Regular fries to-go. Mostly over fried greasy bits of what appear to be double dropped pieces. Expected better. Did not tip on this $4.99 order. Related?

I stopped to get burgers for the first time in 5 years and I couldn't believe they are still operating in downtown WPB, and by City Place nonetheless. Let's start with the food: Food was ok. I ordered a burger without tomatoes, it seems they understood no lettuce as well. Fries were burnt and tasteless. Why? Service: servers were kind, sympathetic and attentive with everyone waiting patiently for their food. They now have board games to keep you entertained while you wait for the food. Nice idea! Ambience: Nice ambience, lots of families with kids, and they all seemed to be having a good time. State of restaurant: D-I-R-T-Y!!! That is what was the most shocking to me. If the place is dirty, chances are the bathrooms are disgusting. Sure enough! Not only were they dirty, they were forgotten. Looking at the area where the bathrooms are, it looks like their warehouse. If the bathrooms are dirty, the kitchen will be too. So I took the food I had already paid for and tossed it. I am not getting sick over my craving for burgers.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the food at all. The burger was not tasty, and the fries tasted like they were fried in oil that was clearly not fresh. Overall, the quality of the food was very disappointing.

I'm very impressed with my visit to #Burgerfi. The choice of chicken now on the menu is kool, and very tasty! I strongly recommend the chicken sandwich if you've not yet tried one. You'll be extremely happy! The service is excellent and the food, for a fast food place, is great. This is my new go-to place for both burgers and chicken.

Not a lot of lower priced options in downtown West Palm Beach .. I came recently on a weekday afternoon at this location at the "Square". Since it was Wed, I participated in the hump day deal - buy a beverage and get a cheeseburger for $5 (which is actually the double patty). Wasn't busy, good A/C, friendly staffer, clean tables and bathroom, soda refill machine (the jukebox kind) .. the burger was very good, a smashburger, quality meat, wish it was more juicy. worth a visit if you want a lower priced option in the area.

The CEO and onion rings
Justin S.

I came in just after the lunch rush so it was much quieter than when I walked by at noon. Service was quick, there was a girl working the counter and two self kiosks to keep the line moving quickly. I ordered the CEO wagyu burger with bacon jam and I added bacon and jalapeño and an order of onion rings. The burger meat was okay, it definitely didn't appear to be wagyu although it was loaded with bacon so I was happy about that. The onion rings are delicious and huge! They were definitely better than the burger and tasted like they were freshly battered and not frozen. I even threw one on top of my burger to give it better flavor.

Delicious is all I have to say. Best burger I have had in a very long time. The self service was good and interactive. But the manager( I think, black woman was so friendly and outgoing. I didn't catch her name but she was all over the customer service. That just topped off the experience. Prices are in line with 5 guys so perfect. Thank you, too bad you aren't in Missouri.

The steak was super tender and eggs, again, cooked perfectly. 3) BLTA salad was super refreshing 4) Chicken + waffle -- it was okay. But take the chicken and add it to the salad-- and that was the perfect combo. Dessert: The Mud Pie was the perfect way to end the meal-- though thoroughly stuffed-- it was a top 5 of mud pies! The wait was pretty long but the bar was first come first serve so we hoped to snag a spot there instead. The restaurant itself is tight. It's long but thin and the waiting area is like nonexistent so you're basically all huddling around people's tables. Luckily we were able to get drinks while we waited and the drinks were delicious. I ordered "The Crush" which had green grapes in it. It was so refreshing and delicious!! It's been a couple of weeks since we went and I'm still thinking about how good that drink was. I forgot what my bf got to drink but he enjoyed it as well. Finally some seats opened up at the bar and we were able to sit there and I'm so glad we did. Our bartender, I believe his name was Sam, was on point. Just exceptional service from him. He was great at his job and we also really enjoyed our conversation with him. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the tuna tartare and the Emerald Kale Salad with Rotisserie Chicken. The salad was just so incredible we ordered one to go as well. The food is absolutely worth coming back here for, the tuna tartare was also fantastic. The deviled eggs were okay, but I'm not a good judge for them as I'm not a huge deviled eggs person. Next time we're in the area I need to come back here. So good!!!

My favorite items were the chicken meatballs (perfect texture, with the right amount of spicy mustard) and the prime rib sandwich (the bread was soft, steak was juicy and tender, horseradish was creamy). ALL of our dishes, however, were soooo good, and I'd order any of them a second time! Small seating area inside (just a few tables and bar seats), and they don't accept reservations, so expect to wait a little bit. The inside is dark, with warm lighting and big leather booths; you don't feel like you're in south Florida anymore, it's a northern cozy vibe. Service was nice, but didn't check in often enough (often times having to flag someone down for utensils, plates, etc). I would definitely return here for dinner!!

The cocktails were amazing (the one with Desert pear and compari - i dont remember the name - was exceptional). We got the grilled carrots appetizer and clams. Those. Carrots. While in Palm Beach…read morefor a work meeting, my wife and I made it a point to dine at Buccan after seeing it consistently recommended on Yelp and by locals. After one meal here, it was easy to understand why it's considered one of the most sought-after restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant without feeling overly loud, and the service was polished, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. The menu encourages sharing, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. We started with the lobster aquachile, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The lobster was tender, and the bright citrus flavors paired perfectly with the avocado and vegetables. It was a refreshing and memorable way to begin the meal. Next came the beef empanada and pork taco. The empanada was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked beef and a crisp exterior, while the pork taco packed an impressive amount of flavor into a single bite. Both were excellent examples of why Buccan has developed such a strong reputation for its small plates. One of the highlights of the evening was the squid ink orecchiette. The pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, savory sauce that brought everything together. It was one of those dishes that makes you immediately start planning your next visit. For a larger plate, I ordered the prime beef burger, which was outstanding. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the fries were perfectly crisp. It may seem unusual to order a burger at one of Palm Beach's most acclaimed restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves the attention it receives. What impressed me most about Buccan was the consistency across every dish. Nothing felt like an afterthought. From the creative seafood dishes to the comfort-food favorites, every plate was executed with care and attention to detail. Palm Beach has no shortage of excellent dining options, but Buccan stands out as a restaurant that successfully combines creativity, quality ingredients, and flawless execution. If you're visiting the area, this is a reservation worth making well in advance. Recommended: Lobster Aquachile, Beef Empanada, Pork Taco, Squid Ink Orecchiette, Prime Beef Burger, and don't skip the fries. One of the best meals we had during our trip.

This exclusive location has its own stand alone beauty from its parent the breakers. You cannot go wrong with this location for any special dinner you have planned. The service starts disappointing from the moment you check in. The young women at the front desk are elegantly, dressed in the same color scheme, however, they are extremely standoffish and unpleasant. This is a classic problem in southern Florida. Usually, this is standard service in Miami, but the tendency is not for this kind of service in the West Palm Beach area, specially on Palm Beach Island. We were seated, and our waitress was very pleasant in explaining the menu and offering to get us drinks. We ordered a series of appetizers and several steaks with sides to split amongst four people. We had already investigated the wine list and knew the two wines that we were going to order. Neither of them cheap options, but at least they were on the menu. An extraordinary Pinot Noir and an American Granache blend. As the appetizers came out, we doubled up on one of them and asked for another order. They said that they would bring it right away. This in fact did not happen as the appetizer arrived at the same time as the main course meats. The problem here was that as we went through the appetizer, our meat on the table already pre-cut was getting cold. In addition to this, the steak sauces that were ordered and the vegetables that were also ordered to accompany the meats, did not come at the same time. As a matter of fact, the side vegetable never came. We were in a little bit of a hurry at the end of the meal because we had a train to catch. They were very efficient and offering us a assortment of desserts to make up for the lack of bringing the vegetables. The issue here is, if you are on a protein, vegetable diet, compensating you with a plate full of sweets is not appropriate. If you're like me, I came to this restaurant to eat meat, not to be filled up at the end of the meal with ice cream and cake cakes. I understand that this is a courtesy to show concern on the part of the restaurant management , however, it's disappointing. All of this being said, we must say that the quality of the meat was extraordinary. It's a shame it got cold, and the desired side dishes did not work out. In summary, I would still recommend this restaurant. There are small details that you have to be aware of so you can be on top of the service staff to make sure it doesn't happen to you. Be clear to them at the beginning that you don't want your meal to come out in stages. Bring us our appetizers all at the same time. If you cannot bring them out at the same time, do not bring them with the main courses. Make sure you are clear with them about what you want as your main courses. Take the plunge, try it. On your terms.
