What made this risotto sparkle, is that the chef added sweet peas to it. A delicious combination with the big pieces of lobster and scallops. My spouse had the crabmeat stuffed haddock as her entree. A short time later the whole restaurant was full. Our waitress Lia M was very attentive and present for any needs. She was pleasant and even made our anniversary celebration memorable and special. The food is fantastic, we have been there in the past and ordered their special garlic bread which is fresh and delicious with toasted garlic and cheese on top. My wife and I both had the salmon dish in the menu which included broccoli potatoes and mashed butternut squash. The delicious meal was complete with a cold dessert of chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream. We shared dessert and the presentation was fantastic with included berry double hearts. I would not hesitate to heartily recommend eating here. The ambiance of the dining area is made even more special by a fire in the rock fireplace. The mashed potatoes looked like they had been on the plate long enough to form a skin. They were very pasty. Vegetables were canned and not rinsed of the canning liquid. So they were slimy with a garbage like smell. We were given a bread plate but no bread or roll or butter. They stock a lot of beers which seem a little higher priced than other area places. The bath room was okay if you don't touch the rusty waste basket. It had more of the pub decor-wooden ad signs screwed to the wall. There was a toilet, sink and very thin toilet paper. As others have mentioned, service was slow. If we could have chatted,I might have noticed less. Our waitress was very pleasant.
