Adam is the caretaker for my babies.

Adam is the man!!! I was gearing up to sell my scooter and of course, while I am riding it the thermostat light pops on and my engine temp approaches red. Yay. I won't sell the scooter like this so I take it to Adam. He tells me it can be anything giving me ballpark figures of $300-$600 depending on the issue. Ugh. Well I leave it with him and the next day he says your bike is ready. I was like "huh?" no parts needed to be ordered? He said because it could be anything that he would approach it with the cheapest and easiest solutions first and he did a coolant flush and said "this will take care of the over heating issue." While he was at it, he fixed a loose handlebar module too without me asking. $140 out the door but I brought him some grub. I basically gave Adam a blank check and he could've quoted anything and claimed XXXX is the problem, but he didn't and charged pretty much the bare min. BTW, he also takes care of my Triumph Scrambler too. Thanks Adam!! Its hard to find mechanics like you.

Adam did an amazing job on my bike. I have a chopper with a full on hard tail no breaks the works. He was willing to work on it for me even tho I know most shops don't want to touch this sort of custom. I had an issue with fuel delivery and idle. He did amazing had it done within 24 hours! I cannot recommend this shop enough. Just go look at his place and see how many awesome builds he has lined up there that people trust him to service. Will bring my other bikes here in the future. Do not get ripped off at the dealers or the shady shops in SF. This is the spot regardless of what kind of bike you are riding.

Adam is a great mechanic, I had a oil leak after I had some work from Adam, I brought my bike back and he fixed it and charged my battery up for no fee! I recommend Adam's shop to all, very fair and understanding..

Hi all I am gonna explain my self and my experience about this store. I have a 2021 BMW Gs I called them for fog light installation the Asian guy told me I need to see the product what you have I explain him brand and models on the phone but he did not get it he want to see the bike and lights which is understandable. I ride my bike to the their store I went in and saw the guy who I talk with on the phon. I introduced my self he recognized me we went to the outside to see the bike while we walking I told him I am an mechanical engineer and I know the product Exactly fit my bike. When he saw the lights he said I don't want to job if you are an engineer you can do that. What a shame for business you guys have to spend a lot money to get help from this store.

Upon picking up my bike the mechanic was trying to push more services which was odd because what he was pushing had just been done. Then on my trip home my storage box fell off my bike on the freeway, so I went directly back to the shop, they immediately got defensive and tried to blame me or my installer. When I asked for the owner it was deflected claiming he lives out of state. They took no responsibility. I would have at least taken an apology or sorry for putting you and or the public in danger. Lastly, I originally had my two tires replaced, very costly compared to other spots, but testing out the bike, it is shotty work. It doesn't feel balanced and feels shaky and slick. Im gonna have to take it somewhere else to get it looked at cause I definitely dont trust these mechanics. The shop seems okay, this is strictly about the mechanics and the work they've done. Another odd thing that really stuck out to me was how exact the timing was on the finished work, 1 1/2 hours... and I mean exactly. I do not recommend coming to this place, you will end up feeling unsafe, feel like you got ripped off and if something going wrong, it's your fault. I had to go to a different place and spend another 100 to get a new storage box and will be spending more to have someone look over the sloppy work this place has done. They dont care if you get killed out there, there take is, it wasn't them.

I've been riding scooters for 20 years in SF as my main transportation for work. 18 months ago I was referred to Moto Java because my scooter was about to die and I'd need a replacement soon. Mike, Ben and their team at Moto Java gave me an honest assessment about what needed to be fixed, gave me an itemized invoice showing me it'd be better I traded my old scooter for parts and bought something new. They appreciated I was an experienced rider, knew what I wanted and didn't try to oversell me on something I didn't want and gave me a fair price for my trade in. My previous scooter dealers/mechanics have given me a wide range of mileage for routine maintenance. Mike and Ben gave me an easy, clear number to remember so I bring my scooter in for routine maintenance based on the specific scooter I bought. Every time I call for an appointment Moto Java gets me in fast and finishes earlier than estimated. They also give me an itemized receipt of what was done and a heads up to what the next maintenance bill will cost so I'm not caught off guard. My review is based on my scooter that I bought from Moto Java. However I know they sell and service and sell a variety of motorcycles like long range highway motorcycles to mountain bikes to scooters. Moto Java is easily accessible off S Van Ness. Mike and Ben are always up for a chat about what they sell, no pressure sales and offer honest estimates about any repairs you might need. Definitely check out Moto Java.

Nini at the front desk was absolutely perfect for the job imo: compassionate, reassuring, and exactly what a first-timer needs before throwing a leg over a bike for the first time for real. Freddie and Henry were great too, really easy dudes to talk to and very helpful with sharing tips and other pointers for me. I'll be honest, I dropped the bike an equal number of times on both sides over the weekend, all at zero mph (embarassing af). Symmetrically bruised ego, perfectly balanced. Returning it felt intimidating, but the whole team handled it with zero judgment and genuine professionalism. I didn't try to hide anything and they made the whole process painless, albeit with some monetary penalties caused by my inexperience (I own up to this though). I'm leaving with my wallet lighter but with my heart genuinely fuller for the experience. The environment this shop creates for nervous beginners like me is genuinely rare, and it made me feel supported and motivated to come back and do better next time. Will absolutely be back for my next rental and keep getting ride time in, because real experience gained like I did is priceless. The human element of the shop is just cherry on top, and makes me feel good I'm supporting a local business. Shoutout to Nini, Freddie, and Henry. You made a squid feel welcome.
