When…read moreI called this morning to find out how long basic service, no issues would take (mainly wanted blades sharpened), a young woman answered. When she said they were 3 weeks out, I admitted I intended to bring it in Jan but forgot and she laughed. I said they just lost some business. She retorted, "You don't have to be so rude." I thought I must've misunderstood her, that she could've been saying to bring it in & she'd sweet-talk one of the guys to do mine today. She mistook my silence for being too stupid to understand her, so she repeated accentuating her words, "Hey! You. Don't have to be. So. Rude." At that point, I was stunned and still thinking about an appropriate thing to say when she said it again loudly, "HEY!" repeating "HEY! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SO RUDE!" When she started the same thing up again, I hung up. I have recommended this company when asked about lawnmower repairs & service. Hadn't had a bad experience until today. Checked Yelp reviews & realized it wouldn't be worth my time to speak to the Owner because it seems the young woman answering the phone represents the attitude of management & staff. So, I will not be wasting my time nor money with this company again.

I have been a loyal customer for 18 years, bringing my 14k Scag Wildcat 61" to you and only you for every bit of warranty work and service since 2008. That loyalty clearly meant nothing. The service charges have become predatory, but I hit my limit when your shop's negligence cost me a fortune in repairs a year ago. Even then, I tried to give you another chance this year. That was a mistake. When I dropped the mower off, management explicitly told me "no worries" regarding getting it off the trailer. What followed was a month of pathetic excuses. The Delay: A promised two-week turnaround turned into a month of silence. The Excuse: You called me to pick it up because you "couldn't move it," claiming your 50-year-old repairman has a bad back. The Reality: I am 78 years old. I have two knee replacements and multiple health conditions. It is pathetic that a professional repair shop couldn't figure out how to move a mower that I--at nearly 80 years old--managed to load onto a trailer by myself with a jack and some tools in about an hour. Your "management" is a joke and your service is non-existent. After 18 years of supporting your business, you can consider this relationship terminated. You can all kiss my ass. And I will no longer be bring anything to you for service, or send anyone your way! 18 yrs really.

They delivered my new mower today and it unexpectedly had an issue starting. The delivery guy, David, was very professional and apologetic before returning the mower to the shop. I assumed my mowing day was wasted and it would be at least two days before I could start. To my surprise, my new mower was brought back within the afternoon . It started right up, ran like a champ and cut perfectly. My hat is off to David and his superb customer service. Plus the entire experience working with Israel and the front desk staff was friendly and informative. They were very patient our multiple "old people" questions. My wife and I are extremely pleased with this purchase.

Big caution here. I took my equipment in for a tune up, sharpening, and repairs. A lawn mower, a…read morepower washer, and a multi tool trimmer. We were told: 1: we would have their evaluation by Wednesday of the same week. 2: they would count the deposit towards the work being done if we had them do the repairs. 3: they would let me know the estimate and get my approval before doing any actual repairs. I call on Wednesday to ask about the evaluation and estimate. I'm told they were having some issues and had not started any evaluation yet. They then told me that they would have it by Thursday or Saturday of the same week. I call on Monday since they NEVER call me. I'm told that they had only done the assessment on the mower, gave me a quote that was $240.00 additional. They then asked is I wanted them to start the repairs. I told them no, not until I had the estimate on the other two pieces of equipment. They then had my equipment for 10+ days since I took it in, so I decided to go back into the shop and check on things. I'm told right from the start by the gentleman behind the counter that they had not gotten to the other two pieces of equipment. I tell them I will just take my equipment with me and they can refund my deposit on the equipment they hadn't reviewed or worked on yet He goes back to the back room to get them, 1 piece at a time. Magically he then tells me both have been evaluated, repaired, tuned and are ready. Remember point 3 no actions on the equipment until I had the estimate. Wrong! No they are charging me for the "work" they said they completed just then, that wasn't done when I walked in. The result: 1: All three pieces of equipment are still filthy, no sharpening on any blades. 2: what was done? Replaced 2 spark plugs, replaced 2 air filters, greased the trimmer, changed the oil in the power washer. They never had the parts to repair the mower. 3: Cost? $300 for a 10 day wait. Parts that cost less than $50. Labor at $125.00 per hour and still filthy equipment that is dull. Lesson: a fool and his money are soon parted. I trusted LSM and was a fool for it. I will NEVER again buy or get services from LSM. Learn from my mistake and save yourself the money, frustration, and in my opinion the fraud that they do at LSM.
