I consider myself good with words but there is no one on this planet creative enough to find something positive to say

Open just a few months ago, this is a big store that has clothing wear, home essentials to big and Tall clothing! You can find a good deal here if you look. Located next to Ross and David Bridal store is clean and organized. Staff also helped with a return but couldn't take care of it due to my lack of information but the thought of having them to help was very kind!

    All pretty and new

Eh. It's a very new store but there isn't a lot of stuff there. It's all clothes and some of the other stuff. I was looking for more furniture than clothing. Not bad but not great. Maybe they will get some more shelves and such in later.

What's the point in having a phone line if none of your associates can answer any questions?

I love my Macy's, although whomever is doing the buying for the clothes in women's SUCKS!…read moreUsed to buy Calvin Klein, Levi's, Alfani all in that section they had great clothes back in 2018-19 can hardly find anything decent anymore and it sucks so bad . Can we get the buyer back that was purchasing for that time frame please, I miss my clothes it's hard to find style and when I did I spent a lot of $$. I'm glad this store exists on principle. Normally I like dept. stores. And sometimes you need to…read moresee and feel something before buying it. Online shopping just doesn't cut it a lot of the time. However, I haven't been to a Macy's anywhere in the PNW, except maybe Bellevue, that didn't loom like it was going out of business. And just try finding a sales person to answer a question? Good luck with that. I had a few questions. One item on the shelf didn't match the display model. And there was a clearance item that was tied up with a security device so I couldn't examine it. That's two things I didn't buy. That's a missed sales opportunity. And, why wouldn't you post signs on the "up" escalator to warn people that you will be trapped on the 3rd floor unless you want to take the stairs. Both the elevator and down escalator were out of order. Once you've made it to the 3rd floor, it's too late. If you are of a certain age or have mobility issues, this is a big problem going down 3 flights of stairs to the 2nd level where the escalator was actually working, going down. I did hear one sales person tell customers, "it's just one flight down". No, it's THREE flights down to the 2nd floor. A flight is an uninterrupted segment of stairs. I counted 3. It's one "story" or level down. As I made my escape I actually stopped a young person with what looked like a grandparent with a cane and warned them not to go to the 3rd floor unless they were prepared to take the stairs down. I'm sure Macy's lost more customers that it kept because of this fiasco.

1 star for this Ross Store…read more I purchased a pair of pliers on May 12, 2026, and after a few uses, I returned it on May 28, because the latch broke--likely due to poor material quality. When I tried to return it, the staff member, Marcel, accused me of breaking it myself, despite my explanation that it was already defective. She even questioned why I hadn't returned it earlier, as if I would return a perfectly working item. This entire experience was unprofessional. Marcel's handling of the return process was poor, and I wish she had better training in customer service. Otherwise, she would probably be better suited in the back room organizing clothes, as she is simply not competent in serving customers. I'm sharing this with my 115 million Google readers to warn them. Because of this, I will not be returning to this store. Additionally, this woman took the defective plier and did not give me my refund. I was also not provided a new return transaction receipt showing the item was processed back into inventory. I was only given my original receipt, so I am unsure whether the return was properly completed in the system, even though the product was taken back. She just gave me the old receipt back and no money was given. Usually, after a refund the cashier would give a new receipt along with the old and the money for the refund. It's about $7.00, so I guess she can keep it, but I will not be returning. This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have had at a Ross location. What made the situation worse was the attitude and lack of professionalism during the interaction. Instead of trying to resolve the issue calmly or assist a paying customer, I felt like I was being blamed and dismissed over a low-cost defective item. Customers should not feel uncomfortable or accused when returning a broken product that clearly failed after normal use. I understand store policies exist, but there is also a proper way to speak to customers. A simple explanation, professionalism, and basic courtesy would have made a big difference. The way this situation was handled reflects poorly on the store's management and customer service standards. The worst service I ever had from this Filipino (Asian) woman.
