Dat sweet baby lettuce was slapping & those garden veggies were so super fresh! Yum, mah dudes + dudettes. I elected to have a portion of well done salmon added atop o' my salad!!!! I made an extremely sound decision, I do believe. It elevated my salad, enjoyment, and dining experience overall. :) Hardy har har, Peter Joseph! I dined with company; a companion; my fellow diner ordered the summer garden pasta. Their experience was also savory. Otherworldly, almost, even. The pasta had been boiled to perfect temperature, clearly. And the summer squash, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and parmesan chz were absolutely savory -- not to mention that fresh ass garlic. Yes, this establishment is inside of a hotel/resort, kind of. But you should eat here, friends, you won't be disappointed. The waitstaff was excellent, and also kind. No one here was annoying. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We waited 30 minutes before anyone came to take our order. We had to ask two different staff members and a manager before someone finally acknowledged us. Because the service was so slow, we ordered everything at once, worried that the server would disappear again after taking our drink order. Even our drinks took a very long time to arrive. Then we waited another 30 minutes for our food, while tables that were seated after us were already being served and eating. We felt completely invisible the entire time. We weren't even served bread--maybe the kitchen was out harvesting the wheat and grinding the flour first. At that point, we told our server we wanted to leave and asked for the bill for the drinks so we could pay and go. She said she would get someone. Twenty minutes later, no one came. We asked again, and still nothing happened. When we firmly said we just wanted to pay for the drinks and leave, our food suddenly appeared almost immediately. By then, it was far too late. We told them we no longer wanted it because we had already said 30 minutes earlier that we were leaving. Instead of apologizing, one staff member argued with us, saying, "But the food is already made." That was completely unacceptable. Thankfully, the manager eventually stepped in so we can leave. The manager is nice, everything else is a mess. After this experience, we have no interest in coming back. The food may or may not be good, we never got the chance to find out. The service was unbelievably disorganized and disappointing. We will not be returning. read more

We had excellent Caesar salads. The clam chowder was to die for the calamari was soggy. I can see that it has such potential, but we didn't get to eat it. Unfortunately, we ordered all of our courses at once and then we got our soup our salad, and our calamari all at once and there was no place to put but even a finger on the table. I don't know why they dropped all the food together it made us feel rushed. Our server was great. She did not drop the food and took all of our orders by memory and was accurate on everything I had the braised short rib and it was a huge chunk of meat and very tasty very tender. The lobster roll was nothing to write home about which is what my husband got- too bad. The ambience with the view right over the ocean is spectacular, but I think they cut themselves short by putting a bunch of round tables at the front they could build a lengthwise from the windows so more people could view it overall I would return for lunch. I would not return here for a dinner because it was impossible to hear the room is super loud and could use some material to reduce the bounce back. read more

So we wanted somewhere different and hopefully on the water. It was my wife's birthday. Well we thought we would try the Lantern Room at Silver Beach in No. Falmouth. Immediately I was served the wrong drink from the bar. As I am a bread guy, I ordered the $9 Bread service, fresh from a local bakery. Sadly it was stale and served toasted. My wife ordered the mussels, they were served bone dry. I had the fish and chips. The fish was pretty good, fries were served stone cold. We decided to cut our losses and skip dessert. Simply put, our server Tyler could not have been nicer. Sadly, all of our food could not have been worse. Just a gawd awful experience . read more

The last night of my trip, I decided to dine at the Lantern Room located inside the Sea Crest Resort. Normally, hotel restaurants inside are not usually the greatest. However, the food and drinks were good, but overpriced in my opinion. I ordered a glass of rosé advertised as $12/glass in the menu, when I received the bill, I was charged $16. The open concept and views of the beach and the ocean, deserve 5 stars alone. I rated 3 stars, while the food was good, the quality did not match the price. Nor did the prices of wine reflect the advertised price after purchase. read more

We had a magnificent time at The Lantern Room at The Sea Crest Beach Resort for the 2025 Holidays. It was just two of us this year so we decided to make reservations for the Thanksgiving Buffet. We live nearby in North Falmouth and had never given it a try. In previous years, we had tried Thanksgiving at other Cape Cod restaurants and we were extremely disappointed... everything was overloaded with salt. We were expecting more of the same at The Sea Crest, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was cooked perfectly! We were seated by a window facing the water and had a terrific view for our meal. The staff was polite and friendly and we appreciated their working on the holiday to provide us such a wonderful experience. The executive chef even stopped by to see how we were enjoying the meal and the first thing we mentioned was how delicious everything was due to the toned-down salt. We had such a good time, we returned for the Christmas Day Brunch. Yurii, the Director of Food and Beverage for The Sea Crest, remembered us from Thanksgiving and we were seated at the same exact table. Everything was on par again for Christmas and we plan on returning next year with family. It definitely takes the stress and effort out of preparing meals for the holidays. read more

We were a little concerned about dining here, after reading the poor reviews of the Lantern Room, that we might be taking a chance. So glad that we DID! The service by Heather was great and the food delicious. Whoever was the chef that night cooked us a wonderful main course of monkfish. Everything about it was perfect. The clams, the potatoes, the broth, and the seared monkfish were all amazing! A mouthwatering dish. Doubt that this was a fluke because the food we saw served around us also looked great. The atmosphere for dinner is very plain, but the chairs were super comfortable and there was some nice background music playing. We had a perfectly made drink that was supposedly $16 but they charged $17 so maybe they should look at updating the menu prices. That is the only small complaint. We will definitely be back and can't understand all the bad reviews. read more

Staying at the hotel for a conference so I have eaten here multiple times out of necessity, not because it's good. This place clearly stays open due to being associated with the hotel and for the views, which are phenomenal. Food is very blasé and boring. It's what my husband and I call "fake nice." Got the chopped salad which is just a normal green salad with boiled egg. It's supposed to come with buttermilk ranch. Definitely wasn't buttermilk based or homemade. Added chicken to it which was just plain grilled chicken, no salt or pepper or seasoning. My girlfriend and I came for dinner on a Sunday night, end of September. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and the experience we had. Amy and Mike were our servers, and they made sure we had everything and more. It was a super busy crowd for off season, and they still managed to make our experience more than exceptional. We visited this restaurant twice. The first night my husband and I split the half chicken with potatoes and asparagus. The meat and sauce were tasty, but the potatoes were under. Then we tried the lemon tart and loved it. The next night we tried their pizza. It was a"carnivore pizza " and was so tasty. We ordered the large but weren't able to eat it all and of course we had dessert. One of the best parts of the meal was watching the sunset. The sunsets are amazing! read more
