I went into a flow state while eating their chicken burrito. I didn't know where I was but I was transported to a heavenly state. And the steak bowl was so delicious as well. I highly recommend both items. We got them both Baja style and the cream in it was dreamy. The guy up front was really helpful in helping us decide our choices. And it was very cute and cozy inside. The chicken burrito delivers. Solid flavors, well put together, no complaints on the food itself. If the experience stopped there it'd be an easy four stars. But standing in line watching phone orders jump ahead of customers who physically walked in is a real mood killer. It's a common enough problem, but that doesn't make it less annoying when you're the one being deprioritized for showing up in person. Fix the queue system and this place earns a much better rating. PICK YOUR MEAL: Burrito, taco, nachos, taco salad or quesadillas PICK YOUR PROTEIN: chicken, ground beef, tempeh, fish or shrimp PICK YOUR STYLE: Baja, chipotle, bbq, southwest The tacos and nachos were good but we opted to upsize our nachos since we were sharing (aka "Make it Fat"). Our chips literally got lost under all the toppings! We had to dig through all the toppings to get to our chips so in the end it seemed like we were eating a taco salad instead of nachos. We hadn't been in a few years-it use to be our favorite when we were in town- this experience was pretty awful. The tacos barely had any filling which was bland and the tortillas were ice cold and hard/stale. It was about $80 for the four of us which is crazy considering the quality of the food. I had the Mahi Mahi Burrito and my wife had the shrimp tacos. We both really like Burrito Del Sol and frequent this business regularly. I would say that the atmosphere for both locations are very similar. Both are great and would recommend either of them (just depends on where you are at). My husband and I get to come here once a year as we live in Texas so we treasure our visits every time, BUT this time was special as we got to meet Colton, who had us laughing so hard at his witty humor while providing fantastic options to "get the most out of flavor town". We didn't like the tortilla chips and salsa that it came with at all. The tasted very cheap. Not stale, but not crunchy/crispy like you'd expect them to be. NOTE: THE MENU ONLINE DOES NOT REPRESENT THE MENU OF THIS LOCATION. There is another location on the west side of the peninsula. That location may have the online menu but this location does not. Service: Not much service for a fast food restaurant but the food came out very quickly. Overall: I would come back. Just avoid the burritos. It's more food for the price, but lower quality, at least from our experience. Otherwise, decent price, good tacos, and fast service. I would give it a 3.5 if I could.
