First timers for a low key lunch...had the friendliest young lady as a server. Food was pretty good and is what would be expected at an American type pub. Started with the crab dip flatbread. Yum!!!! I'm a weird about crab dip, because a lot of the time it's way too cream cheesy, but this was a perfect blend. Would recommend this as your main course (unless you're sharing an app). I ordered the shrimp tacos as my main (thinking they were going to be small street style tacos). Wow! They were 3 full sized tacos plus a side! My eyes were way bigger than my tummy. lol The tacos do have a little smoked chipotle sauce on them that gives great flavor but it's a bit spicy for me (I'm a wimp to spice). I'd probably ask for that on the side next time and mix it with a little ranch to cut the spice. But overall...very tasty! My husband got the buffalo chicken sandwich. I didn't take a pic of it, but that seemed pretty mid (like one you'd get at any pub) and you get a side. I'd recommend giving it a try. The tables filled up pretty quickly (maybe 12), but the bar is always an option! We will definitely stop back in when we are in the area. read more

We stopped here for lunch before heading home to chesapeake. Cool vibe pretty typical for a pub type sports bar and restaurant. Service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered and she kept us refilled and taken care of. I ordered the pastrami Rueben with fries. Fries were nice and crispy and well seasoned. I ate them all. The pastrami Rueben was very tasty. I always want more pastrami but the ratios were good. The flavor was great and the rye bread set it off just right. The corn dip was good she ate all of it but I had one bite. The egg roles were good but had some stuffing issues. Wished they were filled a little more. Flavor was good though. This is a top notch place. Highly recommend. read more

Quality of food is not what it is to be. Wagu burger flavor not good, like the quality of the Kobe beef previous owner served wings not crispy as in past , and even down to tater tots, they were not edible, had to be a different brand. Very disappointed as this was one of the only half decent places to get a bite to eat in Charlotte Hall. I hope the new owner listens to the clientele, is like to go back if things change. read more

We initially went to the Foxy Fish for dinner - but they had an hour and a half wait...so that was out!!! We started towards home and saw the Old Line Restaurant & Pub. We're hungry - why not??? Walked in, things are strange these days, so to look around and see there were no black people, kinda made me wonder if it was the spot for us. What a pleasant surprise!!! First - our waitress, Lynne, she was absolutely amazing. Her customer service skills were on point!!! She was constantly checking on us - I asked about the Cream of Crab soup that was featured - she asked if I wanted to try it. I did and it was delicious. So I got an bowl (it was huge and worth every dime)!!! The food was going to have a review of it's own, but I started with the soup. Terrible experience. Staff need to be trained on the gold standard of working in the food and customer service industry. None of them are friendly, when you walk in nobody acknowledges you. Took my kids here on a recent visit to Maryland. I'm originally from Mechanicsville but live in South Carolina now. The food was great. I got a Reuben and my kids got wings. First time trying this establishment. Very impressed with the decor, cleanliness and over all atmosphere of the restaurant. Arrived as they open for lunch so first customers for the day. Jessica, our server, was a very pleasant young lady who was very attentive to our table. I started with the Santa Fe Egg Rolls, which were fantastic!!! Highly recommend as an appetizer. For main I had the Old Line Burger, some pink, very good burger!!! Suggest the blue cheese crumbles for those who like them on your burger. Oh, tater tots for a side. Came upon this place on a road trip - if I lived closer, I'd become a regular! Great service, delicious food. Tonight was my second visit to Old Line since they opened. I didn't post a review the first time as they were just opening and I understand that it takes time to get things down to a science. Pub food should be simple, consistent, tasty, and reasonably priced. I ordered the fish and chips, a bacon cheeseburger, and the filet mignon sub with fries. The batter used on traditional "fish and chips" is light and flaky. What I received was more like the batter used on the fish sticks from the grocery store or school cafeteria- heavy and brown, with one slightly burnt. The coleslaw was flavorless and unappetizing. I didn't eat the burger but noticed that my daughter pulled the soggiest looking bacon I have ever seen off and set it aside. The sub was ok. The tots, fries, and fish absolutely came from a frozen bag. For the price I paid for the meal, I'd expect better than what I can buy from the grocery store. Old Line appears to be a restaurant trying to be a pub, serving frozen bits of food and charging restaurant prices. read more

Great spot! Just moved to the area and could tell this place is well loved by locals. All of the staff were super friendly and even though we didn't have a reservation(which is a thing, btw and probably suggested on a Friday night) we were able to sit relatively soon. All of our food was great but beware-the crab flatbread is definitely "zesty" as the description says. I was not expecting it to be SO zesty and so I didn't enjoy that as much, but everything else was great! read more

The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. All of the food was good. The pulled pork was my favorite! Their crab pizza is ok, I would recommend adding old Bay ( the crab meat was very good ). We tried the pretzel appetizer and the loaded tots. Both were really good. I got the Nashville Hot Chicken Wrap as my meal and it tasted really good but it was too spicy for me. Two people at my table got the Steak and Cheese and they both liked it. Service was a little slow but it's only the second day open so I can understand that. Our server was very sweet. I'm born and raised in Charlotte y'all Maryland so when I found out this place opened up here I was pretty excited. Charlotte hall has been in dire need for a good restaurant/bar for as long as I can remember and I had high hopes for this place. The interior is all new and up to date it's all in good taste. They have an awesome Maryland pride theme going on w decor and uniforms for the staff. This was my second time here I've been here once for just drinks and they were all good but I had to try the food this time. Drinks once again on point and I love all the Maryland craft beer selection. The food is good man it's classic bar food I enjoyed it. Staff is very friendly as well and it's always packed in here man I love to see it. Hopefully this place lasts and continues to get better, check it out when you're in town. read more

We're from Great Mills. Went to the Old line pub because my son is going to play baseball. We received an email that they are going to donate 10% of your bill to SMLL Saint Mary's Little League. I went with my 2 kids, (7&8). Ordered our food from Lynn older woman with a ponytail. The kids drinks are included with the kids meals. One child wanted water and the other apple juice. Lynn came by and I asked her since the drinks are included with the kids meal can I have another apple juice. Lynn raised her voice telling me that only the kids drinks are included and I said I know which is Why I'm asking for the apple juice which was a juicy juice box. Lynn started yelling telling me the kid can have as many juices that he wants. I told her to stop yelling at me and in front of my children. I just asked for the apple juice. Lynn continued to yell. I responded by telling her to cancel my order and just bring me the bill for the drinks. Lynn replied by yelling at us to "get out and just leave." Kids were upset because they didn't understand why Lynn was yelling because we asked for another apple juice. We still don't. We left I called and spoke with Mike the manager and told him what had transpired with Lynn. Mike apologized and said he didn't understand why Lynn behaved in that manner. I replied it made 2 of us. My family and I were excited to see a new option in the area. Upon entry into the restaurant, we were unsure of what to do as there isn't a hostess stand or signage. We also observed 4 servers standing along the back of the restaurant staring at us. As no one approached us or gestured for us to grab a table, we seated ourselves, after which, a server approached our table. She was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar are small and the decor is fine. We were told they focus on promoting Maryland in various ways (e.g. drinks, decor, food). The menu has a variety of options, but I'm not sure how all of them are promoting/featuring Maryland (e.g. egg rolls, paninis, etc). Our food arrived: tater tots, two burgers, South West Egg Rolls, and a salad. Everything looked good and was hot. The salad was fairly standard and unremarkable, the egg rolls tasted like they were frozen and then deep fried, and the tater tots had the right texture but were so salty we couldn't eat them. The burgers were the opposite: no flavor and dry. The burgers were thick and the toppings were standard. Oddly, the manager (or owner) was seated a few tables away with papers and other work-related materials spread all over the table. The servers were seen to consult with him a few times and he would leave the table to go in the back before returning to the table. It would have been nice to see him interact with the customers during the hour or so we were there. It's clear there are issues to work out here and for that reason, I'd give it another chance in the future to see if they've improved. read more

We decided to give this place a try again. It's literally 3 minutes from our house. The first time we ate their the food was decent. Service was fast, and prices reasonable. Today was a disaster. Burnt onion rings, raw potatoes in the potato salad, ribs were meh, but my daughter liked them. The Togo drinks were amazing which is why they got 2 stars. Owner did offer a refund or gift certificate. We declined, but I appreciate his offer to make this right. read more
