Rude lady at the fitting rooms on a power trip. Lady at the entrance door who is welcoming people is very nice and example of what great customer service is. Lady at the fitting rooms on the other hand on a power trip or just looking for an occasion to be rude to people. I walk in to the fitting room and she calls me back with a not friendly tone, then she lectures me on how I should tell her about my items out of respect and continues to lecture me about not to leave hangers inside, etc. I had not done this before and her tone and look were not friendly at all. I decided I wasn't going to let her ruin my day or my shopping so I just followed along. Lady is definitely on a power trip and who knows what other motives. I understand all those rules but I have no idea if different places and different burlingtons all have different ways, plus she was on a full blown conversation that and many other times, but even if she might have been "doing her job" at the end of the day I'm the customer and definitely don't appreciate being lectured especially for stuff I had not done before such as not leaving the hangers inside. The first time I had walked in she wasn't even on her post so I have no idea why she started acting like I was ignoring her presence. I'm super please at how clean the store was, how helpful the employees seemed, and how the store was actually presentable! I'm sure COVID-19 has everyone eager to open and retain business but, this impression is impactful. I wish you would keep all these things are you continue to remain open. 1. Clean store. The store actually looked clean. Mopped. Didn't smell funny like it usually does. Everything looked presentable. And actually up to par to a nice store I'd want to shop at. Don't get me wrong. I come here to get everything I could ever need for a brunch date, night out with the girls, or job interview. But the store's ambiance makes me want to GET IN AND GET OUT. 2. The employees ! Although the line to check out was so long ( I legit grabbed the couple of items I needed and left after seeing the line wrapping into the aisles, haha not worth it!!! And I left without purchasing anything ) there were plenty of people who worked there that were tidying up. Looking helpful. And actually looked friendly. I can't tell you how much I cringe when I need to ask someone for help finding something because I get that, "ugh I guess I'll help you because it's my job" look and attitude. So, it was refreshing to have them all there with smiles and being friendly. 3. Wow!!! The inventory looks amazing! I'm a woman so of course the put the woman's section right in front! OH MY GOSH LEGIT HEAVEN AND I AM BY NO MEANS A SHOPPER!!!!! Like, alllllll the bags were out and coordinated!!!! I wanted them all just due to the fact that they were presented the RIGHT WAY! The jewelry was SUPERB!!! Everything actually had a match, didn't look cheap, and I wanted it all! The clothes... I appreciate how neat it all was. I truly do. But Burlington. I can't see the shirts when you stuff 150 shirts on a row that only calls for 90. I need some space guys.. cmon on.... Overall, I'll be back when it seems the lines are manageable. I have a real love/hate relationship with Burlington, I must admit. This particular BCF is somewhat unkempt. Dirty, aisles cluttered, unfriendly staff. So what do I love? when I have the free time, I enjoy walking through the clearance aisles to see what treasures I can find. NEVER miss these aisles because you can find some great prices. For example, I found some wall art for our new home that was exactly what I was looking for, and at a fantastic price. I have also discovered holiday coffee pods at unbeatable prices. SCORE! Now just as a warning, the clearance aisles are a mess, a real mess. Kids have thrown toys on the floor so it is quite difficult to maneuver. Take a deep breath and find your inner patience because it can be worth it! read more

I was in the area one Saturday and decided to stop in to see what treasures I could find. I wasn't looking for anything in particular so I just kinda of browsed the aisles. This seemed to be a busy location but there was still room to move around. The staff was friendly and helpful. We all know this is not a "high end" shopping experience so be prepared to deal with the screaming kids who are running around playing hide and seek in the racks, lol. If you're looking for home goods for a good price just pack your patience and check them out. read more

Burlington Coat Factory is like Marshalls on a diet as we all know. This store is huge and there are lots of items to choose from. However selection and organization could improve. As usual the lines can be long at times. Customer service was good. Don't expect nothing special but there is always that diamond in the rough. read more

Well, where to start? I am not the type to shop in these big warehouse type retailers but I needed a warm winter snow coat for Germany and "the man" suggested Burlington. What do I know, I've never bought a coat for practicality sake...only because it looks stylish. So off I go to Burlington, overwhelmed by the mess of coats lined on the racks, smashed together with no rhyme or reason. I finally find an outer rack with some Michael Kors coats, after a try, I agree on it and buy it, pack it and ship it to Europe. Well, I find myself back in Texas sooner than later and unpack the coat to wear for the first time on a "cold" Dallas night...which is nothing compared to Germany. I am FREEZING so I take it back to the store, tell them the whole true story and was rudely cut off before I could finish telling them why I was returning it. They tell me they can't accept the coat but could offer me a discount on a new coat. I agree and off to look for a new coat. This is why I get pissed. The manager sends someone to find me in the store to ask for the coat (the one they wouldn't accept for a return), I ask why and they say so that I don't steal or switch it for another coat. I WAS PISSED. Said no, put it on and kept shopping. When I didn't find a coat, I went to the front and asked for corporate's number. So corporate provided awesome customer service (hence the two stars). Long story short, corporate helped me resolve the situation to my satisfaction. Unfortunate for the store, I will NEVER shop here again after being so poorly treated. There are so many other equally priced alternatives with better customer service that I do not need to spend my money at a retailer that doesn't value their customers. read more

So I hadn't been back since last time and I don't know why I went today. Actually I do. It's because I was desperate. Unfortunately there aren't many choices one has when they are pregnant and BCF has a descent selection of maternity wear. After trying to find affordable cute clothes I decided to give this BCF another shot. Well I was happy that I found a couple of cute tops but it all went downhill at checkout. There has been this "older lady" who has work there for years and when I see her I try to avoid her at all costs! She is slow. Really slow. Unfortunately there wasn't another cashier open and I got stuck with her...again. I was hoping this time it would be different and she would be a little faster. Of course it wouldn't work out that way. Ask me why I was in line for 22 minutes when there was only two people in front of me. Was there a missing price or something that made the wait so long? No. She was just scanning and taking her sweet precious time. She didn't care that her line was backed up. Avoid this place. This place is horrible! And if you read this BCF...get rid of her! I won't be coming back here. I learned my lesson! read more

I hate having to do this but it just annoys me getting such poor customer service.I drove about about 20 minutes to get to Burlington Coat Factory which is now Burlington only but when you look it up on Google it takes you to this location and lo and behold I arrived there and there is maybe one rack of coats.! That was not the worst part of it all. when I get to the register after finding a few other things I needed but I'm meant to buy at a different store, I step up to a cashier named Rachel, she starts ringing my items but then the so-called manager comes up to her and they start talking about work-related issues but it stops Rachel from being able to finish up with me efficiently and quickly and let me be on my way.so they are chit chatting along and I noticed that she double rang me with an item and when I was about to mention it to her she raised her hand as if shutting me up and stopped me in the middle of my sentence and said "I know I'm fixing it" which was so rude. When I ask who the manager is she pointed to the woman standing next to her. I told her I think she should speak to whoever she needs to in order for them to change the way they are marketing themselves online or on Google Maps whatever it may be. Her response was (more or less) that has nothing to do with me you can call corporate if you want to. Basically she couldn't care less for my dissatisfaction. Now Idid find a few things i needed and i think the store offers good deals on other things but bad customer service, to me, akways overcomes the need to purchase items at a certain location.. I've taken two trips to this BCF in the last few months, so I thought I'd let you know how it is. As far as the women's and girls' clothing is concerned, there isn't much to offer. There were plenty of school uniform gear, but not much else for children's clothing. The shoe dept. has some better options, especially for men's dress shoes. They have Steve Madden and Skechers, as well as some popular sneaker brands. The home department is also well-stocked. I purchased a painting there that I am quite happy with. There are lots of purses and accessories, too. As far as service goes, it's pretty typical. It's worth checking out every once in awhile to find a good buy. read more

The idea of shopping at a retail store, is to look around and see what you find. Not to be followed around and harassed by the store manger asking you (the customer) personal questions and phone number. Thomas i believe his name was, wouldn't stop following me around the store. He was so annoying, he would not let me shop in peace. He kept asking me personal questions, wanted my phone number and telling me unnecessary stuff without me even asking him. I just want to shop in peace and not be followed by a horny creepy old guy. Never again ! Will never shop here again. It was disguising and beyond dirty. The employees are not friendly by any means. Poor customer service and they have no respect for customers who are trying to give them money. I put my merchandise down and walked out. I usually could care less about customer service, but they managed to really piss me off about how they treat customers, and not just me,I witnessed many poor interactions. Also I felt like it was a safety hazard being in that store. There were ladders all over the place blocking shelves and isles. Let me just say...I have NEVER been so insulted in my life while trying to shop in this pissy smelling piece of trash of a store! I went with my mom today to pick out swimsuits for the beach. We went into the big dressing room in the back, you know, the one suited for two people since it has two sides with two mirrors. In the middle of changing this girl says that we have to get out & that there is only one person per dressing room. WTF? Really...well if that's the case, why have a double dressing room? I tell her that she has to wait until we finish changing and to stop looking under the door. She has the nerve to call loss prevention! GTFOH! I have never stolen anything in my life and I'm sure that I make more that her and the loss prevention guy put together x2, so of course this just sets me over the edge! The loss prevention guy tries to explain but my point is, why have a double dressing room if 2 people cant go in it? They basically tried to accuse us of lying but after I had to go all the way bad on them, they left us alone. Can we say trashy employees? Apparently they are used to people trying to steal but hello...I have no reason to! On TOP of all that...the store is a complete mess! And it's dirty! And let's not forget that fermented urine smell! I felt completely dirty just being in that store! The employees are RUDE and I wish I would have gotten their names so that I could turn them in properly! Needless to say...I will be forwarding this to corporate as well. But I just wanted to alert you all of just how NASTY this store and their employees really are!
