Family decided to shop around here for some deals. It's a large space with security at the front, since there's been cases of shoplifting. There's lots of clothes and few workers on the floor to assist you for a price check or find a particular section of the store. Aisles and racks of clothes from known brands like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. The one thing was that the store had a horrible musky scent throughout the store, whether from the old age of the space or the carpet floor hasn't had a thorough cleaning in a while. There were two cashiers open when we began waiting and then one closed to go on break, even though there was a line of customers wrapped around the aisles. Curious why a store like this is still even open. I went in yesterday (2/9) with my service dog and got stopped in my tracks by the clown they had working as "loss prevention". Completely untrained and straight up rude. He approached us and simply said "hey the mall doesn't allow dogs anymore" I tried explaining he was a medically trained dog and he had zero clue what I was talking about. I continued to walk into the store and I suddenly realized I don't want to give my money to a place that treats people that way. I turned around and told him that it wasn't even worth it and left. No other store at that mall in the 2+ years I've been going in there with my dog has ever said anything. Congrats ! Keep it up and you'll be out of business by end of this year. read more

If possible , I would rate this store a generous zero stars . Everytime I'm here it's always 1/ 2 people at the register cashing the customers. Average wait time is close to 2 freaking hours to pay for your stuff irrespective of the day of the week . when there are many employees , they are busy picking up stuff and arranging the aisles . This store has amazing collection. We visited this store quite a bit in 2021 and early 2022 and we could find a lot of great items at great prices. Baby items and clothing are usually found at a bargain here. Children clothing is also found at a bargain and usually they have a huge variety to select from. The store gets very crowded in the afternoon so go in early to avoid the rush. Staff is friendly and they make sure to move the lines faster. But you might end up waiting for sometime in the line if you go later in the day. Parking is plenty and they have two entrances: one from the mall and other from outside. Overall a great place to find a huge variety of products at bargain prices. Highly recommended! read more

When getting there to the store, everything was fine, but once we enter the line to pay, the line was extremely long we waited almost about a whole hour and just in line there was only two register people, but I did see there was multiple people on the floor. I feel as a business they should always direct those people at the line to help customers in and out. This is the update: Burlington store manager and the cashier Huang at Great Mall location on Jan-2-24 kept saying "We cannot take it back because we cannot resell it". I did not want to waste time with them so I went to another location and was treated very nice. The other location of Burlington took the return and refunded me. Bottom line: it is not Burlington's policy that the item cannot be returned but the problem is the attitude of 2 persons at Great Mall locations: cashier Huang and store manager. They took it so personally and got a bad attitude towards shoppers who return items. They ruined Burlington's reputation and I strongly suggest that they need to be retrained! read more

I used to work at this Burlington, they wouldn't give me hours. I would only work one or two days a week only for 4 hour shifts even though I was a seasonal cashier. But apparently they did that because I would be let go anyways. I would even offer to stay longer when the lines were long to help but they wouldn't let me. read more

My mom dragged me here one Saturday. Actually I drove her. My plans for that day was sort of ruined when she called to ask me for a favor - since her car was in the shop she was wondering if I can take her grocery shopping. After grocery shopping we were here. I had no intention of buying anything but I saw a few nice shirts for Gavin. I had to. We both love dinosaurs. As I was still browsing Gavin found a hat and tie that he asked me to buy. I couldn't say "no". Lines moved fast. Friendly cashier. Like a fancier Ross. Moral of the review: be a good son or daughter and do whatever it takes to be there for your parents, help them, make them happy, make them feel proud... I'm here with my girlfriend to return things that she bought and the line is miles long with only one register open. Two people left the line because of how long people were standing in line for. I lost count after 15 minutes. And the one person that is ringing people up is taking forever to get it rung up. I shopped for over an hour and filled an entire cart with clothes, only to find out the fitting room was closed. After carefully making my selections, I walked over to the registers to find what appeared to be 60 people in line. The line was slow. While standing in line, I asked an employee if I could place my items on hold and she pointed me to an area to do so. In that area I was told I could not place anything on hold, and at that point I had already lost my place in line. I left the store leaving behind a cart filled with hundreds of dollars of items. This was a complete waste of my time and a loss of revenue for the store. I don't like to write bad reviews and I felt compelled to write this because I don't want others to find themselves in that situation. The customer service / management is absolutely horrible. One of the employees was incredibly rude. Burlington, at minimum you could post the fitting room hours at the store entrance and let customers know that items can't be placed on hold. If there's an employee shortage then limit the number of customers allowed in the store. Reassess your store management. read more

This is my first time shopping here in a long long time. The line moves super super slow. They have two people at the registers and they take so long to ring people up. They work like slugs here. They need to open up more cash registers. I've been in line so long that I was able to write this review thirty minutes into waiting in line. I will never ever shop at this store again. To spend one hour in line to save a few dollars is not worth it. This store is absolutely horrible. Do not come here! You've been warned. I will keep writing until they ring me up. I might end up writing a ten page thesis statement cause that's how long it's taking. I could literally find a cure to cancer with the amount of time I've been waiting. It seems like Burlington Coat Factory dropped the words Coat Factory from their name. Every now and then, I would find something really great at Burlington such as a nice jacket or a nice shirt. I do like the selection at the Great Mall better than Westgate Center. However, the checkout line takes so long which I don't understand why it takes so long even though they have so many cashiers. In addition, they don't have mirrors in the store so you can't try on simple jacket. Sometimes I get lucky and find a mirror in the housewares section. Overall the place is organized in terms of sizes but it's hard to find things when a lot of it can be disorganized. Despite the long wait to purchase and terrible customer service I always return back to this location because the bathroom accessibility. Now that they've done away with customer bathrooms I no longer have a desire to drive out of my way to this location. I hate that I am in the middle of shopping and nature calls, instead of just pushing your cart off to the side to use the bathroom now I have to leave my cart and risk having my items place back in stock to use the mall bathroom. On top of that, the mall bathroom takes you about 2 mins to get to, whereas using the store bathroom is just a few footsteps away. The employees are unwilling to allow you to use the bathroom "because they'll lose their job" which I highly doubt is true. If this is a tactic Burlington is using to scare their employees, shame on you! read more
