These guys are a joke. I spoke yesterday to an intake person who took all of my info and details. She then said she would present it to the attorney and he would call me. Well what a joke. I get a call from some other lady who tells me the attorney's case load is too heavy. Really? Then why wasn't I told that the day before? I'd shop elsewhere. These Jokers can't even be honest rejecting case then how could they ever possibly be honest in representing somebody and winning? What a bunch of snakes. ------ They hide behind the idea that giving reason could be advice. It's nice that they seem to think people are stupid. They assessed no facts and I was on the phone with said intake person for all of two minutes late in the day (around 445 PM) and I received a call around 10 AM. Some assessment. I've asked twice and will repeat my request a third time to know why my case (which is rock solid and a great win) is not good enough for this snooty firm! We reached out to Burris Law in regards to a consultation and had set up a zoom meeting with Jason Burris and his firm for a date that was most convenient for them, which was weeks out and they never showed up to their own zoom meeting which was made on their terms. They apologized the next day saying there was a "emergency" and asked if we could reschedule. We agreed on a time and day AGAIN best fit for their schedule and YET AGAIN they did not show up to their SECOND meeting. They sent a zoom link to us and we were stuck staring at a wall for over an hour before someone called us and apologized for sending the wrong zoom link. They decided to just call us over the phone an hour later since they could not figure out how to operate zoom and apologized for the inconvenience AGAIN. It seems like all this firm knows what to say is "we are sorry" over and over again. I encourage you to do more research and not just view their friends and families reviews on yelp and google before doing business with them. Burris Law seems to be a small firm that cannot control their workload and turn their clients to 3rd party companies for follow ups and phone answers. Not to mention at the end of the consultation the lawyer indirectly said they have larger cases they rather deal with in the millions than ours. read more

We hired an expert. Had I believed Revocable Living Trust (RLT) the process was actually uncomplicated and without hidden fees, my family would not have postponed this for decades. I highly recommend Burris Law for estate planning. Let me share our experience. Until we funded our RLT, we used wills and related documents generated with Willmaker. Once we learned that the court costs (appointed attorney's fees) and potential months it could take to transfer non-retirement assets, we realized that not doing a RLT was more burdensome than the chore of completing RLT. I held phone interviews with several estate planning law firms. My criteria included: an estate planning expert provided comprehensive services (included funding the trust), the attorney has a backup professional in for when they vacation, patient with my many questions and responsive with minimal jargon.  We chose Ariana Burris of Burris Law because she fit my criteria and committed to providing comprehensive services for a Revocable Living Trust for me and my husband and a separate one for our adult daughter. Ariana Burins was able to demonstrate her expertise in the areas of the state planning, wealth management related tax implications and potential future estate planning changes. She helped me learn some legal estate concepts. She clearly explained what a RLT in Sept 2020 would and would not do for our transfer of assets. Process for Revocable Living Trust with pourover will and funding of trust. We held video meetings for 2 interviews and 1 or 2 post engagement meetings and then concluded with one 10 minute meeting at her office to sign documents. She completed portions of the forms for transferring our brokerage accounts to the trusts. She completed the forms/process to transfer our home deed to reflect ownership by the trust. We did not need to do anything for our HELOC. The entire process took approximately 6 weeks from when we signed the agreement until all of our assets were transferred to the trust. FYI We each had prior valid versions of the 3 documents below via Willmaker software so Burris Law did not need to prepare these for us. I am a little late in writing this review. I would highly recommend Burris Law. I started with an attitude that did absolutely nothing for me. Causing my issue to drag on with further threats of pending troubles. I had a consultation with a second attorney who could not assist me but referred me to Burris Law. After months of worry I meet with Jason and Tim how immediately put me at ease. From day one the Burris team stood by me and believed in me. I hired Mr. Burris to assist me in a real estate matter that was complicated. He took the case on knowing how problematic it would be, as there were issues with Title on my house. Somehow, another person's tax liens were attached to my residential property and I did not realize this until I tried to sell the house. It came up during Escrow and it seriously delayed the sale. I did not want to pay $50K worth of someone else's debt. He made no promises, other than he would do his best to help me resolve the issue. I have had horrible experiences with lawyers in the past, and I was very wary about having to hire a lawyer. Mr. Burris came highly recommended by my real estate agent, and I could not resolve this issue on my own, so I had no choice but to rely on Mr. Burris. I am SO GLAD I did! Mr. Burris wasted no time in making progress on my file, he replied to my emails and returned my calls right away, and he was friendly and PROFESSIONAL. I got no judgment from him, as I had made some bone-head real estate mistakes that got me into the mess in the first place. Mr. Burris sent constant email updates (we communicated mostly through email), and he CC'd me on all email correspondence related to my case so that I could see how my file was progressing.
