He guided me in all the way to the right before that issue occurred never once paying attention to the rear or driver side. To be frank having a place that doesn't drive it in themselves or have an employee to accurately direct you is insane . After standing in the rain for over 30 minutes. They used whatever scrap pieces of wood they could find in their dumpster and got my truck out. HOW IS THERE NO TOW SERVICE , let alone protocol for when this happens . They used axes under my tires and whatever else was lying around. They didn't take any of my information or do an incident report with me . All they said was " Sorry" ....... Least to say I took video / pictures of the whole experience. I called the corporate office and still haven't heard back from management. I'm glad I wasn't injured during this fiasco . From the time I got in line to when I left, it took around 45-50 minutes, so I wish I had planned for a little more time. But that's on me! The team also topped off some fluids and checked my tire pressure, which I really appreciated. I didn't catch the name of the technician who helped me, but she was very kind and attentive. I paid $50 for the oil change after using a $15 coupon--so don't forget to check online for any available discounts!

The price was reasonable for the amount of repairs, and the car drives really well now. I was afraid I might have to get rid of the car, but I think the repairs will get me several more years out of it! A+ auto repair also went above and beyond at the 500-mile checkup: part of the car above the wheel had come loose and would run against the wheel sometimes. They noticed this and hooked it up to fix the problem. Thank you for their help!

Perhaps a flat tire on the way to work is the signal to have an inspection, which is exactly what Justin had recommended for my car. I went with many of his recommendations in terms of what to fix, and the reports are just so thorough in what they find, that it is hard to delay anything to be taken care of. Justin's transparency throughout the process was definitely the highlight - his communication was stellar, even after my car was fixed, he called me to see if everything was all right after the fact. Although the turnaround time was extended, they offered a ride to the shop, as well as offered their rental car for the potential weekend I was going to be without my car, which I ended up not needing the entire weekend, as my car was only in the shop the next extra morning. All in all, I have a maintained car, new tires, and I had yet another great experience at A+ auto repair. Thanks again Justin!

I arrived a few mins early for my 1pm appt today.. and then I was told that they could not complete my service because there was not enough time. Please tell me why I received a confirmation for my appt if this could not be done TODAY? Or if you knew ahead of time that it could NOT be possible, why did I not receive a call sometime BEFORE my appt? Their way of fixing the problem was to "accommodate me" by offering me a time tomorrow (a weekday). That sounds like you're accommodating yourself more so than me. That's convenient for YOU. There are people who can only get these kind of services done on the weekend, me included. Then they offered me their branch in Redwood City, but provided me with a Jiffylube address just to get me out the door. But wait.. TO TOP IT OFF, they offered me a "discount" the next time I could come in. The price they offered me was more than; if not the same price I would have paid TODAY for the service. How is that a "discount"? After respectfully trying to see what they could possibly offer to make this situation right...in every single aspect, this was accommodating YOUR COMPANY and NOT me, the customer. Why would I come back? To get denied for another service? I am totally taken back today with this situation. I really hope you put this into consideration for your company. Especially if your Yelp staff is encouraging your customers to book their appts online for a "discount". This seems to causing people stress..and being you are the "stress-free auto care", this far from the case.

It took time because I dropped in on a full mechanic shop. They were able to work me in. Their interactions with other customers was impressive. I tried to bring my car in yesterday for an oil change, but they said, at 1 PM, "booked for the rest of the day." They offered me at 8 AM this morning. I asked if there was anything later as it's a little bit early for me. Ultimately, yesterday, I scheduled a 9 AM. I showed up a few minutes early. My service rep, Dawn, explained that I needed to wait just a few minutes as she was texting another customer. Strike one. I kind of doubt that a text message couldn't have waited 2-3 minutes for me to get checked in. She looked around at an empty behind-the-counter and said somebody would be with me shortly to help. A man came out and got me started. Eventually, she came over and took over the transaction. She asked if I was going to wait or come back I asked, "How long will it take." She said it would take "a while." "How long will that will be?" Remember, I HAVE a 9 AM appointment. I have gone to Jiffy Lube in the past. Usually it takes 15 to 20 minutes, but never any more than 30. All other shops for which I have had an appointment, whether it be a dealer or another oil shop, they take an hour to an hour and a half. Her response? "Noon." That's three hours! She also explained there were a lot of cars ahead of me. I reminded her that I had a 9 AM appointment. I firmly, but not rudely, expressed the fact that that was not acceptable. I don't know if it will change anything, she simply said, "we will see what we can do." This is totally unacceptable and uncalled for. What's even the point of having an appointment then!? I can't think of any reason why I would ever come back here for the treatment I received and pointless and unprofessional process of scheduling. Had they told me upfront that it takes 2 1/2 or three hours at least I would not have come, or at least I would've brought some work along. Instead, I am wasting my time! I don't know the corporate structure, but it seems like this might be a franchise operation. In addition to writing here, I have not notified their corporate headquarters about what's going on. In the restroom, they have a professionally mounted magazine article talking about the nation's best tire store. The magazine article is dated from 2007. IF this store used to be good, they should take that magazine article down as now it's an affront to what it is today. I thought all should know how this shop is REALLY treating their customers. Don't bother trying to make an appointment. It doesn't seem to really matter.

They told me what would be involved and that they would not be able to work on it without it costing a fortune. A less than honest shop might've tried to soak me for a repair job that ends up costing more than expected. I know, because others have tried that. These guys gave me an honest appraisal, and I remembered that when choosing a shop to work on my wife's car. We had just bought a 2006 BMW 330 ci, and like clockwork, just after the 30-day warranty expired, we had problems. It had just rained torrentially for three straight days and unbeknownst to us, the drainage ports in the trunk were completely clogged, allowing water to build up and penetrate to the electrical system. We noticed the dash lights, indicators, and steering wheel controls did not work. We brought it to Toole's with the hope that it was something easily diagnosed and fixed. It wasn't. To keep an already long story from getting much longer, I will just say that it was a 4-day-long diagnosis as the problem component(s) were not easily found, even with advanced diagnostic equipment. They sought out expert advice from other professionals who specialize in BMWs. The problem component was found and replaced. I originally agreed to three hours of labor, but since it went as long as it did, I happily agreed to an extra hour. So essentially, they stuck to the agreement plus a reasonable additional amount. I tried to add on a tip but they wouldn't accept it. We bought them pizzas instead. I recommend this shop because they're honest, friendly professionals who seem to really want to help out their customers while running a respectable business.
