I like their fries and the options to have them seasoned differently. I haven't been into a BurgerFi in over a year, but I've ordered on DoorDash too many times. Super delicious! I drive long hours for Uber and decided to take a break and stop for a burger since I had really been craving it. I Came at 9:43pm and a lady told me they were closed and would not let me place an order. Even though they are supposed to be open until 10pm. Ugh I'm so 50/50 on this place! My burger (the CEO) was GOOD, like, real good! But the fries were not. But I'll also go and say that the fries here reminded me of the fries from 5 Guys, and like, 99.9% of the population loves 5Guys fries, sooo take my opinion with a grain of salt! I was hoping I could get their Onion Rings, but apparently there a nationwide recall on onions so they didn't have any. For the fries, if you're going to get them, definitely get the Urban ones. It has Parmesan cheese and a garlic aioli on them, and the gal behind the counter said that's the most popular way to get them. I also got a "concrete". Don't get that. It's about the size of my palm. It's cake and ice cream layered in a little container. When she was explaining it to me I was thinking it was cake layers within a shake...I don't know why I was thinking that, but by the time I got it there was a line and I was hungry so I just took it and left. I ordered online and when I arrived my food, fries and burger, were cold. I was not but 10 minutes away from the restaurant. When my s/o asked for the food to be remade so it could be hot for us to eat, the cashier informed us that they'd issue a refund. We did not ask for a refund, it was offered. There was no fuss or ruckus in asking for hot food or in the situation at all. It was clear the cashier just did not want to assist and was rather dismissive and shrugged the situation without resolution. Ultimately, we got no food and I never got a refund for the two burger meal. Extremely disappointed, I'm dissatisfied and I feel robbed. I tried to call to speak to a manager but the phone number goes to an automated line that refers you to order online. Pretty good burger spot! Pros: High quality ingredients, vegan and vegetarian options, delicious milkshakes. Cons: Very busy location, pricey, excessive waits during peak hours. I enjoy coming here mostly because of its proximity to my apartment complex. I don't know that I would frequent BurgerFi if it wasn't within walking distance to me. The food is always hot and fresh, I just have to make sure I'm taking home with me what I actually ordered. Even when ordering through the app they will still give me fries in place of onion rings or other simple mistakes. So I recommend to check your order before you leave! I usually get the BurgerFi cheeseburger with mushrooms and onions. It's a really good (double) cheeseburger, but if you're looking for something smaller they will make it a "junior" for a couple bucks less. On the side I like to splurge and get some onion rings, which are expensive but delicious and definitely worth it to me! Especially with their garlic aioli or BurgerFi sauce for dipping. For dessert I like to have a milkshake and their chocolate and red velvet are suuuuper good! Don't forget to ask for extra sprinkles. Boy how I hate to having to downgrade a review, but after two not so great visits, I feel like I have to do so. Maybe it's because they've gotten really busy, maybe management has changed? Not sure, but I have to say yesterday was our last visit to BurgerFi, at least this location. Previously my husband had craved a burger and stopped by. He is unable to stand for long periods of time, and was frustrated when the counter person continued to carry on a private conversation instead of helping the customers in line. He even sat for a few minutes, but the conversation continued, so he ended up leaving. This is NOT good customer service in the least. If you want to have a conversation, do it after customers have been taken care of, not while they're standing in line. Yesterday we took the kids bowling and they wanted a burger, so we decided (against hubby's wishes) to go back to this location. We should have listened. The counter person was very nice, so that was a plus, but after than the food was disappointing. The burgers were dry and tasteless. I had even ordered the CEO Burger thinking it would be quite full of flavor, and it was so very disappointing. Hubby ate about two bites and said I can't choke it down it's so dry. The worst part of the meal though were the onion rings and fries. They were dripping with grease. I actually took 5 napkins to soak up the grease and they still were laden and inedible. Not only that, they were room temp. We did get a second order, and they were hot at least, but still dripping with grease. We ended up tossing them in the garbage. When you spend $50 for a family of four (one under the age of 12 so eating off the kids menu) for lunch burgers, you have an expectation that you should be experiencing something better than your typical fast-food meal. read more

I wanted to try their onion rings. They were the batter type, not the breaded type and they were good, not great. You get 5 per order and they were over 5 dollars. I also ordered their regular size fries and asked for them well done. They were Idaho potatoes; I know because we sold a lot of fries in our restaurant in Pittsburgh back in the late 1980's. The fries were as good as 5 Guys. The fries were also $5. And then came the drink -That was $3.25 which I thought was outrageous. It came from a very expensive Coke Dispenser that many places have already had removed. The machines are defective. Pick any flavor and the amount of syrup dispensed with the carbonated water is insufficient. The Brix count has to be recalibrated! I felt a bill for over $14 was absolutely ridiculous. I looked around at lunch and saw a lot of young professionals from nearby businesses dining together and I honestly wondered how they could afford to eat at this place where the burger was $10.00. By time you are out of there, you're talking about $16 for lunch. This chain is going to be in trouble just like 5 Guys who also has a reputation of being too expensive for a lot of young people. And just like 5 Guys, they take perfectly fresh ground quality meat and mash the crap out of it. I won't be back, but good luck to them. I love a great tasting burger, so when I spotted BurgerFi while driving through Jacksonville, I felt it was my duty to sample the menu. Like Five Guys restaurant, a BurgerFi "burger" consists of two beef patties. If you only desire a single patty, you must specify this when you order. All burgers are cooked to order, so the wait time for my bacon cheeseburger was approximately ten minutes. Self-described by the company as "Double Natural Angus Beef, Double Bacon, and Double American Cheese", the burger immediately perked my interest. Fries are fresh and hand cut (not frozen) and they also offer onion rings. If you cannot decide between fries and onion rings, you can order the "fry and cry". This consists of a half order each of double battered onion rings and fries on top of each other. The bacon cheeseburger I ordered was seasoned just right, arrived hot and delicious, and was more than enough for a burger lover like me. BurgerFi also serves hot dogs, chicken and veggie burgers, custards and milkshakes. The restaurant was spacious enough to include a community table which seated ten, in addition to intimate spaces and tables for two. There is also an exterior dining area. The first thing I would like to discuss about my visit today was the outstanding customer service I received from Ja"Mia!!!! Her pleasant smile, outstanding knowledge of the menu, and her sense of humor was the most valuable asset this restaurant has. She knew the difference between the two vegetarian options. When I chose the vegan option she wanted to make sure that I was comfortable with the condiments because of the dairy products. Her knowledge and her concerns were beyond words customer centered and her friendliness and humor truly made this a Five Star visit. The vegan burger was cooked very well, had a lot of flavor, and was very filling. I was very impressed because most often when you get a veggie or vegan burger they tend to fall apart where is the stayed together. I will definitely be back except next time I'm going to put the fried egg on it. Stopped here for an early dinner last night with my son, as the location was close to an event we were attending downtown. The food was well cooked, came out quickly and we had no complaints. My son especially enjoyed his junior bacon cheeseburger but I found the $5.99 upcharge to make it a combo meal with fries and drink a little steep. I will say however, the $5.49 we spent for a vanilla milkshake was well worth it - that thing was amazing - so rich and flavorful. Also, they charge .59 cents to transition from a standard bun to a lettuce bun - not cool. I do have a few areas of concern, first it would be good to remind the staff that despite their secondary duties, they still have primary duties like taking orders, I ended up waiting to find the person on register as other employees told me it was not their task. However, they do now have kiosk ordering which should cut down on some of this but there was only one there was a line when I was there. Also, this issue is not on the business but something diners should be aware of. The area is fraught with homeless persons who beg for change or for you to purchase food for them. We were approached by three separate persons during our visit, once in the parking lot entering the business, once while seated outside eating and once when we were walking out to leave. One of the panhandlers was aggressive and keep screaming at us as we ignored him and I explained I was not buying him anything. Like the burger but not sure it is worth the grief. read more

This place used to be a go-to burger joint but not anymore. Once upon a time, their bacon burger looked very similar to the photograph advertised on Yelp, but not anymore. My entire sandwich was between 1 and 1/2 and 2 in thick. It looked as if somebody had sat upon it. Each bun was about a half an inch thick. Between the buns were two patties of meat, each of which was slightly thicker than a quarter inch. Each was overcooked to death and bone dry. Between the patties were small dots of what was apparently left of cheese. This was topped by a generous portion of overcooked, dry bacon. Nothing else. No lettuce, tomato, pickle or sauce. After two bites, I threw it out because it was inedible. Service was good and friendly, and the onion rings are decent but I cannot recommend this restaurant. read more

One thing I usually require my burger places to offer is my choice of burger temp. Now BurgerFi doesn't offer that but the flavor is good. I went with the CEO green style with lettuce bun. It had Wagyu & Brisket Burger, bacon-tomato jam, Truffle Aioli and swiss cheese. I am a truffle fan so this was right up my alley. We also ordered a side of the urban fries drizzled with parmesan, herbs and a garlic aioli. These were pretty tasty I would have preferred the aioli to be on the side that way I could have the sauce on all the fries under the top layer. And for dessert we spilt a old fashion vanilla shake. Let's face facts, you come to BurgerFi for one reason: mouthwatering gourmet burgers. The dudes in the kitchen don't mess around here, amplifying flavor profiles and utilizing fresh ingredients. My current fave is the CEO Burger, which is composed of a few of my favorite ingredients: Wagyu Beef, Candied Bacon-Tomato Jam, Truffle Aioli, and Aged Swiss. If you're not drooling on your keyboard you don't deserve to eat here, man! I've been known to be a fan of the breakfast burger and their custard concretes.
