There are holes in the walls and floors, windows are NOT dual pane, the electrical set up is a mess, they have the outlets on opposite sides of the room, so cords are all over the ground. The staff seems overworked or just lazy, I'm not sure which... maybe both. Call lights go unanswered for hours. My Dad is a 2x stroke, 1x heart attack patient that needs to be checked on regularly but every time he calls no one comes for a good bit of time. They don't care if you stare at the wall all day because no one wants to turn the tv on. Even though they know my Dad is completely disabled and can not do anything himself. When you walk into the lobby, it is bright, cheerful, welcoming and happy. All the caregivers are smiling, saying hello, and are happy to serve the residents. My Aunt loved the food and we enjoyed many meals there as well. Although my Aunt's stay was very short due to health issues, we would definitely consider going back to the Trousdale in the future for our senior family members.

We placed my father on hospice after almost twisting my stepmother's arm. She thought hospice meant…read moresaying our goodbyes -- but instead, we gained so much from it. Within just a few days, his bed, table, and caregivers were in place, and support began immediately. Nurse Jamie, a skilled and compassionate male nurse, connected with my father right away. The caregivers also formed an instant, warm bond with my stepmom, who could no longer care for him on her own. Their kindness brought comfort and stability to our whole family. After 8-9 months of their attentive care, my father began eating again, walking, and truly thriving -- at 96 years old. He improved so much that he no longer qualified for hospice. My sister and I were incredibly impressed by how quickly they acted and how lovingly they cared for him during such a vulnerable time. Thank you to Jamie and the caring staff at ANX -- our family is forever grateful.

San Bruno skilled nursing is a fantastic facility for anyone that's going through recovery after…read moresurgery, or any other ailment. I stayed there for 2 months after having a major surgery as well as a different surgery I had in 2022, and I must say I had a great experience both times! The staff is incredible! The CNAs work so hard, they dedicate so much effort, and patience, and care like genuine care to every patient they have, and are so kind! The nurses are equally amazing and dedicate just as much. I didn't experience one day where the nurses or the CNAs didn't have me smiling and do what they could to make me feel good when I had hard times. The next thing I want to mention is the physical therapy. The physical therapists each and every one is absolutely incredible! They take the time to listen to their patients, they don't push their patients to do more than they can do, they're always encouraging, smiling, and happy to see you each and every session! I can't say enough about them as well. The administrator Daniela is an amazing woman! She is the reason why I was able to be there in the first place and every time I saw her she was smiling and happy and caring. Just a beautiful person. The only slightly negative that anyone could say and it's very small is that yes like all other facilities the food could be a little bit better, but for what it is it's actually the best I've had in all of the facilities I've stayed at. But that's so small compared to everything else a patient can get staying at San Bruno skilled nursing. It really is the staff, Daniela, and all of the physical therapists that make a patient stay there worth it. So if anyone out there has a family member that is going through a tough time and needs that extra help, or recovering from any surgery I highly highly recommend they stay at San Bruno. It might be a little far from where you're located, but trust me when I say it's worth it. San Bruno skilled nursing facility is Fantastic! When we walked the halls, staff from every department would greet us, it was sweet. ok, now about the care... Like all SNF's San Bruno is crowded with clients and staff can only do so much. But, I found that from the cleaners to the nurses, skilled or unskilled, the staff genuinely try their best to give every client the attention they need. Some need much more than others . I was there 5 to 10 hours a day, and got to see how things work. I found that clients with family to assist probably got their needs met quicker. And, the families are encouraged to visit their loved ones. I was welcomed at 7:00AM no restrictions... the outside visiting areas are relaxing. There are lots of airplanes but it's San Bruno so you expect that. I like this facility because it is a family of staff, all working together to help the clients. Even when we were leaving one of the aids came running up to us saying good bye, and she wasn't even working our room ! And, if there are issues Joe and his team do their darnedest to get it resolved. So go team San Bruno SNF , we'll probably see you again !!!

I had home health from Health Flex in March and April this year. And, have used them multiple times…read morein the past decade. Home health has changed for the worse the past few years, yet Health Flex is among the better ones still! Communication and a few scheduling issues were not great. Especially a person misconstruing clear written communication and coming on the wrong day, then telling me repeatedly they would do a "missed visit" for their blatant mistake. Also, administration not returning calls, addressing urgent concerns, or being communicative aside, the rest of my experience was great. All the practitioners were compassionate, kind, and helpful. Shout out to Carlo/PT and Matt/OT who welcomed my questions as someone doing PT for almost 20 years, they both not only understood my neurologically complex conditions, also how to work around them to get me stronger and more stable. Also, thanks to Twinkle, the nurse and Elia the social worker.
