It took a little while to get on his schedule since it's a mobile garage, but the convenience of getting the bike serviced at home was really valuable. I'll definitely be using Dave again.

After our first appointment which I thought was a decent interaction, my bike started experiencing electrical issues which I believe was caused by either him or his assistant technician. After trying to schedule another appointment to diagnose the electrical issue and have some saddles installed, he gave me an appointment date multiple times for the 22nd, 30th, and then the again on the 6th of the following month which I confirmed for all 3 times! but was never put in his schedule nor honored. I was put off 3 times and had this appointment rescheduled on multiple occasions just to never even have it. As he blamed me for not clarifying whether he needed a specific part or not which was already discussed and not really even relevant for the other work needing to be done on the bike or for the already confirmed appointment times. His MANIPULATIVE & SELECTIVE MANAGEMENT STYLE, or just poor scheduling and communication skills will unfortunately never have me return to receive his services. Also, the oem part he claimed I needed and used as his excuse to not schedule me for, was up charged because he thought I was unaware of motorcycle repair or parts pricing. So again, don't waste your time or money dealing with this unaccountable D bag. Go to an actual shop. Pay for more Professionalism.

All the times I have been at this location, the staff have been helpful and knowledgeable for the gear that I am looking at. I took some time to try on different helmets as it was time for me to replace my older helmet. The female staff member approached me and kindly offered some selections of helmets, adding the benefits of each. I used to also go to their old location north of 84 on El Camino, and I am extremely glad they moved to this location. Much larger space and very modern look for a Cycle Gear. Parking is also very easy as there is plenty of space in the back lot but also some easy parking right in front of the store. Thank you once again!

The store was quiet, more staff than customers, so l expected some attention. When I asked to try pants on, I was pointed to the fitting room and left there. I ended up walking the whole store in the gear to find someone to check the fit. I then asked for a specific jacket, tried it on, and bought it. Got home and found I'd been handed the wrong model, so I had to go back the next day to exchange it. I did that at the San Jose store simply because it was closer to me that day, and they sorted it out without any hassle. I also asked about the Alpinestars Tech-Air 7x. I was told the only differences from the Tech-Air 5 were the back protector length and the extra canister. I looked into it at home and the differences are a lot bigger than that. On a product at this price, I'd rather hear "I'm not sure, let me check" than a confident wrong answer. Selection is good, but when you're spending this much you want someone paying attention.

I had my suspicions about the cause, but I finally brought it to Alfred -- and within minutes, he identified the real issue. Turns out it wasn't the Borla muffler at all. He quickly found the GM factory-related problem, showed me exactly what was happening, and explained the repair. The fix was expected to take about 90 minutes: cut out the bad section of pipe and weld everything back together. Somehow, Alfred had it finished in just 40 minutes and called me for pickup. Great service, fair pricing, and best of all -- the drive home was completely quiet with no more annoying resonance or rattling underneath the SUV. Thanks, Alfred! Highly recommend.

I never claimed any expertise in what needed to be checked or done to the car, I described the symptom - smell of exhaust. You were supposed to be the experts to diagnose the problem, not me. 2. You did mention the plastic bag, but you never showed it to me (not as i asked for that either). When i asked what if a plastic bag stuck in the pipe wasn't the real problem and what if the smell continues, you didn't have an answer. 3. I called in immediately after dropping off the car, so WAY before you started working on it, not at the end, and asked you to check the lights. I even explained that I was stopped by a cop and promised to fix it. So no, it wasn't working initially and went off in front of you, you just didn't care to check. 3. As i picked up the car, I even said how disappointing it tis o be charged for fixing nothing, and when you finally did notice the dead fog light, you even made a point to lecture me that i " asked to check the headlights, not fog lights "! You did send me to buy my own light and bring it back (at some point the following week), for you to change it, but you never said that you would do that for free. Given that I already paid $128 for nothing being fixed, I didn't want to pay more. I'm glad you have your own customers who hopefully get better treatment , but I have to say this was the worst experience I've had with the mechanics.
