Not only are the burgers, veggie burgers and dogs delicious, this place is incredibly family friendly and the staff are fantastic. I lost my keys in the restaurant and couldn't find them anywhere. I finally asked for some gloves to look in the trash, and Dina (the manager) said she would do it for me and found them! I have heard a lot of great things about BurgerFi, but had never eaten there before since the closest one is 40 minutes away from where I live. I finally decided to make the drive after hearing all the hype, and let me tell you it was WELL worth it. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so my friends and I ordered a variety of their specialty fries, a large order of onion rings, and a variety of burgers. The onion rings were absolutely AMAZING. They are huge, but they are not just big because of the fried batter, the onion inside is itself massive. They were absolutely delicious. The fries blew me away. They were the perfect thickness, and somehow crispy and soft. We got an order of regular fries, urban fries, and cajun fries. All three were incredible and I could not stop shoving them in my mouth. One of the best parts of the fries is that each one had its own special dipping sauce that they suggest you pair with it. The garlic sauce was my favorite for the fries, but the BurgerFi special sauce was a close second. Then comes the burgers. Oh my gosh the burgers. They are so much better than your other run of the mill Shake Shack or Five Guys. The meat is such good quality, and the portion sizes are perfect where you are full but don't feel disgusting after eating it. They have a variety of different burgers, and all of the ones we tried had the perfect ratio of bread to meat and other toppings. I first tried the CEO burger which is without a doubt my favorite. It was just mouthwatering and every bite was as good as the first. I then tried the Conflicted Burger, which has one beef patty and one veggie patty. The veggie patty was so good. It was not like a lot of veggie patty's I have had where the filler is all potato or corn. it also was not mushy which is sometimes a problem with veggie patty's. I really enjoyed this half and half idea because it was perfect for someone who wants to try it all but cannot decide. Can't speak for other locations but for a burger chain, this one isn't bad. With that said, I don't necessarily ever sit there and crave Burger Fi. Pretty decent place, although the name is slightly deceiving. The burgers that are supposed to be the main attraction are on the small side. They're built up like towers if you add a lot of extra toppings, but the overall circumference lets it all go in just a few bites. For $5+ for a single burger, it can be better. The area this place really shines in is the sides. Large fries? You get a massive load that's pretty much enough for two people. The onion rings are also really good. Both of these separately cost less than a single burger and give you more bang for your buck. For a quick snack, I highly recommend. If you need a burger, there are better places. read more

I would just like to start off by saying AWESOME I have been eating at BurgerFi for about 3 months now and i completely love it. my boyfriend says im going to turn into a burgerfi cheeseburger lol. This is my first review that i have ever written in my life but i promised someone that i would. there is a fairly new employee there named London. She was AWESOME. My boyfriend and i went in last night to grab a bit to eat before calling it a night and as we walked in we noticed a LONG LONG line and only one cashier working. we decided to stay for a few to see how quick the line would go by and boy did it go fast. to be the only cashier working London was great. she served with a smile, made people comfortable, and assisted with everything that anyone needed. I will definitely be going back during her schedule and to talk to her manager because she is a wonderful asset to burgerfi. 5 stars for burgerfi 10 starts for london make sure you all go eat at burgerfi and if london is on the clock as a cashier make sure you get in her line ! cons : NONE pros : clean, welcoming, GREAT burgers, fries, onion rings and custard. you truly wont be disappointed by burgerfi GREAT resturant read more

Two of us waited 30 minutes for a $30 meal that consisted of 2 extremely well-done burgers that were small enough to be sliders, an order (read: 5) unseasoned onion rings, an equally small and equally tasteless order of fries, and 2 fountain sodas. Realistically, this is probably a 2-star place, but with all the 5-star reviews (which I assume have to be exaggerated, or else we came on the worst night in this restaurant's existence), I needed to at least attempt to bring the average down to what it actually should be. So I feel super conflicted about giving this place 4 stars. As far as I'm concerned, the burgers are five star. Good beef, a little pricey, yummy buns and a lettuce bun option that actually holds up. The toppings are also pretty freakin delicious and anywhere that offers me avocado automatically gets ranked above everyone else. Their fry game, however, leaves MCH to be desired. They have been pretty soggy every time I've ordered, and every time I'm mad at myself for not remembering that they were dissatisfying the first time. The Parmesan snow storm they cover them in does not improve the taste at all. It's overkill and not even that tasty. Alternatively, the huge, crispy onion rings are amazing. My grease-stained guilt only lingers for a day or so after indulging. They onion rings should teach the fries a thing or two about outside crisp ones and inside softness. The selection of adult beverages puts it above other contenders, especially in the MoCo area. The shakes are good, and not an overwhelming number of options. Be sure to ask if your dessert is going to be chunky or not. I'm pretty sure there are coconut flakes and not just flavoring in any coconut-containing items. Plus for some, I just don't like chewing my drinks. Haven't tried the hot dogs, just because they generally kind of freak me out, but if I are hot dogs I'm pretty sure I would eat these. I'm torn - BurgerFi has a good product, but the problem is it's inconsistent. I'm used to Good Stuff Eatery in DC, which is a whole new level compared to BurgerFi. The burgers are ok - the nice part is that they're completely customizable. They two patties are nice to give it a little more heft. The onion rings are fantastic, but they never give enough! Sometimes we get a normal portion and sometimes we get...three. Three onion rings should never be a complete portion. The fries are fine but no Good Stuff Eatery. The aioli is really good, and I'm glad they have that option. The first time we got a chocolate shake, we fell in love. Unfortunately though, that must've been just that one employee's version that was so good. We've never had a shake that good since then, and the last time our shake wasn't even filled to the top (even the whipped cream didn't hit the top of the cup). I probably should've said something, but instead I just went home angry that I didn't get my full portion (when you're going to splurge on a chocolate shake, you at least want a complete shake, right??). So while I'll continue to go back to BurgerFi and hope that it's good, I'm going to try to have much more realistic expectations from now on so that I'm not perpetually disappointed. read more

My husband and I were on our way to grab a quick salad when we stumbled on this spot. We decided to try it out. We ordered a modified CEO and the Veggie burger with a side order of chili cheese fries. Very tasty and awesome ingredients, but the best part was the great service! Afomia was lovely, and Calvin the manager came by our table to make sure we were well satisfied. I'm very picky about burgers and for a good while it was Bobby's Burger Palace or nothing for me. However, being a native Silver Springer, I figured I had to try this place someday. I was pleasantly surprised with BurgerFi. First of all it's never really crowded from my experience, but don't let the lack of people sway you. Their burgers are actually pretty good! The presentation is similar to Shake Shack (metal trays, burgers wrapped in wax paper), but I think it's way better in terms of quality, taste, and portions. They also have a Coke Remix machine so you can get whatever you want, as much as you want (unlike Shake Shack where they give you your drink in those little cups). They have alternate cheese options(!) which is a must for me for any decent burger joint. Their service could be a little faster, but you can tell it's really hot off the grill. The fries are pretty good, too--I've only had them on their own but they have an assortment of toppings for an extra price. I tried their onion rings/fries combo, which wasn't worth it in my opinion (decent onion rings but 3 rings is not worth extra). Their burgers definitely don't feel "heavy" like you need an antacid right after (I'm looking at you, Five Guys) and their toppings have always been fresh. I think it's a wee bit on the pricey side but it's definitely worth it. read more

i've been meaning to try burgerfi for a while and my first impression was ok. husband's bacon-cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato was just the way he likes it. my single bacon-cheeseburger with grilled onions and sauce on side was chintzy on the onions and had no sauce on the side. the fries are delicious. the onion rings are delicious too, but i don't like super big, super wide onion rings because they are too difficult to eat, no matter how nicely cooked. the place was pretty busy at dinnertime on a holiday monday and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. service was good and our order came out in a reasonable amount of time. 3 or 4 big tvs are a bit of a bummer. with the exception of serving beer, i compare burgerfi to five guys for quality, with five guys being the better value for fast-casual burgers and fries. read more

Went here on Thursday before the concert, the service was friendly but the food was lacking. I'm not sure what they are trying to put out but the end result was an over priced product. I had the 28 which was so over cooked it tasted very bitter. I could not taste the dry aged flavor that I was paying for in the burger. Also you have to buy your fries separate. Your meal for two will be much higher then that of five guys or smash burger but not be as good. My take is to pass on them and hope the space becomes available to a better food tenant. read more

This is the first time my friend and I have been to BurgerFi. I usually get let down by many of the burger places into this area. However, BurgerFi is different. All the ingredients are natural and everything tastes so good! There were so many options to choose from. During our first visit, one of the managers named José helped us so much. He helped us find the burger that was best for our needs and even brought our food directly to us. I got the BurgerFi Cheeseburger while my friend got a CEO. We both shared a large fries and I got a Key Lime Concrete. Overall, BurgerFi is a wonderful establishment that everyone who ever comes to Silver Spring should stop by and visit. read more

This is really the best burger you're going to get in the Silver Spring area, but there's so much more to this place than just burgers. The fries are sooo good (get the toppings, it's worth the extra charge), and most importantly, I have to say Burgerfi's shakes are the best I've ever had. The aesthetic is appropriate for pretty much any occasion- a fun date, a casual business meeting, or just somewhere to grab lunch or dinner on your own.
