Excellent location with some outdoor seating under shade. Excellent burgers and more. I had the roam burger, fries and brussel sprouts again.

    Chalet Burger, Sweet Potato Fries

This Roam Artisan Burgers constantly has traffic but very spacious. Tables, chairs, the self-serve water station - everything was always kept clean despite a lot of their customers being children. I ordered the Chalet Burger - swiss cheese and cremini mushroom combo paired with their house sauce is delicious. I like all-things mushroom, so I may be a bit bias but this was a pretty decent burger. The toasted buns with the numerous sesame seeds added a lot of texture. Overall quick service and very decent burgers!

Great time for lunch after 2pm

First time here, the soup was delicious and I loved the pesto sauce that was drizzled, My grilled cheese was delicious and they used a white cheese! The sweet potatoes fries were good and tasty. Of the 3 items I ordered, my sandwich was cooked and warm. My soup was delicious and flavorful but warm -not hot. Fries were nice and warm. Service was quick and my meal came out quickly. The ambiance is very cabin feeling with the wood design.

    Apparently their fried chicken sandwich?

I really wanted to like this place since I've been here a few times. I ordered a friend chicken with the ranch on the side. They brought it to me with ranch on it. So I asked for it again because I'm lactose intolerant. They then bring me a new one with day old chicken strips that made it impossible to handle. I asked about it and they admitted they were made earlier and just had them ready so it would be faster. Super confused at this point. Why give me something old that I don't ask for because it is kinda close to what I did order? Then they explained that there is buttermilk in the chicken anyways so I should get the not fried chicken. I said fine. It do finally come a while later. So disappointing since the bun was twice the size of the actual chicken. Disappointed experience. Sad. Have them 3 instead of 1 because it felt like a 3 experience.

Hit up Rome Artisan Burger for an early dinner on Saturday--practically had the place to ourselves at 4pm. Plenty of parking, which already puts them ahead of most spots. **The Order** Went with the chimichurri burger and their famous haystack of onions and zucchini. My fiancé grabbed the lettuce-wrapped turkey burger with sweet potato fries, plus a refresher (free with their loyalty signup--smart move). **The Verdict** The chimichurri burger? High-quality beef with interesting flavors, but honestly, sometimes a great burger doesn't need the fancy extras. That haystack looked Instagram-ready but arrived swimming in grease--definitely a sharing situation, not a solo mission. Should've stuck with regular fries. My fiancé's turkey burger was a winner though, and those sweet potato fries disappeared fast. The refresher was apparently "amazing" according to her enthusiastic review. **Bottom Line** Counter service keeps things moving, there's nice patio seating for sunny days, and you can tell they're using quality ingredients. It's not going to blow your mind, but when you want a solid burger without the fuss, Rome Artisan delivers. Just maybe skip the haystack unless you're sharing. Perfect for: Quality burger cravings, casual dining, patio weather Skip if: You want mind-blowing flavors or hate counter service

Updated review. See original for more details and less complaints lol. Since ordering takeout from Roam for a long time, it's unfortunate I feel the need to drop their rating. The price increases and less food, ultimate shrinkflation. Kids meal (with cheese on the plain burger) itself is close to $20, and the side of fries in the tiny bag was barely full, just around 7 fries in that thing. 1/3 full. The husband called and they said their portion sizes did change. Really??? I suppose I'm just mad that my French n Fries burger got messed up. Instead of the Brie cheese, they put blue cheese. Not my thing, especially in this burger. Not the first time they got it wrong, and it takes so much time and effort to go back or to call and tell them. More money to add each single item to a point that it's ridiculous. Quality is still OK for the most part, but it has been very inconsistent the past few times we've ordered. Still a fun atmosphere inside the place, but I'm too sober to forgive the recent mistakes and extreme shrinkflation.

You will go for the food as it is super tasty and you simply can it go wrong with any items on the menu. Staff are busy and hard working but clearly jaded. The ambiance is none existent. But again you will go back for the food. The man cashier tries her hardest.

I tried Roam for the first time with a friend a little past 7pm on a Friday night. Our order was the Tejano burger, Sunny Side burger, brussels sprouts, season veggies (cauliflower), and sweet potato fries. It was pretty full when we got there, but we were able to promptly order and find two seats at the bar counter. The positives: Roam is clearly working with high quality ingredients. I appreciate any restaurant that is able to source locally. The burgers were balanced and constructed well. The flavor profiles and textures also made sense. The staff was also friendly and attentive. The ambiance is a bit noisy like a bar, but it's casual, hip, and probably meant to be that way. Areas for improvement: It took about 45 minutes for us to get our food. I understand that it was a busy night, but many people were waiting for a while. And it seemed like a lot of food came out at once. When we received ours, everything was colder than it should have been. The fries and veggies had clearly been sitting for a while, and the temperature of the burgers made it seem like they were warm, but not fresh off the grill. Had I come on a less busy time, perhaps my experience would have been different. However, 2 burgers, 3 sides, plus tip (no drinks) came out to just under $70.00. I don't think being served fresh and hot food is too big of an ask, even on a Friday night. I may try Roam again because I like the concept and ingredients. If the food service were better paced, it could easily be a 4 or 5 star review for me.

Wife's Summertime burger missing tomato and barely any cheese.
    Drew C.

I tried surprising my wife and kids with takeout from one of my wife's favorite burger joints that we unfortunately hadn't frequented in a year. I hoped to have offered a relaxing evening turned into disappointment. My kids got chicken strip kids meals which worked out fine. But then it got sad. They forgot my wife's French fries she ordered. She wanted to share the summer veggies with bison meat, soup, and the summer time burger. All three portions were worth 1/3rd of what we got. The bison meat was actually beef and the portion of veggies was barely covering the container. The soup Says it's a quart for two servings and it was barely half a quart. Then my wife's burger had a tiny piece of mozzarella cheese and missed the tomato. It was nothing close to the picture describing the Summertime burger. Kids got through dinner happy with chicken but mom and dad had to dig through the fridge. Not worth the $100 bill.

I used to make it to Roam every few weeks, stopping in as I talked back and forth to Oakland. Those trips have become sporadic, but my love for their budgets remains unchanged. This trip I skipped the shake and went straight for the meat. My medium rare burger was juicy and satisfying. The egg on top made it perfect. If you don't want to skip the shake, the current seasonal flavor is Lemon Meringue. If that idea appeals, but you want to save on calories, the Meyer Lemon Soda is delicious. It has a nicely bitter edge. I really wanted to try the seasonal soup, which was Red Lentil with Thai Red Curry, Coconut Cream, Cilantro and Chili Oil. It's a must try for next time. Totally worth the parking hassle. Recommended.

Burger, fries, chocolate shake - really good but now over $30
    Christina P.

Delicious burgers and fries, and it's nice they have wine and beer. Have to remove one star for the recent price increases which gave me a bit of a shock when they took my burger, fries and shake to over $30 - and that's with no service added ordering at the counter. Love the food here but if it gets any more expensive I will probably have to "Roam" on over to Social Bird which is a full service restaurant with cocktails that serves just as good a burger at actually a lower price.

We started with an appetizer and garlic bread (see picture). We had about six pieces of bread and as you can see in the picture, it was on the burnt side. I cannot believe that for the price you pay for a bread, they would serve this. I also ordered a black coffee, but it tasted like it had been sitting there since the morning and tasted really nasty. I asked to have a hot tea instead. Food was good. We ordered spaghetti, carbonara, some chicken dish, and a grilled salmon. All the food tasted delicious and we cleaned out the carbonara and spaghetti. After we ate our dinner, they gave my son-in-law a slice of tiramisu with a lighted candle. Overall, it was a pleasant evening and we enjoyed our food (except for the garlic bread). I'd like to see them do me good and give me a nice garlic bread the next time I eat here.

The beers were the best thing, then the shishitos. Our cheese plate was completely INEDIBLE. You could tell that it had been sitting out for a very long time because the cheese was sweaty and some pieces were MOLDY - like the edge piece of a hard cheese after it's been in your fridge for a while that you cut off and throw away. The grapes were shriveled as well. Not sure how this is acceptable to serve. Supposedly it was made earlier for room service. All they did was take it off the bill and barely apologized - we were in a hurry since it took about 20/25 minutes for everything to even come out and could not wait for them to remake it. Idk, it was appalling and I was hoping for more restitution. Will not be recommending.

As a huge fan of French cuisine, I'd been following RÊVE for years and decided to book a table for the graduation dinner. I made a reservation about three months in advance just to be safe, since the restaurant only has about eight indoor tables. The restaurant was tucked away in a nondescript strip mall, but upon entering through the side gate, I felt like I was stepping into a Parisian neighborhood bistro. Our friendly waitress walked us through the menu and seasonal specials and even pointed out the can't-miss dishes. Thank goodness we followed her advice - the frites were among the best I've ever tasted! We debated ordering another cone of frites but decided to pace ourselves because we also ordered the gougères, RÊVE salad, and escargot to share. Additionally, we received complimentary fresh baguette and butter. For my main dish, I decided to try the quenelle, which can be described as a soft dumpling made from seafood purée that resembles a velvety soufflé. Every bite had a rich seafood flavor that, even now, I can't stop thinking about. Even though we were quite full after dinner, we were tempted by the dessert menu and decided to split the chocolate mousse and French opera cake. Both desserts were exquisite - they were small portions but packed a lot of richness without being overly sweet.
