I purchased a "Certified" used car from Burns. It died at in less than a year, had it towed to Burns and they refused to work on it. Towed it a second time to another dealer and they showed me the junk yard refurbished part on the vehicle. This cost thousands to repair. I contacted Burns and they refused to speak with me. My experience buying the car on the "used" lot was great. I can't say how great and fast it was although they sold me a Hyundai CERTIFIED PREOWNED 2020 Venue with 11k miles that needed a new transmissions within 10 days of driving it off the lot.... It has now been almost a month in a half without my car and without answers. They do not pick up the phone nor answer phone calls without at least 3 or 4 tries. There are new versions of the same car on the lot that they could have easily swapped my car out with.. they are now $1500 into paying for my rental and about to pay for 2 months of my car payment and I'm sure by the time I get the car it will be 3. The car buying experience may have been great but this has been the biggest regret... there's no way this car didn't have transmission issues before certifying it to be preowned.. there's also no compassion for the situation. I do not recommend the dealership nor service if you're looking for good communication and honesty. I think at think point they should swap me out with a new vehicle without any stipulation or money down AND take the chances someone will buy the one getting a new transmission... oh and they're trying to sell me the lie that a new transmission won't decrease the value of the car. read more

Visited the dealership this afternoon to look at a used 2013 Chevy Silverado. Loved the truck but not the experience. As with any vehicle purchase you attempt to negotiate but this salesman said there was no room for negotiating. He explained they usually like to move vehicle's in 45 days and this would sell. It has been on the lot since November, that is 90 plus days. I inquired about discounting the truck 400 dollars and he again said no. I asked to speak to the Sales Manager and was told no. He was only going to say the same thing. I have never been in a dealership where the sales people had no interest in selling a vehicle or even speaking with a customer. I usually don't believe every review I read online but many of these regarding this dealership are accurate. My wife felt totally disrespected and advised me to leave. I probably would have purchased the truck if the sales manager had come over but to not even speak with me was very disrespectful. On the way out I mentioned to the salesman how I had been in two other dealership today and they seemed more eager to earn my business. He told me some dealerships have more flexibility. I would also add that they have better customer service skills. read more

I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted to look at and he lead in the right direction. He let me test drive the car, twice so I could become comfortable to make a decision. The only complaint I would have is that I was waiting for almost 2 hours, just to sign the loan docs, granted they only had one person in the office to accommodate the documents. Absolutely the worst dealership to work with in regards to my 2017 GMC Pickup. While my vehicle is out of warranty I still, in trust brought the vehicle in for transmission issues. Over $1800.00 of work was performed internally. Ball Valves where replaced and a solenoid that went bad was replaced and I was assured it was good to go. 3 weeks later the Trans went completely and was told I would now have to put a GM remanufactured transmission in because it was the tongue converter and it would be an additional $3900.00. Burns took the position that the codes were different codes for 2 different issues and unrelated....HMMMMM, 2 transmission shops said they would have never went ahead with the original diagnosis/repairs and that it was mis-diagnosed. All I asked for was a credit on the original $1800.00. What a joke, Well you live and learn. However the best part is when they told me they would work with me if I wanted to trade it in...Of course, keep on churning! I will not be buying any cars going forward from any Burns Dealership. read more

Went in for something very simple. Should have realized the math didn't add up. Requested a Mobil 1 oil change, paid for it, but the cashier mistakenly stapled their internal copy to our invoice, which showed Dexos1 oil was used. When I questioned what was used, the service writer acted like he didn't do anything wrong, and blamed the tech (how many others are they doing this with as well). So they pulled the car back in. Unfortunately, I could not see what they were doing and what they did do was to get motor oil all over the motor, dripping off the alternator, onto the ground. This was discovered 10 miles down the road. They did not respond to emails or the survey, never been back. Even if you don't like your job, don't want to do it right, have some respect for motor vehicles, they're your livelihood. Looks like most of their reviews are 1 star, I'll add mine. read more

While on Car Gurus, we saw a 2019 Lincoln MKC Reserve that piqued our interest, so we sent a message to Burns telling them so. We were a little apprehensive at first, because it was a bit over our price range and was listed as having 1 accident, but after some correspondence with Claudia we decided we wanted to take a test drive. We received the most recent email from Claudia very early on a Sunday morning, and my husband replied within an hour of waking, to let Claudia know that we wanted to test drive the Lincoln and to please get back to us asap. Burns is closed on Sundays, so we didn't expect to hear from her until the next morning. When her reply didn't come, my husband called and left her a message. When she didn't call back, I tried to call her and got the answering machine. Being anxious for the test drive, I then called the front desk and asked if Claudia was available. Madison was helpful and polite and transferred me to Claudia. Again, an answering machine. I called Madison at the front desk again, to tell her that Claudia is not picking up and asked if there was anyone else I could talk to. After some checking, Madison explained that Bruce was handling Claudia's calls, so she connected me to Bruce. Another answering machine. So I called Madison at the front desk AGAIN, asking if there was ANYONE that I could speak with, because we really want to come test drive this Lincoln. This time she was able to get Bruce to answer my call. I told him about our correspondence with Claudia and that we were very interested and excited to come test drive the car. Since we are over an hour away from Burns, and with half of the day wasted trying to get someone to answer my call to make an appointment, I made it for the next day at 1PM. GREAT!! Bruce sent a confirmation to my husband and the process had begun! I took my personal belongings out of the car that we were trading in, and put the cars title in my purse, in hopes that we'd be leaving there with our new Lincoln. Then my husband gets a text from Burns telling him that someone else is there looking at the vehicle. Then...... IT'S SOLD. We had been trying since Sunday a.m. to make arrangements to test drive this vehicle, and then spent half the day on Monday trying to get SOMEONE to talk to us about making an appointment and then... they sold it. I don't know if this is common practice with auto dealerships but if so, it's shameful. Had someone replied to us early Monday morning, we could have come for the test drive right away, instead of me having to constantly call the front desk, practically begging for someone to talk to me. This was an awful experience and I would never recommend Burns Buick to anyone. read more

At no time did I ever feel taken advantaged of. In fact, decades ago, I happened to be passing Burns in NJ. After being told that I did not need traction control by four Pontiac dealers who wanted to sell me the cars they had without locating or ordering one with the options I wanted, I thought that I had only time to waste by asking Burns. Saw a used car on craigslist Burns GMC advertised. Called made an appointment and came in. Talked to a salesperson sat down at his desk. They proceeded to try and talk me into another used car. I said I wanted the one I saw on craigslist. The salesperson walked me around and showed me other cars plus the one I saw on the ad. He was trying to talk me into a used jaguar or Hyundai they had on their lot. Yes a used Jaguar with 100000 miles, can you say money pit. I just left. My wife was pressured into getting rid of her lease when she wanted to keep it. They kept pestering her and emailed her a picture of a new Buick encore She was so frustrated with the pressure and flustered that she signed the paper work faxed to her and never saw the car its 8 payments into a 39 month lease and the thing sounds like shit. Its running super loud and on concrete roads it sounds like a wind tunnel and have to open the windows so your ears do not explode . Just in for service today and they said nothing wrong with it the rattles are normal and it doesn't sound loud to them...they didn't drive it on a concrete road. Tried to have them take the lease back then they could sell a 2019 encore with 2600 miles on it they said nope you must buy out your lease. The things sounds like such crap I can hear it in the house when she is a good way down the road. She was going to exchange it for a 2020 encore and they still said nope Going to contact BBB and put in a complaint on how they pressured her and bugged her at work until she got so frustrated she signed. I would not refer Burns on Rt 70 in Marlton to anyone They will not even try to work with her since they high pressured her into the deal. They said its her problem and said you must keep it or pay off entire amount due on lease. We are going to trade the piece of shit in to Toyota and they are going to pay off the lease and say good bye to Buick forever Shame she really wanted a new Encore but they do not mind losing business so she is leaving Buick and told all her friends at her Law Firm that were thinking of going there not to so they are going elsewhere too. I'm happy to post here and advise people to use the Burns Body Shop on Route 70 . I have had occasion to use this body shop twice in the last 10 years and both times I was treated with respect and consideration. The work was done in a timely fashion both times, and the quality of the repairs was excellent. The estimated cost matched the final cost; no surprises and no games. I have had to visit Burns Buick on several occasions, once to have the carpet fixed. While there, I explained to one of the friendly mechanics of a noise I had been noticing and they looked at the car and quickly solved the problem. Everyone there, from Jean, who made my appointments, to the mechanics, to Mike the service manager who made sure my car was finished early, are there to make sure the customers leave happy. Again, way too long for the service I received. 1.5 hours to do an oil change and tire rotation just feels very excessive - the independent shop I used in the past when I had my former vehicle never took longer than 40 minutes. Also, I thought you were getting a car wash? It says so in your showroom, even says 2016 - but I've never had my car washed following a service there. My husband wants me to continue getting my car serviced there because I bought it new there, but I'm starting to wonder. read more

One of the worst experience with a service writer ever. I took my SUV in to repair two simple items. I was going to wait to find out what the problems were. After waiting two hours, The service writer gives me a laundry list of things that my SUV supposedly needed totaling $2,500. The best part is, they didn't tell me what was wrong with the truck in the first place. I was able to get the two problems that made me go to the dealership in the first place fixed for only $300 with a more reputable mechanic. I understand the service writer was trying to sell more services to make his end of the year look better. This is more along the lines of fraud. This service writer should be fired. Unprofessional service. Entire sales team is like something out of a bad reality show about car salesmen. They wasted my time promising a car that didn't exist and couldn't have been any ruder to me about it. Wanted me to lease a car sight unseen, with no option to back out if I didn't like it when it got here. They were getting from another dealer. Wouldn't show me pictures or disclose mileage and gave me major attitude when I asked. Finally the sales manager called dealer after making a huge deal about it and acting annoyed, only to be told the car wasn't available. This, after wasting 1/2 hour of my time waiting. Asked to borrow a pen for some paperwork and 2 minutes later the sales manager asked for it back saying it was "his only pen" Huh?! Went to FC Kerbeck in Palmyra instead and it was like night & day. Got brand new beautiful car with every feature I wanted for significantly less down and about $30 less a month in payments. The team there was VERY professional and could not have been nicer. Huge selection, better deals and no pressure. If I could give zero stars to Burns GMC I would. AVOID!!!!!!! read more

We're sitting at Burns GMC waiting for the 90,000 mile service to be completed on our 2014 GMC Acadia. When we made the appointment, we were told it would take 1-1/2 to 2 hours, when we checked in, we were then told it would be 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Now we're almost at the 3 hour mark. We're being told they had problems getting a couple of spark plugs out. Come on, the vehicle isn't even 2 years old yet! You would think a dealership could deal with that based on their tools and factory training, so I find this totally unacceptable. While this is the first issue we've had since we purchased it, at this point I'm not sure if we'll be shopping here for a replacement vehicle when it's time for a new one in a few years. read more

I've driven many different cars and have dealt with many dealers throughout my life; which is a lot of dealers. So I'm trying stress this statement with all my heart. I have never been to such a great dealership. From the moment I walked in the door until further notice all my interaction with Burns and their entire staff have been nothing but above average. From dealing with Salesman James Crabbe and sales Manager CJ and every person I walked past at the dealership. Every person was friendly and took the time to say hello and speak with you; even after I purchased the truck. There wasn't any games played no back and forth. They even shared information with me that I was not aware of and I tons of research before entering any dealership. I said that wanted to sleep on the deal and they were perfectly fine with that and I shopped there number and no one could even come close to it. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with burns. Will there I did walk around and see how clean the entire plus is to include the service area. So take from a person who buys a new car every 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years this is the best dealer I have ever been to. Once you make a great decision to purchase your next car from Burns ask for James Crabbe to put your deal together and drive away happy. (read below) ... poor customer service, weak management ... be sure to do your homework and go to a real dealership for your purchase & service! Looks like legal action will be the road to take now!!!! ......... #1 in Poor Service -- NEGLIGENCE !! ...Re-think your purchase ... dealership does not support their customer care at all! This dealership failed me 3 ways --- Service, management, and product ... I have lost all faith in this product (2011 Acadia) and the management at this dealership is a real "joke" ... while in for service, the dealership created another issue and did not take full accountability by replacing the parts they damaged. (service writer confirmed I never had an issue with my struts ... the seals were just fine ... but they can freeze when left up in the air too long) ... knowing this, why take the chance ... service writer said they could have done things in stages and put the suv down along the way... but unfortunately, he was on vacation during this work. AND, let me leave knowing there was a new issue, and did not tell me ... the mechanic said he didn't want to create another bill for us, so just didn't mention it. Good thing there were no mishaps driving home! I'm shocked that this dealership has done this to us, and felt it necessary to charge us $147.00 for what they did! Willing to jeopardize the 14yrs of loyalty we've shown on several vehicles ... They are obviously in it for the money only ... what a shame!!! My vehicle was there a total of 9 days and this is the best they can do? A monkey could do better!!! Glad I wasn't injured while driving the vehicle. Remember: You're only as good as the service you provide ... which in this case, is NONE!!! Burns should certainly REFUND all of my money for this repair, since they told me they would "take care of it" ... and obviously, did not! read more
