He should be checking, and steer in when there's more than 2 people now that returns and checkout same location. This is the 3rd time at this location same service!! I had a profoundly disappointing experience at the Sephora located within Kohl's. The morning supervisor, Bertha, was neither helpful nor accommodating when I sought assistance regarding a damaged perfume bottle valued at nearly $180. Rather than addressing the issue in a professional and courteous manner, I was met with inadequate customer service and a clear lack of concern. As a paying customer requesting assistance with a defective product, I reasonably expected to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism; regrettably, those expectations were not fulfilled. The level of service I received was entirely unacceptable. This location would greatly benefit from enhanced customer service training and stronger managerial oversight to ensure that all customers are treated fairly, respectfully, and with the professionalism they deserve. read more

Went shopping at the Great Mall location of Kohl's on a Friday evening. The bag and purse selection was tempting, but I didn't come for that. Picked up some of my favorite UnionBay shorts. I already own a pair, but I got it in other colors, absolutely love these as they're both stylish and comfortable, perfect for the upcoming season. In terms of more professional attire, the pants selection was pretty limited, especially for petite and short sizes, a couple nice ones, but most average sizes not in stock. Though I don't mind the fitting room being unstaffed (makes it quick and easy to get in and out), it was FILTHY in there, so nasty that I did not feel comfortable trying on clothes inside the stall. The ground was gross, dirt and trash everywhere, I'm appalled and disgusted just thinking about it. The wait at the register was super slow too. A customer was arguing about wanting a discounted price, and staff did nothing to speed up the process, inconsiderate of people waiting in line and incapable of providing quality service. I needed to return something to Kohl's and decided since this Kohl's was more on the way home, but ugh....I should've just drove to Pacific Commons. So what happened? L O C A T I O N It's because of the location. Kohl's is located at The Great Mall. Parking in this particular area is crazy. It's next to the movie theater and plus it was a few weeks before Christmas. Just avoid malls during Christmas unless you absolutely need to. Parking was a mess. It was soooooo packed. It took a while to find parking. Oh and it's near Home Depot and they all share the same parking area. I N S I D E Once inside, it was fine. It was pretty easy to figure out where to do my returns. The line was unfortunately long. *sigh* There was only one person doing both online pick ups and returns. Finally someone else came to do more online pick ups and another person did my return. It took a while though. O V E R A L L Kohl's typically sells items at full price, but just be on top of their deals and coupons to stack on. Just don't go to this Kohl's unless you're going to Great Mall to do other shopping. Just do your pick ups elsewhere as well as your returns. read more

Mid level service nothing too crazy . I've been shopping at Kohl's for a while now, and my recent visit was pretty standard. The store was clean enough, and they had a decent selection of clothes and home goods on sale. Check out was straightforward, though the lines were a bit long during peak hours. Prices are okay with the coupons, but sometimes the quality feels hit or miss. Overall, it's fine for quick errands, but nothing that stands out. read more

They refused to help me with a reprint of a receipt so I can proceed with assistance from remote customer service. Been on three different calls with Kohl's customer service on site to get the information we can to match up and obtain the receipt and they still refuse to help. The employees at this Kohl's seem especially rude and unhelpful. I come up to the counter with a pair of gigantic slippers to ask if any other Kohl's in the Bay Area has it in my size. The girl looks it up in the computer, and her screen shows something like a dozen locations having a pair... but when I adjust my head to read it, she quickly exits and says "One result basically means none", refuses to pull up the screen again, and basically just shuts down. Then as I walk away, she rudely insists I hand over the slippers to her right now... as if I'm going to steal them. The good and bad of this particular KOHL'S First It's one story, Yay! Nice & Clean (mostly) Good selection of everything. The bad; Parking can be a nightmare! not enough help, ever! Which means the whole store may have 1 or 2 registers open... Yikes! one near mall entrance the other near the parking lot! Not enough! Pretty nice quality homegoods some quite expensive. I didn't know Kohl's carried so much affordable stuff I'd be interested in until I went in for an Amazon return, which is probably the point of their joining up to accept Amazon returns in the first place. So that is a good move on their part, because now I go in just to browse its wares. Kohl's carries a bunch of baby stuff -I always check out their clothes and toys and books. There have been clothing clearance racks every time I've been in. Sometimes the sheer amount is overwhelming. And I have noticed that it is NOT sorted by size as the rack would have you believe with its labels on what sizes are on each rack. So you basically have to go through everything. And I don't know why they do this, but the hangers don't often match what the actual clothing side is also. I wonder if it's laziness or just that when adding new items to clearance there just often aren't the correct size hanger to use?! I have no idea. But there are some good deals, but it'll probably take you a while to trawl the rack to find one in the size you want want and in a price you will accept and in a pattern you find agreeable. Maybe this is why they put all the full price stuff next to it, so you might get so fed up browsing the poorly organized clearance rack that you give it up and just buy an easy-to-pick-out full priced item. Anyway. I do think there is some good stuff throughout the store that you can get at a good sale price, but you really have to have the time and patience to find it. read more

I was strolling with my mom and shopping for some deals. However, this is one of the department stores that is going downhill. Prices are average $30 to $70 for designer brands collabs. A lot of selections and variety of products, but their branding doesn't really hold up to their products they sell. Then you need to use their rewards program and credit card to get the best deals from them. Ah, no thank you. This is not the store I want to shop, and not really interested too. This company is horrible and took are money my wife over paid on her credit card $300.00 and didn't use the card for another 6 months they closed the account never sent the money back, and now can't find any records of the account. I would recommend everyone that has ever used a Khol's credit card to close it out and never do business with them again with your card! This is a very spacious Kohl's store which is stocked with well known brands. I generally go there to look for deals on Docker pants and to return Amazon items. Yes Kohl's has tied up with Amazon so it's very convenient. They also give you a discount coupon for returning Amazon items. Overall a good experience. During Covid they have also enabled curb side pickup and staff can deliver your items outside the store in parking lot. It's awesome. read more

I've come here several times. For the most part, the staff is great. They always have these deals after deals after deals. I've been there to return Amazon things and the employees are quick and efficient. They never really go above and beyond at that booth, but it's a great service to have. I don't shop at Kohl's, but only come here to drop off Amazon returns. For the first time, it was difficult to locate the area. It won't be at the register, you must walk further down and there should be a sign for Amazon returns. I wish it was near the register to prevent to long walk. The process is very quick and easy depends on how many returns you have. For some reason they're unable to scan the barcode from the email. You must log in your Amazon account and show them the barcode from there. read more

Girl at customer service counter in the back was unprofessional and rude. Saw me waiting at the counter, didn't greet me or say she'll be with me in a minute, and went back to helping her coworker. When she finally came to assist me, again no greeting. Just a scanner in her hand and she said "picking up?" Wtf. Sadly Kohl's has been going down the garbage and hiring CHILDREN isn't helping. As others have pointed out, they have next to no staff so finding anyone is a challenge. They've gotten some increased foot traffic recently due to Amazon making them a return location but other than that, I'd rather pay a little more for the same product if it means dealing with more pleasant people who know how to greet someone. read more

Adina has by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. She was ringing us up and while she messed up scanning items, she started accusing us of moving things around and touching what she was working on. She wouldn't give us the price for an item as it was listed on the item on the barcode and continue to be sassy the entire time. One of the best shopping experiences I've ever had so far is at Kohl's, Great Mall location. My review is about their clothing in particular. I've tried almost every section of their garment collections including New Born Babies/ Toddlers, although have never really ventured into their Bath & Home department. They have wide selection of choices, all age groups, all sizes and many countable decent brands too. Of all, I like Croft & Barrow, for it has some of the finest Men & Women clothing collections here, slightly pricey though. So, better shop them using their offers efficiently. Kohl's Offers & Deals: My quick tip, make use of their regular/ seasonal offer coupons, get great discounts & save money! - Usually, discount rates ranges from 5 to 30%. - Additionally, they also offer discounts on Kohl's card, like today's deal '30% sale on Kohl's card' (expired today, Nov 19th). - Also, keep adding your cash backs, for example, for every 50$ you spend, you'l get cash back of 10$, but these earned cash backs expires within the next 5-6 days, so use it before it expires! - Having said that, none of the above offers applies to brands like Levi's, Nike on any day. Carter's, Oshkosh baby clothing are some of the famous baby wears you can find at Kohl's. I've managed to grab greater outfits for my friend's babies & toddlers. Really worth buying here. Their jewelries, hats & other accessories are worth a quick look. They've extensive handbags & wallets collections too. Kohl's Kitchen collections seems expensive. Sometime back, myself & the hubby was checking their kitchen aisle and found some of the products sold here are found in Costco, where the latter offers at better prices than Kohl's. So, thoughtful on making Kohl's Kitchen purchases, not invested in here much !!! About the location: It's more like a self shopping place. Staff unnecessarily won't bother you much. They are helpful when asked for. People working on the tills are attentive & supportive. Lots of fitting rooms in this location. It's neat overall. During big festive offer times, the shop gets really crazy & clothes are all mixed up in the racks (But, that's ok, same in all outlets). Another key factor (besides their offer deals), for me being their returning customer is their pricing. Kohl's price range cannot be categorized inexpensive entirely, but they are very reasonable most times. Their long open hours, especially on Saturdays are their Huge plus. Lastly, parking is not a big issue here because of Greatmall's big parking lot. On the flip side, it's not always easy to get a good parking too, especially during long weekends. At the end of the day, I go home happy after shopping at Kohl's. No matter what, this will continue to be my favorite store for my clothing choices any day! read more

This location used to be a Meryvn's many moons ago, but that's all irrelevant as it's now a Kohl's which is pretty much a Meryvn's! Lots of cool clothes for adults and kids alike and mostly affordable. I mean it's not thrift store cheap, but it's pretty cheap nonetheless. I was able to get a few shirts for 10 bucks a piece which honestly isn't bad. Service is kinda shoddy as I didn't realize there was two different dressing rooms for men and woman and was yelled at when I walked into the ladies changing room. Please put a sign up, otherwise don't yell at people for the confusion. Merchandise can be a bit on the sloppy side as most of it isn't put away after being check on by consumers, so associates get a move on. Either way, this place has plenty of clothes and other stuff on the cheaper side of things. read more

I'm very bothered by some very unprofessional behavior I just witnessed. Apparently the mall entrance into kohls closes when the mall closes (unbeknownst to people who don't usually shop here...) and Kohls in no way notifies their shoppers of this. Now this can be an easy fix and that is not why I'm giving this review.. I am bothered by the unprofessional way that the manager (I am assuming her position due to the fact she was the one handeling it with the loss prevention guy) and loss prevention handled a particular customer. There was an elder African American woman who realized after checking out that she could no longer access the mall to get to her car and she asked a floor associate if there was a way she could get out so she didn't have to walk all the way around the exterior of the mall alone(she was parked all the way on the other side by the food court) I am gonna skip the long conversation between them and skip to the part that was so disturbing. A manager came and request "15" (loss prevention) to assist in calling mall security to escort the lady to her car.. they walked with her to the front of the store, told her she could wait outside and sent her on her way. The loss prevention officer proceeded to come inside smirking and went over to the manager lady and they were snickering about the lady and the situation in ear shot of awaiting customers... so unprofessional and definately not a good representation of how a kohls employee should treat customers. Kohls as an organization really strives for top tier customer service and this was a really bad display. Just a tip... Kohls should add an announcement alerting visiting customers of the closure for customer safety especially considering their operating hours during the holiday season. read more

9/14/23 at 2:18pm: Had a horrible experience with one of the cashiers. She was an older Indian lady with dark hair pulled back in a ponytail and glasses and black face mask. Seemed pleasant at first but during the checkout she made me and my mom feel very uncomfortable, asking "do you have a business, why are you buying so many things?" And made us feel uncomfortable for shopping there. Why does it matter to her how many items we're purchasing? She made us feel like we were inconveniencing her for having to do her job. Also during the transaction she would talk to us in a not so polite manner. You're working in the retail/customer service industry. You can have the decency to talk to us like we're paying customers. At the end she asked us "where are you from?" Made us feel even more uncomfortable as we felt we were being judged by her. All in all, have had very few good experiences with the cashiers here but she was by far one of the rudest we've ever encountered. read more

Kohls is one of the worst customer service in US and I strongly prove here, I ordered a camera worth of 449$ and my total is 490$ on Black Friday nov 23rd and today is dec 24 still I haven't received not my money refunded at all. I called the customer service may be 10 times to check and cancel the order and refund. Attitude of the team was worst in reply holding me in the call for more than 25 mins with no reply and hanged up couple of times and saying I wil get reply in 48 hrs ( I'm not sure which 48hrs) now almost a month. I try to speak to manager but they don't even connect to manager !!!!. If anyone got corporate details of kohls please update me. Finally today almost more than a month I got refund of my money, but screwed my holiday fun and gifts. read more

One took one for the team but when helping was very rude. Hennani or whatever her name is, was sooooooo rude. We asked her to see a couple rings and had attitude the whole time. I prefer going to the Kohls in Campbell as they have a larger selection. If you are in the great Mall it's worth the stop. It's not a place to go out of the way for. My favorite department is the children's clothes. They usually have good sales and you can add coupons from the web to safe more. The lines don't usually get too bad. This review is strictly for the customer service/management experience that I experienced with the store manager. Angelique (sorry if I spelled your name incorrectly!), the store manager went above and beyond to assist me without any hesitation. So I went to Kohls to pick up two pairs of shoes that I had ordered online and shortly discovered I ordered the incorrect size for one of them and needed to exchange it. After informing Angelique of the situation, she immediately checked to see if her store carried the size I wanted. And after realizing that her Kohls store didn't have the size I needed, she went and searched other nearby Kohls to see if they have it in stock. When Angelique discovered that the Kohls in Fremont might have it, she offered to physically check the store and to pick it up for me (since she was heading to Fremont later that day). I then gave her my contact information and later that afternoon, she gave me a call to inform me that she was able to get the shoes I wanted and I could come in anytime to pick it up! Angelique's customer service was excellent and I am happy to see such an awesome store manager not only willing to just help resolve problems but also taking initiative and going beyond to satisfy their customers! read more

I'm not a big fan of Kohl's due to their prices but I do come here a few times a year to find children's clothes and shoes. Whenever my kids need new shoes, we will come to Great Mall. They had a vast selection of shoe stores so it's a no-brainer to come here. My daughter needed a new pair of shoes. It had to be pink and comfortable to wear. We took her to Famous Footwear and Sketchers but she didn't see anything she wanted. While waiting for my daughter to try on some shoes, I did a search on Kohl's website and I found a pair that she wanted. We immediately walked over to Kohl's. My daughter found what we wanted and we proceeded to the cashier to pay. There were 2 cashiers that day and it was a Saturday. The wait was a little long but there's nothing we could do about it. As for the rest of the store, the kids' clothing section could be more organized. read more

I regret shopping here and getting a Kohls card. Why? Because their entire system and policies are customer unfriendly. To sum it up, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. - bras and underwears are a MESS!! Ever heard of organizing by SIZE? Sifting through 1,000 XL and L to find a Small took about 45 minutes. Buying online is bad. The sizing is off, everything looks great on the models, you can't feel the material, the padding shape, and sometimes, they ship you the wrong size anyway... -returns are a pain. When I return things I bought online (see mistakes above), I get a store credit because that's the only 'option' the 'system' gave the clerk, and that's FINAL. Stupidly, the online purchase receipts do NOT show the prices you paid and the clerks in the store canNOT see my online order details, because that would require the Store and the Online store to behave as if they're one company...DUH... -online agents: The female agents have been competent; the male ones on the weekends have not. I have hung up on a few incompetent ones because I don't have time. -phone survey: this dumb system does not allow you to add comments. All of the other customer service phone systems wants you to provide 'comments', nope, not Kohls, but luckily, there's Yelp. -kohls.com: you do not find out until AFTER you have entered all of your personal and financial information into the system that the item in your 'basket' is not available. But, when you go back to the shop, the item still appears as 'available'... The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Someday, they'll fix this glitch, but don't hold your breath... last one: -store policy: do NOT let your customers use the bathroom until the mopped floor is COMPLETELY dry. So, another woman, myself, and a child were waiting because the custodian guarded the door and won't let us in. Policies come first at Kohls, not the customers. If any of you dare pee in your pants, you'll just have to WAIT LONGER because she'll have to mop and dry again. :) It will be unfair of me to not mention any Pros, so here: -you can use the bathroom here instead of marching a mile through the Mall tunnel to use the Mall's super stinky bathroom in which your eardrums will burst when someone dries their hands on the blow torch dryer. And the Kohls bathroom floor is always dry, guaranteed. read more

How interesting (Jenna's review). I was just there last night, and I returned a Christmas gift...Mind you NO RECEIPT OR TAG on the sweater. It was small, and they didn't have a larger size. The lady in customer service returned my sweater, but she could only return it for the current price it is selling - which was fine...either no $$$ with small sweater OR $$$ towards something that WILL FIT. I had NO trouble returning the item. All she needed was my license. I was in and out! I gave it 4 stars as they have great service...even when we walked in (on a Wednesday evening). This place just lost me as a customer. I waited in line for 10 minutes and didn't budge. There was ONE cashier and a growing line. There was some sort of supervisor just standing and watching with her arms folded. 3 other employees less than 10 feet away putting up one shelf chatting away. The only cashier called for help a few times and no one came. The other dingbats just ignored her and just looked on. It just boggles my mind that a supervisor just stood there and just watched. People are trying to give you money ...you should take it. I just tossed my items I had and left. My 30% off coupon was not worth the frustration.
