They were friendly and had good customer service when I walked in, but unfortunately, the single slice of cheese pizza that I ordered tasted like it came out out of the freezer. This was not fresh at all just warmed up. Fresh pizza's cheese usually has a melty texture and pull. The cheese on this was solid, which means it was refrigerated or frozen. I was skeptical about trying this place out because of the previous reviews saying staff were rude. I was craving a cheesesteak sub and I was literally next door to it so I decided to give it a try. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked in. He took my order & told me it'll be ready in 10 minutes. I sat in the car and walked back in the store after 10 minutes and my sub was ready to go. Before leaving, they made sure I grabbed my drink to go. My sub was very good! It was messy with tasty goodness, just how I like my sub lol. The staff was nice and professional. The grill area looked nice and clean so I had no reservations about ordering here. They don't have a place to sit inside so you will either have to stand around to wait for your food or sit in the car. read more

Steak subs are horrible, when did they start loading them up with Spanish seasoning, can't even taste the steak. Two bites and ended up throwing this garbage in the trash. I'm done with Tony's Villa. Very rude went to purchase food card for some reason wouldn't work. The person at the register didnt ask for another card " he demanded that we give him a working card" mind you we just used the same card right next door at the carribean palace, its not what he said its how he said it, need to use a better tone. Tony' Villa has been around and part of my Childhood. I grew up eating there all the time, And now as an Adult I have moved to the DC area. But will always and forever continue to visit Tony's Villa. I am SO glad they are still up and running. Good Job guys!!!! read more

I would normally give them 3 stars but they impressed me. Ordered small pepperoni pizza to go and they were quick and efficient. The guys had s lot of customers in a tiny space but they made it all work tonight. The pizza itself was better then I expected considering its in the heart of Langley park, which is not known to be a culinary mecca. Ample pepperoni and cheese did not disappoint. The small size was note then enough for me, I had 5/8 slices. Nice thin crust and no excessive bread anywhere. The sauce was not overdone and had a good flavor. They use quality cheese which makes or breaks a good pizza. I will say that the cheese slid off the crust a little bit and it was a little greasy, but that comes from the pepperoni. Do not recommend , Gav me the wrong order then got upset when I came back and said it wasn't my food long story short the man began to curse at me and yell at me and told me I needed to pay more which I don't mind doing but I did tip them the first time I came and told them since you want to be so rude just take the money out of the tip I gave you the man began to get extremely mad sat the money down on the counter extremely hard and told me F your tip we don't need it anyway. This review is for the grilled chicken sandwhich... Tasteless, very salty and just plain bad. I had to pay extra just to add green peppers. which were 5 slices or so. Oh I tried their pizza before.. It rather insipid , full of cheese, no sauce, very salty and super greasy. I didn't like it at all. I just placed an order with this establishment, I'm frequent customer so it is really disheartening that I have to write this complaint!! They delivered the wrong sandwich.. I SPECIFICALLY STATED THAT I WANTED A CHICKEN GYRO NO TOMATOES!! Look at the picture they sent the entirely wrong sandwich.. when I called the restaurant back & explained the mistake they MADE .. they TOLD ME THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO even when I stated I was Allergic to tomatoes!!! I ordered a Chicken Salad Sub it came out perfect, it was made just how I like my subs everything on it with extra vinegar, First bite I taste the vinegar JUST HOW I LIKE IT! The juice was good, the menu seems to be very small not much of variety took me a little while to find something of interest, I came due to the fact the Caribbean place was closed and I just decided I wanted a Sub I didn't have one in a loooooonnnnnng While, I ordered he said 10 minutes I went to Starbucks to use the restroom I comeback and it's finished that's what I like to see fast food not at a fast food restaurant the only thing I can say is wrong is the customer service , don't have to fake smile in my face but a hello,Goodmorning/afternoon would be nice and if a person has a stern look on there face it doesn't help either... I haven't stopped by here for a loooong time, but tonight a young cousin of mine from DETROIT (!!!) asked me if I remembered the place where he had the "best sub ever." When he mentioned strip mall and near a college, all of a sudden Tony's came back to mind. And it was the place and this cousin says he holds Tony's subs as the "standard" of all subs (IOW - the best ever). I've had Tony's subs forever and so far back that I can't remember the first time there. I've had corporate lunches served from here - and have NEVER had a bad sub. In fact, their Italian subs are the BEST EVER that I've had. Sure, management has changed and they might have occasional less stellar reviews - but I'll be driving back from Bethesda soon to have another one of the "best ever" subs. 4.5 star rating for this place as of the posting of this review? are you kidding me? seriously, perhaps the worst, no effort, bad ingredients pizza i've had in recent memory. we ordered a mushroom pizza for take out and the first telltale sign of this place's mediocrity was they used those horrible boiled mushrooms from a can for the topping. really??? they lost me there. and on top of that there was no sauce to speak of (good thing maybe because the sauce that was there was underseasoned) and the cheese was just blah... will never, never come here again for pizza. the one saving grace was that their gyro sandwich was passable (but nothing better than you can get at any number of places in the area that also have better pizza offerings). and as i look at some of the other reviews of this place it looks like perhaps subs and sandwiches are their forte. maybe, but i was just so overwhelmingly disappointed in their pizza that i can only muster one star for the place. not recommended. read more

We were going to try this place out but we quickly changed our minds. One of the workers walked in right before we did. He came from the alley way or some random area outside, he was still wearing his apron. I watched closely to see if he would wash his hands.Nope !!! But he did put his hands on the food prep area, and lean all over. After seeing their lack of sanitation we walked out. Been going here for over 20 years and the subs are what i call consistantly great, must have the cold cut or steak and cheese, only place around you can get a real half smoke, the kids love the wing dings, and the prices are excellent when feeding a family of 4, I've tried the pizza, but for me it's all about the subs. read more

I was visiting here in the area and didn't know my way around. Ordered delivery for lunch and they were quick and efficient. The man on the phone spoke really fast and with an accent- but we worked through it! The pizza was good and the sub was as well. One suggestion- toast the buns on your subs. read more
