Stopped in to get a fuel line that I couldn't find in Alverado They were so nice and helpful!!

Have used Motor & Mower Supply periodically over the years since I moved to Burleson in 1979. When I called this morning to find out how long basic service, no issues would take (mainly wanted blades sharpened), a young woman answered. When she said they were 3 weeks out, I admitted I intended to bring it in Jan but forgot and she laughed. I said they just lost some business. She retorted, "You don't have to be so rude." I thought I must've misunderstood her, that she could've been saying to bring it in & she'd sweet-talk one of the guys to do mine today. She mistook my silence for being too stupid to understand her, so she repeated accentuating her words, "Hey! You. Don't have to be. So. Rude." At that point, I was stunned and still thinking about an appropriate thing to say when she said it again loudly, "HEY!" repeating "HEY! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SO RUDE!" When she started the same thing up again, I hung up. I have recommended this company when asked about lawnmower repairs & service. Hadn't had a bad experience until today. Checked Yelp reviews & realized it wouldn't be worth my time to speak to the Owner because it seems the young woman answering the phone represents the attitude of management & staff. So, I will not be wasting my time nor money with this company again. read more

Great place-! highly recommended for new & repairs- Very friendly knowledgeable personal service.

Took quite a while to get my riding mower serviced but it's the middle of summer so I expected that. And they told me there was a waiting list. They rebuilt the carburetor, did an entire service, washed it, leveled the deck, put on new blades, replaced filters, greased all the appropriate parts. Did an excellent job!! Feels like a new mower. read more

I would give them lower if I could. Picked up my mower and charged me $75 for pick up and return. I told them it wdnt start and yo fix what it needed. Two weeks later they deliver it and right off it wdnt start. Charged me $193 to put a new starter on it. So I had to call another company to fix my mower. Number 1 they didn't even put a new starter on it; but that wasn't even the problem. The carburetor was bad. Don't waste your money!!! read more

Never will use ever! Just called the main line and asked to speak about trouble shooting an Ignition coil on a Kawasaki FX motor. After a 3 minute hold a service representative was asked to come on to assist. He seemed pleasant, and we spoke of various options, types and contraindications of non-motor specific coil applications. This exchange with the service tech lasted just shy of 4 mins. He could not provide the ohms of resistance expected for testing the coil, only to state that they "motor & mower" replace if no spark. I said "thank you for the information", although he had not provided any that I could or would use in trouble shooting my engine's coils. He asked it I wanted to order the part and I responded "no thank you, I would be using PartsTree.com as I have an account with them." To this he responded with "So you call me and waste my time , you are some kind of asshole" then proceeded to hang up. So, don't waste your time. read more

I had been looking online and at other stores for some old mower parts and within minutes of walking in, they had everything I needed to get both my mowers up and running! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff/mechanics. read more

A friend recommended them to work on our lawnmower. We had tried to fix it ourselves but no such luck. We had all the pieces together and took it in and saved them labor. But the rude gentleman working there made a snide comment of us bringing it in pieces. Then they put a new blade on when that was not even our issue or call to ask if it is ok to change it. Rather than argue we paid our bill and left. We will never return or recommend them to anyone!!! read more

Took my mower in for a tune-up & blade sharpening. Told them when I took it in the air filter was clogged. They called me two weeks later & said it would not start without spraying starter fluid in it & then it wouldn't stay running. They wanted $180 for a carb rebuild for a $200 mower. I said sharpen the blade & I will come get it. I knew it started everytime. The dummies didn't remove the clogged air filter which is basic! Picked it up bought an air filter & when I got home started it & let it run for an hour with no problems. They kept my $30 deposit. I asked why since they did absolutely nothing! The answer from this owner idiot: we had to pull the cord to start it & make an estimate. An estimate for work I said I did not want! I told them I wanted no work done. He told me tough luck they are keeping my deposit! They were incompetent, rude & they stole my money! Use anybody else these people are crooks! read more

Very horrible service. Both Eric the mechanic and Rodney the owner raised their voice and made a scene instead of addressing a problem they created by not returning equipment in the condition it arrived. A tiller was brought in to have the belts replaced. The fuel switch was off when the tiller was left. When the tiller was picked up the fuel switch was left on. Now the tiller won't start due to the carburetor having fuel set in it. When approached with the problem, I was told that the gas valve didn't need to be turned off. When I asked why it states in owners manuals to shut it off I was told it was a suggestion. Rodney even accussed me of not having the right carburetor until I pointed out he was the one that replaced the engine. I'm still trying to find out what the $8 oil and gas charge was if the oil wasn't changed and there was less than a gallon of fuel in the tank. This is not the first time I have had problems with this shoddy business. But it will be my last! Buyer beware of this location. It is a perfect reflection when the owner points blame makes lame excuses and refuses to show customer service all while berating a customer. The other small engine repair business on the otherside of 35 or the location off of 1187 are much better with truly helping customers. read more
