I heard something thrown in the microwave which is near where I sat waiting. After a few minutes, he pulled out the white takeout box from the microwave. It was my order of cheese enchiladas and beans which they put in a bag and handed me. I told the cashier, "I didn't realize you guys just microwave the food like that". He replied, "Yeah, I know" Really disappointed and the guy who did it seemed to not care at all that we knew. But heads up, especially to those getting takeout or delivery, it's food previously made and then just thrown in to be microwaved. Mine wasn't the only one I saw him do this with. With that said. We have had food ordered for delivery many times, and while the majority was fine well and with care. However today I ordered a two items combo with rice and beans. My entree choices were a cheese enchilada and a chili relleno. Because of the careless in packing with a lid that was split and the bottom flimsy. My meal came to me in a total mess. I couldn't see any because the rice and beans slid all over. The meal arrived lukewarm and had little flavor. We like the food, but the prices have gone up really high in the last two years. I can think of many higher quality Mexican restaurants that don't charge as much. Sorry, but you're missing on your prices by a good amount. I understand that the past couple months we have seen the gas company take advantage of everyone. I work in the food industry and am well aware of this. I also have a gas bill at home and have been an extremely high gas bill. This means everyone has less money to spend on eating out. For the past 2 years, I have passed the Burrito Factory every night on my way home from work and wondered what their food would be like. After Urban Fresh opened, I wanted to check that out for Vegan options, but they have the strangest hours of operation and seem like they are closed more than open. One Sunday after church, I was with my son and eldest daughter and decided to give Urban Fresh a chance. It was closed for lunch (?) so we went over to the Burrito Factory. There were two employees standing at the door completely spaced out and I asked if they were open, and they said yes. So the girl walked me and my kids in. She was nice, and helpful when we were deciding on what to order. I got a bean and cheese burrito for my kids to split (per her recommendation) and the veggie burrito for myself. I also got a drink. The drink machine wasn't working when my daughter tried it so the employee said we just have to turn the key on the side which someone had forgotten to do at opening. It was the hardest angle for my hand so my daughter managed that for me. We went to sit down and our table was sort of dirty looking. They had just opened and clearly we were the first guests since the drink machine wasn't even on yet, so that meant the table wasn't cleaned the night before. The furniture is also a bit of a mismatch. The food came out and I got some salsas from the bar that didn't look super fresh either. We started to eat and the food was just average. Not very flavorful and not as fresh as Chipotle or or Tender Greens. The beans weren't great at all and so we all did our best to finish our food and head out. Not really inclined to come back unless they do an overhaul of their restaurant. There are too many good Mexican places in the area I'd rather give my business. I then heard that Urban Fresh is owned by this restaurant. Likely won't go there either if this is the quality of the ingredients. Not like it's open much anyhow. read more

I wanted to grab some food but I had to use the bathrooms so prior to ordering I ran into the bathroom. Someone POUNDED on the door and yelled that the restroom was for "customers only" ??? OMG BEST hard shell beef taco I've had in a long time! I had a craving for a shredded beef hard shell taco... I ordered two and they are delicious. Perfect crunch, delicious beef... Fresh tomatoes and lettuce and freshly grated cheese. Topped with the mild salsa, it was sooooo good! The salsa is perfectly balanced. Not too salty or bland... great consistency. I was helped by Azucena who was so sweet and friendly. Very welcoming and good-humored. The store was clean, and had great Covid safety signage. I keep giving this place a chance because I used to love it so much but after my last visit, sadly I'm done. $20 for a bean and cheese burrito + a taco plate.. Yuck. This place is the worst. It is so dirty inside when you walk in. I actually saw a dead cockroach on the floor underneath the booth the last time I was there for carry-out. The food is bad quality. Period. Nothing is fresh. Everything is canned and over fried or sopped in grease. I have only gotten food here once and would never come back.
