Incredible burger but even better onion rings! I would travel immensely far distances to even have a small taste of these onions rings. You can tell they make them fresh and they are so much better than any other fast food restaurant onion rings. Definitely worth a stop if you're going through bigfork! I had the Flathead Monster Burger and it was very good! It doesn't come with a sesame bun though, I thought that it might be better with one. Then I got the onion rings (best decision ever!) With the house fry sauce. Sauces do cost extra but it's worth it even thought it wasn't the best sauce I've ever tasted but it did taste pretty good! read more

Burgers were hot and everything on it was fresh. The fry's??? So memorable because they too were hot and crispy. Top off your meal with a smooth soft serve ice cream cone. There's a bit of nostalgia associated with Burgertown. But a nostalgia that brings you back to those days when you could eat burgers and not get fat, the kind of reminiscing you do over a milkshake, and the warm Montana sun. The cross-tracks were my favorite, they aren't served anymore, they take too long to cook. But the onion rings are a close second and if you can get someone with you to order fries, then the match is made in heaven...or paradise...in Bigfork. Remodeled years ago now, it is still up to date, and the same as ever. Get the Flathead Monster and my favorite, PB & J milkshake to go and eat it at Wayfarers. You won't be disappointed. read more

A very affordable place for a meal. They are really accommodating on making the burgers how you want them. They also have a few other options for the non burger enthusiast. A good size selection of shakes at reasonable prices. Lots of outdoor seating. The kids liked the place also was able to get the picky vegetarian to try a black bean burger which she liked. Camping at Wayfarer's State Park right across the highway from Burgertown, I just had to give them a try and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the Magnus P*I*G, a burger with ham, a pineapple ring, and teriyaki sauce. It was juicy and delicious! The onion rings were perfectly fried golden brown, although a little heavy on the batter. They paired well with their homemade fry sauce. It's too bad they charge extra for sauces. It would be nice if the first one was included with the meal. They have a good selection of milkshake flavors as well. I hope to eat there again before I leave the area and head for home. read more

Quaint little burger place right outside the village. They are made quickly and very tasty. Great place to go after a night at the Garden Bar. Funny story about this place, we were here on the 4th of July and saw a man in his 60's wearing short cut of jean shorts but the funny part was that the bottom of his pants had elastic holding them up under his knees , so that his thigh was exposed. I believe that this style is going to be on the fall runways....It will be called the Clydesdale look. read more

We have been coming here for many years. I suspect new management took over a few years ago. It is on too of their game right now. Rebecca and I split the Viking. It was very good and enough for the two of us, particularly when we add onion rings and milk shakes. They do really good onion rings. They also do great milk shakes. Rebecca has had a chocolate and huckleberry and I had the butter scotch. Always great with good flavor. We stop in here every year we are out and always enjoy. I called Burgertown on our way to Glacier National Park. I asked if they had parking for 3 rigs. The young lady told us to park in the church down the road. I have to say, It was so Very worth it. We sat out side and did not have to wait long, the place was decently busy but our food was ready quick. We really wish we here longer so we could try more burgers! Today was my first foray to Burgertown this season, and am here to tell you their fries are more on point than ever! I have never finished an entire serving of fries, but I did today. They were salty, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Whoever was working the fryer today was a master. On the only downside, I keep forgetting the Flathead Monster is on the sesame bun, and I'm not a big fan. But the service is always friendly, and I do not fault them for a thing. read more

As a local it is great when this place finally opens! It is small so there is sometimes a long wait but the food is good. It's right across from the lake so you can take it to go and sit at the rocks. Took my family here when they visited and they enjoyed it. Burgers, fries and shakes are always a favorite. read more

We were staying at nearby Wayfarers State Park and we got distracted by time playing in the water all day and had no plans for dinner. So we decided to try a couple of the local places and got pizza from Rosa's next door and shakes and burgers from here. It was super busy for 8:30 pm on a Sunday night, in fact every time we drove by this place was packed and that is why we knew we had to try it before leaving town. Counter staff were busy but friendly and the order was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I don't really like burgers, so the pizza was more my thing, but the Mr loved his burger. I did try the fries and the shakes and they both get my thumbs up! The shakes were a perfect dessert treat after a very warm sunny day!
