I was excited to try Burgerville after reading about it. Was able to make a stop on the way to Portland and it was pretty good food! I got a cheeseburger and my boyfriend got the peppered bacon cheeseburger and they were decent burgers. You could tell the quality of the meat but the bun was a bit too soft for my liking. The best part were the drinks! I got a strawberry lemonade and it was refreshing and not too sweet. Boyfriend got a strawberry milkshake and it was so addictive with chunks of strawberry throughout. Okay, so I went here because of a review from Callie that the burgers are better than In-N-Out, which I'm from California, and when someone says something like that, I have to try. Dear Lord was she wrong. It was not even close, let alone the same ballpark, as In-N-Out. The burger was alright, but it was expensive and not worth the money. One star for non-consistency in pricing. Everytime I go thru the drive-up window they charge me a different price for the original hamburger kids meal. A few times they charged $4.65 for original hamburger (one patty), small fry, and a drink. Other times they would charge $5.53 or $5.19 for the same meal. Today it was $6.02. When I called to complain about the price variances, Brandy, the "manager" (more like mis-manager) told me yes, the child size drink, fries, and hamburger were $5.53. Why did they charge me $6.02 then, I asked. Oh, yes, it would be $6.02. HUH? She just changed the price to fit her story. Extremely poor customer service. Very poor employee training. They should charge the same price each time. And have an adult on staff who knows the pricing and who doesn't have to guess. read more

Then tuck into a pretty good burger with good local cheese and fixin's, some authentic as they come fries and slurp back that real milkshake. Just don't look at the bill when you pay. I don't mean that because you will be paying a lot-- they print out the freakin' calorie count for your meal and eeeeeek it is SCARY! I can't say it enough...I LOVE BURGERVILLE. I grew up going here and continue to come back when I'm in town. Quality ingredients are one of the keys to it's success. Plus they use local ingredients (Tillamook Cheese, Gardenburger, etc). I am a huge fan of their seasonal items, especially the milkshakes. I don't eat much fast food. Burgerville is one of very few exceptions. I long for the day that the Burgerville Empire extends north of Centralia but I don't think that's happening anytime soon. read more

Local, fast food. What a concept. A fast food chain trying to best conscious of it's surroundings. They use local ingredients including walla walla onions, tillamook cheese, local beef, and beers... My meal was great and the menu is fun. They have many options that your standard fast food joints don't have. It gives you many reasons to return to explore the different menu items. read more

A trip to Vancouver isn't complete without a trip to Burgerville. I wanted to order one of their seasonal shakes, but I decided to save my calories for lunch only. I ordered the half pound colossal cheeseburger. It was the northwest take on the double double and very filling. Hubby ordered the chicken strips and fries. The chicken strip looked like fish sticks with it's smooth batter and long strips, but they were moist and delicious chicken. Fries were crispy and salted well. For "fast food" this place is tops! Fries were very good, no salt added Burger was a bit on the greasy side and I don't care for mayo on my burger, but otherwise really good. Chocolate Cherry shake tasted good as well, just be weary of the calories!!! Also, the calorie count on the receipt was also refreshing. read more

Probably the worst service I've ever had at a Burgerville. Took my order (drive thru), paid, sat and waited 10 minutes for them to tell me that they ran out of beef so I'd have to park and wait additional 10 minutes. So 20 minutes total waiting, they bring me my bag, I leave. I get home and find out I didn't even get what I asked for, nor a receipt to go and return it. I went back to Burgerville to try out a full on meal. and to be honest. I was not impressed. I got the Low Fat Grilled Chicken sandwich. It had no flavor and it was not cooked very well :/ The fries were good but I also got a small order of Sweet Potato Fries andddddd those, terrible. They weren't flavorful and just kinda salty. I was really surprised at how bland the food was because everyone told me to go there because it's so good! Not fun. The employees are friendly. Food is as good as any other Burgerville. They did forget my fries and BBQ sauce on in the drive thru, but mistakes happen. They quickly corrected it. This location does not necessarily stand out from others, but I also have no complaints. Would recommend. read more

I just moved out here and I'd seen these all over the place so I had to try it. I was thinking it would be similar to In-N-Out Burger and it turned out being In-N-Out on steroids. Lots of choices, including seasonal items. I love how you can taste the Tillamook cheese in every bite. I saw they had onion rings so I ordered those even though I was hesitant because an order of onion rings is only 3 rings. But, they're HUGE onion rings. Worth it. I also decided to splurge and get a shake. Chocolate cherry shake... AMAZING. All in all, I really enjoyed the food. Downfall was how expensive it is for fast food. OK, I'm used to good quality from Burgerville (and I know that its going to be more expensive, cause when you go to Burgerville, you gotta have a shake). The rosemary fries were small and almost none in the container. There were burnt fries in with the fresh ones - what does that tell you? I got leftovers thrown in with the fresh and they didn't care. The Rosemary chicken sandwich - should have been good, it wasn't. The bun was dry and so was the chicken. The lettuce was wilted and old. For some reason on the milkshakes mine had whipped cream and my daughters didn't. All in all this was one disappointing visit and really, don't think I'll be back (at least to this one). read more

My rating is 100% about customer service. Travis is ALWAYS fantastically friendly whenever we visit, so much so that even my husband mentioned it to me. (Not in that fake customer service way a lot of people suffer from, he's just genuinely nice. If he's faking it then this kid belongs in Hollywood!) We have yet to talk to anyone here that has made us feel less than how we do now, and it hasn't happened yet. Burgerville food is Burgerville food. You go there for a reason, it's top-notch compared to other fast food joints. I've only had a handful of bad experiences with this company in general in... my entire life of eating here, (over 20 years) and never at this location. Best fast food experience EVER! As soon as we walked in the door Mike made eye contact with us and smiled, ready to take our order. I grew up here and now live in Colorado, so I miss my Burgerville! He made conversation with me about Colorado and took my order. He was so nice!! The fries are HOT! Even until the last fry!!! The burgers are amazing and everyone in the Pac NW knows why!! We were craving a burger and all those big national chains are just gross. Thankfully the Burgerville sign appeared on the horizon at just the right time. My burger was great. Yummy Tillamook cheese and the best part for me... sweet potato fries!! My wife really enjoyed her burger and just raved over the Blackberry milkshake. Over all I really like this restaurant, however it didn't garner the 5 star rank because as good as the burgers were they didn't quite compare to the burger at the Boll Weevil in Augusta, GA. My family and I have eaten at Burgerville in downtown Portland, OR several times and really enjoyed it. Recently, we were shopping for a car and stopped into this Burgerville. I was not only impressed by the pleasant service (a Burgerville staple), but they had an amazing play area, filled with books and toys. I commented on this to the server who brought our food to the table and she mentioned that the newest GM is a mother who thought they could do better with their play area, so they did. i like and value everything Burgerville stands for but a recent visit for a double burger was a sad experience. I didn't know a beef patty could be so thin and so expensive. I go once a year to support them. I would go more often if i thought the burgers were any good or a value. I've been to the Burger Lounge in Carlsbad, Ca, a So Cal chain, and they also serve organic grass fed beef and their burgers are juicy, flavorful, tasty. A very nice vibe inside. Burgerville should take a look at that chain. I also suspect that Vancouver WA demographically cannot support an upscale burger chain and Burgerville tries to square the circle with their offerings. read more

I think the food is good and I have always gone to only this particular burgerville because I have always got good quality and they never mess up your order. Its always hot and fresh. But the bacon is really mushy and fatty. Its not crunchy like it should be. It is rubbery. I don't know if this is because of how it is being Cooked or held. Or if the quality just sucks. I recommend getting your chicken sand which or burger without Bacon and adding your own. But beyond that I have nothing bad to say. Also the original cheeseburgers don't come with pickles but if you request them they are free! read more

I worked at Burger ville for 1 year during my senior year of high school. That was almost 20 years ago. I still eat there all the time. I love Burgerville. To this day I can eat my cheese burgers! It says a lot to say that you worked somewhere, seen how they run things in the back and would still go there every day, especially for fast food. When I worked there, you could tell the food was high quality, especially the meat which looked just like the same ones you would by for your home grill at Cosco.
