I've never been to this aquatic center so the 2 stars is based off of the hours of operation. I'm extremely disappointed that they have a really cool splash pad for the kids but only open a few times a week with horrible hours. You'd think a big splash pad in the middle of PBG would be open Monday - Sunday with decent hours. It really doesn't make sense. Please change your hours so me and I'm sure a lot of other families can come and enjoy the aquatic center!!!! read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel others should know. I signed up for adult private swim lessons, paying $225 for what was supposed to be personalized instruction to improve my stroke and breathing. What I got was one unstructured session in the kiddie pool--just swimming back and forth with no technique correction, no feedback, nothing. It felt like the instructor had no idea what to do. When I brought this up, I was told the training manager would attend a future lesson to train the instructor during my session. That's not acceptable. I didn't sign up to pay for someone else's training session--I signed up for my lesson. Even worse, I found out the training manager had already been watching the original lesson and allowed it to happen that way. So how is anything going to improve? I asked to cancel and get a refund, and was told flat-out "no" due to policy--no apology, no ownership, no attempt to make things right. Also worth noting: the reception staff was rude and unwelcoming when I arrived, which set a bad tone from the start. I can't recommend this place for adult swim lessons. Between the lack of professionalism, poor instruction, and dismissive customer service, I left completely disappointed. read more

Went to the Aquatic Complex for a child's birthday party. The birthday party part was not just ok- in that the spot where we had the food, drinks, present, and left all of our belongings, was kind of far from the actual water park. Thus the water park part of the party was totally separate from the party part. I personally coud not for the life of me recognize the other parents once we changed into bathing suit gear LOL! However, I believe there are multiple 'party' spots and options within the complex. Besides the pool, there are pretty nice water park elements here. The complex is definitely more than just 1 water spot, and there is a lot for kids to do here, even the littlest. My son had a blast! Keeping an eye on him was fairly easy, though I do wish there was more shade for all the parents hovering at the edge in bathing suits watching their kids! Parking in the Palm Beach Gardens parking lot (that is shared also by the Community Center and the playground) is easy to find, free, and plentiful. read more

We met a group of friends here for a Sunday cool off! Our kids and everyone else had a ball. The water playground and the lap pool were the only parts that were open on that day. The other parts are open throughout the week and on various days and times during the year. It was around 25 bucks for the four of us, which was two adults and two kids and we stayed for about 3 hours. It was more than enough and the sun wasn't helping much when we were out of the water. I didn't see a concession stand available for food and drink purchases and I'm not sure why they didn't have one there. We had to feed our kids snacks that we brought with us since they were on a hunger frenzy and we would have bought from there if they had it available. The main building holds community lessons for the residents of Palm Beach Gardens and you can find out online what they are as well as pricing for additional feature. I saw they had parties going on at some of the pavilions and there's packages on the website with more information. It was very clean and there were plenty of lifeguards on duty keeping everyone safe. read more

Well maintained pool and locker area and nice enough staff. The place isn't run down and it isn't brand new. Not a huge lap pool, but not terribly crowded, either. The front office operates inefficiently and is a bit haphazard. THE REAL PROBLEM IS THAT EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO SWIM, THEY ARE RANDOMLY CLOSED. read more

A phenomenal resource for families in Palm Beach Gardens! The PBG Aquatic Complex is much more than your basic public pool. The pool and recreation area is a HUGE series of four interconnected areas... There is the lap pool for lessons, swim team practice, and exercise. There is a public pool area with slides, a diving board, and general swimming. There is also a large wading pool with slides, tunnels, and sprinklers. And off to the side is a play area for toddlers with sprinklers, fountains, and misters. There is ample SHADED seating throughout. We discovered this gem in the heat of summer and it instantly became our GO TO location for an exciting and fun summer afternoon. Inside the main building, the complex offers community lessons for karate, arts, basketball and all of those other things you might typically find in a YMCA. I suggest you give them a call just to see what you and your family can get involved with. It really is an all-purpose community center! read more

We reserved the aquatic splash pad for my 5yr old birthday party from 9:30-11:30. We arrived promptly at 9 to set up for his party, there were plenty of people working no one would let us in, or speak to us. I would approach the window and the person would get up and walk away. At one point my 3 year old nephew arrived and I finally got someone to answer me at the window - he refused to let him in to use the bathroom. Conveniently, when all of our guests were arriving at 9:30 on the dot they let us in, we missed celebrating our son for the first 30 min as we rushed around to set up decorations, cake, presents, etc. Then at 11:25 told us we had a 5 min warning to be out and turned off the splash pad. I asked multiple times to speak with a manager, to which no one spoke to me. If you enjoy being ignored, rushed, anxiety induced and wasting your money this is the place for you. This top 3 kids small-medium size Pool/Waterpark that we've been to in South Florida Florida. And we've been to many. The young staff and lifeguards were very courteous and helpful. Water, pool area and surroundings very clean and kept in great condition. Price was fair even as we paid the non-PBG residence rate. Our 2 young boys loved it. We will be coming back as often as we can. read more

I think it's ridiculous that they won't let you get the city pricing if you live in unincorporated Palm Beach Gardens, which of course you don't know until you try to enter. I live in PBG and should get that price. It's unfair and needs to change. read more
