Everyone knows this place is a madhouse. Posting pics of messy aisles seems totally unnecessary. What are you expecting, exactly? If you want a good deal, and they do exist here, you will run the gauntlet. When faced with the continual onslaught of customers, the staff can only do so much, so give them kudos for being there at all. We hadn't been to a Burlington in some time and came in to look at coats. They had a nice selection at reasonable prices, and a variety of sizes. My spouse marveled at the many other items for sale, from a generously sized Christmas shop to electronics and car gadgets. Tons of nice men's clothes as well. A hundred nice women's casual exercise jackets. We had fun, even enjoyed the chaos, and will return. read more

Horrendous customer service!!! The so-called manager isn't helpful at all, doesn't want to help the customer or their employees. We were the only 2 customers at the check out trying to pay for our items when they had a brand new worker working as a cashier and didn't know she could type in the barcode to check for the clearance prices of the items and WE had to tell her to do that. Then we saw the marked off prices of the items that were supposedly on sale! When we had said that in order to see the real sale prices, you gotta type in the item number to the new employee who was working, the manager on staff rolled her eyes at us, told us that the employee didn't know how to do that. Well, isn't that the job of the MANAGER to teach instead of the customer?! Then the so-called manager ("Karen") turned her back on us, talked to her other African American employee and called us "obnoxious customers," turned her back on us and was extremely rude. 3 employees - African American, Hispanic? (Not sure), Muslim (cashier) were pretty incompetent, lacked customer service, knowledge, lacked team work and were inexperienced as hell!!! The Muslim woman (Zebiba) was working hard, actually. And she had even asked for help since the Checkout line where people were waiting had gone over 20+ customers and she was the only one working the register. The African American woman told the Muslim woman that she couldn't open another register because they could only have 1 open at a time. What rule says you can ONLY have 1 register open at a time?! She simply didn't want to work, didn't want to help... Then when the Hispanic girl (Unsure of nationality) called on the mic telling her (Black woman) to help on the register, that is when she got on and opened up a second register since there was a long line of customers. I mean, come on!!! Your fellow coworker had asked for help and you come up with some bogus excuse to not help until the manager asks you to?!?? No team work at all!!! And the Latina? (Unsure of her Nationality), let's call her a "Karen," just stood around at the entrance, not helping out when SHE could have opened up another register instead of simply standing still and not helping out their employees!!! My wife went today to buy some stuffs, she forgot to take one of the bags,the cashier (abas) did and amazing and responsible job;he took the bag and placed it on the back counter and told to at least 4 people that the bag was going to be there in case the customer (my wife) comes back for it;but no one paid attention to him and the stuffs were put back in stock (that I consider a robery because those things had been already paid in full), My family returned home and they noticed that a whole bunch of items were not in the bags,some very expensive items weren't in the bags,then we went back to the store and tried to explain to a supervisor (an Asian lady) she look pissed off and willing less to help us, Suddenly,we had in front of us to this young girl and in perfect Spanish:"hola,puedo ayudar? Trabajo aquí!" The "supervisor" didn't seem to cooperate with us and for a moment acted a little rude to "JO",the young girl who came to help us. But "she" saw that we teamed up and then she calmed down and said:"you know what,just go ahead and credit her" but our new friend JO offered my wife go around and see if they could find the stuff that had been purchased,forgotten and wrongly put back in stock. OMG. Don't generally shop at this store however, decided to go this day. Should have kept walking past the store. Clothes all over the floor, one cashier with no kidding, 25 people waiting to check out. Finally, two more checkers were added. This was bad. However, what bothered me more was the dressing rooms were blocked off. I found a clerk and asked how do you try on clothes. The reply was that people just try the clothes on out in the open. WOW. Can't do that. I will take my hard earned dollar elsewhere. But I get why it was done. THEFT. To the workers there trying to make an honest days wages. Thank you. read more

Open just a few months ago, this is a big store that has clothing wear, home essentials to big and Tall clothing! You can find a good deal here if you look. Located next to Ross and David Bridal store is clean and organized. Staff also helped with a return but couldn't take care of it due to my lack of information but the thought of having them to help was very kind! read more

If I can give the store a zero stars I would! I came in there purchased two gift cards for $100 each gift card and gifted it to my relatives birthdays A month later one of my relatives tells me that one of the gift cards has no money on it! If it was $25 on the gift card I wouldn't even bother writing this review. You just don't find $100 laying around! I worked my ass off for the money!! I came into the store with the receipt and the gift card and they told me to call the customer service I called customer service and they told me to go to the store so I go to the store and they sent me to the customer service again. Point is the store nor the customer service wants to be responsible for this problem! Basically what happened was the lady that was giving me the gift cards scanned The first gift card and said " it's bad" and she put it away and then she scanned another one instead!!! I'm guessing The first gift card that she scanned was the one that had $100 on it but she kept it for herself!! And gave me the second one that had zero on it ...So disappointing!!! I like that they have Burlington Coat Factory in South center area. It's very convenient for those who live near the area instead of traveling down south to Auburn Super Mall or up north to he one in Everett and Edmonds. I gave this store 5 stars overall and here's why. Great affordable clothes, purses, shoes, house ware, baby stuff & of course jackets. It has everything, not much on the shelfs but it's clean. Hopefully this doesn't turn out like Ross just down from them all crazy hectic clothes thrown everywhere & long lines. Parking is great because it's in a shopping center and there is lots of parking all around. Service - it's like any clothing department store service. The lady at the register was nice no problem. We were able to find my nieces dressy shoes for their Easter egg hunt while ballin on a budget. Thanks Burlington Coat Factory we will be back next time we are in the area. read more

Eh. It's a very new store but there isn't a lot of stuff there. It's all clothes and some of the other stuff. I was looking for more furniture than clothing. Not bad but not great. Maybe they will get some more shelves and such in later. read more

So, here is the deal. I am the ever eternal optimist. The one who always tries to look at the bright side. I have been in the Northwest for 11 years and I used to LOVE Burlington Coat Factory back East b/c I always found something I liked. Here are the issues I encountered today, on March 17th (St. Patty's day) 2018: 1.) The SECURITY follows you around the store. I was just browsing the earrings and jewelry section, and the Security guard watches you on camera. They have the camera on a television type screen and it is sad that the customer base is so classless that they have this problem, but to be honest, I, as a customer who might have spent a lot more, was REALLY turned off by it in NUMEROUS ways. I am pretty upset that he watched me the whole time and I am the last person who would steal anything. So, RIGHT THERE, was a deal breaker to make sure I never came back to the store. 2.) The organization is so disjointed...the store is dirty and unkempt and looks like it has not been cleaned in years. The sections are disjointed and not "together"...the women's section is scattered all over the store. 3.) The Plus size section, where I was shopping was horrific, the clothes were flimsy and picked over. I DID, however, find two cute things in the JUNIOR plus sized section, in which the clothes there were supposed to have been in the Women's section and were mislabeled and misplaced. 4.) I DID find some cute earrings and make up for 1.99 ( a good deal) but b/c I spent so much time navigating...not worth it. There are so many piles on the ground and it is quite sad. I had to feel I justified going in. ANY ROSS ON A BAD DAY IS A TRILLION TIMES BETTER THAN THIS HELLHOLE!! Don't go, please! Save yourself, and go down to the Ross closeby or the Kohl's, which is clean and has a great selection. They need A LOT OF WORK before they can really even compete with the people around them. The cashier was a nice young lady, but I felt sorry that she has to work in such a prison. read more

So far so good. I like that there's a closer location than Auburn. It's super clean so far, and they are still getting a feel for the flow of check out. There weren't too many cashiers available to check customers out. And at times, the cashier was having a hard time getting the security sensor out of the clothes. It would be nice if they had the sensor gun to pull the tough one out. read more

I just started shopping at the store a few months ago. And my first shopping experience here was super fun and amazing. They sell clothes for cheap and I have bought a lot of my t-shirts here from rock bands to video games. I have everything you could need hear from food to accessories. And the store is always kept pretty clean as well even the bathrooms always seem tidy. One of my other favorite parts is they also sell merchandise such as anime figures. If you ever need them store to go to that sells everything you should head on down here. read more
