cream. It didn't take too long for our meal to be delivered with ranch sauce and ketchup for dipping our sides to our outside table. What we got was a wonderfully fresh and warm meal made with fresh ingredients wonderfully prepared. We especially loved splitting the cod sandwich and the bread that come with both sandwiches and it was rich with flavor. It made us appreciate the ingredients that composed both sandwiches. The sides were decent, oily as expected, both nothing too remarkable. Overall, we really enjoyed our lunch time meal at Burger Lounge, where sitting outdoors on a warm afternoon day helped contribute to the overall experience. Was it the most affordable meal for three? Considering this is a fast-casual restaurant, this debatable as their premium sandwiches do come at quite the expenditure. But what can't be denied is that by using fresh quality ingredients at Burger Lounge, you are guaranteed to enjoy a nice quick meal without being burdened by an overall heaviness of the food you eat, and for that we can all be grateful and maybe next time I may even try their namesake burger! read more

I've seen a lot of complaints related to ordering through GrubHub / in person, but we ordered through DoorDash and had absolutely no problems! Food came on time, just as we ordered, packaged properly. I loved that they had a vegetarian/vegan option because a lot of burger places don't even offer that, which is really annoying when everyone has different diets! I greatly appreciated and respected that about this place. We actually had selected other burger places first and then had to back out because there were no vegetarian options, so it's truly why we selected Burger Lounge and were happy we did. We don't eat beef so I can't comment as to how their BURGER burgers were. We tried: Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Organic Quinoa Vegan Burger, and 1/2 & 1/2 onion rings & fries. Everyone was pleased with their food! It was surprisingly very filling, we were all stuffed. I loved the onion rings since it was seasoned differently than regular basic onion rings (although nothing against regular onion rings because I love them haha). On this particular day I was working out of my Walnut Creek Shadelands office and had not packed lunch. It was pretty late like 3pm so I was pretty hungry. I didnt plan on choosing Burger Lounge when I walked over to the shopping center but glad that I did. I selected the Lounge Burger combo with a side salad and drink. The fountain drink bar had a wide variety of unique sodas and lemonades. I selected the Shirley Temple soda sat down and waited for my food. They had gave me a buzzer to alert me when my food was ready yet brought me my food beautifully presented on a plate. I was really excited about the salad as it wasnt your typical burger joint side salad. Sort of a cross between a slaw and green salad mixed with fresh sweet corn sliced off the cob. The burger was fully cooked ( unlike what others have mentioned being pink and rare) It definitely tasted like good quality beef. The burger needed a little ketchup and salt but still tasty. Loved the salad and a good compromise to getting fries which also looked good.. The servers walked around checking on patrons, and even offered to get me a cup to go for another beverage which they prepared for me. To the management of Burger Lounge. I've been to your location a few times before but yesterday's experience was really bad and disappointing. So bad that I feel the need to write this review which I have never done before for any business/establishment. I ordered a couple of things to go. Person that took my order was nice and polite. Nonetheless, while waiting for the food last night, I noticed an employee having a bad cough. A symptom you probably don't want to see an employee of a restaurant have at the moment amidst the current situation with covid-19. I looked away and tried not to let it bother me but at the same time, I was hoping that employees are being told to stay home if they are sick. If it was only me in the restaurant, maybe I would let this go but there were other customers in the restaurant. The fact we were there didn't stop the kind of ruckus that was coming out the kitchen. Employees in the kitchen can be heard banging things around, laughing and screaming. If I wanted to go to a circus, I would have gone there instead but I just wanted to get some good food. This noise carried on for a long time and it went on even after I left the place after getting my food. There was no respect for customers who were there at all. What a shame. Speaking about good food, I came home and when I opened the bag, this is how I found my food. Onion rings were specially topped with nice ketchup packs. Thank you but no thank you. I hate to bring this up again but with the Covid-19 situation we all have to do our due diligence and take precautionary measures to avoid the spread of the virus. MORE SO in a food facility. I don't know how many hands have probably reached in that bin or tub where the ketchup packs are kept and then to find out it gets thrown ONTO my food is just disgusting. Time to buck up and take things more seriously guys. You've got a business to run and we all want to support our own local businesses here but not if it's going to be like this.
