    Asada fríes

Food is good but can you please stop charging for a side of peppers with an order of $35.00 or more! I bought three orders of your asada fries, I'm already spending more than I should and for y'all to charge me for a side. Not happy about that!

This place sucks now the fries used to be my favorite thing & I would come back 1 or 2 times a week. They are extremely stingy with the topping now, they add some sauce & barely anything else. If I wanted plain fries I'd order plain fries, update I barely ate anything but the topping bc the fries were extremely undercooked new rating 1/5

I ordered 4 mild carne asada tacos to go. They were pretty good, I was full by the end of the meal. TVs were on playing sports games. A/C was on but low. It was mostly empty because the dinner rush hasn't happened yet. There was not a long wait for the tacos. I like that there's the history of Sunland-Tujunga on a wall. There's a kiosk where you can order food. It's well lit.

I liiiike this place that I finished a Mega Carne Asada Fries! I think this place is great for spending time with friends and family. Even though the place is small I think it is still a nice place to hang out and have a fun time with friends! I like the combination of chicken wings, burrito, fries, Burger, and beer! Their Beef Burrito is a bomb! Must try and must check out this place! I look forward to our next visit. The place and restroom are clean plus customer service is great!

    No salsa as requested :(

It's affordable and pretty good for fast food, but today I had a bad interaction with the cook who was rude. I came in to pick up my order and the cashier was busy taking an order. I saw by bag at the pick up station, but I didn't want to grab it without confirming with her or someone else in case they needed to confirm name. The cook came from the back of the kitchen with a new order, yelled the number out, and waited for someone to pick it up at the counter next to where I was waiting to get my order already on the counter. As the woman customer picked up the order, I asked if he could hand me mine - and he responds by pointing at the cash register who is still busy and walks away. He was literally next to my bag and couldn't take 2 seconds to grab and give, but he did the exact same thing for someone else - whose order was newer. Made no sense to me. I hear thar it might be a busy time of day, but rude behavior is not an excuse for that. I give 2 stars instead of 1 today because the cashier was kind, friendly as she always is, and apologetic when I shared my experience. Also, I received no salsa on the side as requested.

I've only ever ordered take out but it's always been delicious! Everything tastes so good. I've tried the breakfast burrito, the sunrise fritas, and the asada tacos. By the way, if you like a kick, you MUST try their spicy salsa!

Food was okay. Price was kinda high for what you get. I now know why In n Out drive thru's always jam packed.

Food was ok! I got the burrito and didn't have to much flavor. The place was clean, small & cute. Service was pretty quick!

Cool, friendly, accommodating Bar-T. Give him a raise, management! He's an asset to GWH.

My two favorites Toriyen and France Café in the Crescenta Valley were closed. I had a rare hankering for a burger & fries. When I looked up Great White Hut, I read Elite Yelper Cynthia C.'s review which convInced me to try out the Hut. Thanks, Cynthia!   Great White Hut is red but is a hut at least for this branch in Sunland. It's a combination beer bar & fast food joint that functions well since most of the food orders are take out so mostly serious drinkers are at the two sided bar that in total seat around 8. If you can't decide on which beer, they do let you sample a taste. There are tables for diners; also outdoor tables.  1) 5 big onion rings covered in a rough, herby fried batter that has a gritty, dry crunch.  The onions inside have a sweet, slightly caramelized softness. Mild Ranch dressing.  2) Standard cut potato French fries w/ a touch of skin. Comes out HOT from the fryer. Slight bacon scent. Semi-crispy. Mostly starchy, sweet, creamy, slightly earthy.  Good portion so what I couldn't eat I took home. Microwaved them the next day with some carnitas & the Salsa Roja from the Hut for an OK faux Lomo Saltado.  3) Double Cheese Burger w/ cheddar: Add bacon & creamy, ripe avocado. Buns very lightly toasted. Slice of barely ripe tomato, onion, pickles, barely noticeable thousand island dressing, scrim of iceberg lettuce.  My bad. I should have asked the beef patties to be medium rare to keep the meat juicy as well as not cooking away the beefy aromas.  The default was well done which made the beef rather hard & dry.  The saving grace was the two salsas to pour on my hamburger.  Salsa Verde was the essence of the pure taste of fresh "soapy" cilantro, possibly tomatillo along with touch of garlic, vinegar for gastrique. The light vegetal, green herbal Umami refreshed the overcooked burger.  Salsa Roja made me sweat on top of my head, briefly took my breath away. Nice garlicky, meaty smokiness while there was a sweet fruity acidity as well as a pleasant, earthy, fermented funk that returned some of the meatiness to the overcooked beef.  1-3a) Picnic Lightning Hazy, Brouwerij (brow veh rye) West, San Pedro, CA 6.8%, Hazy IPA/India Pale Ale: Thick, heavy body, unfiltered "chewiness"; full of green herbal bitter hops modulated by a syrupy sweetness. Hints of pineapple, sour citrus peel, "skunky" with a touch of astringency. Definitely strong enough to stand up to the hamburger & Salsas and then some.  The bar-t in a LA Dodger's cap who was friendly, laid back, accommodating, polite, patient when I was studying the overhead menu a long time. Later, he was filling plastic mini containers w/ the Salsas which caught my eye.  I asked him for some offering to pay him since the burger didn't include them, but he gladly offered them for free.  Great White Hut fits in well w/ the relaxed, down home, foothill Sunland community. Nothing pretentious, A-OK, good basic food. Price is right. 3+ stars

Today I ordered a mocha iced latte with oat milk and it was delicious. For food I ordered a healthy meal with steak sautéed veggies and roasted potatoes. And it was amazing ! I would definitely order it again! The steak is not like a prime steak BUT everything had flavor! For desert I HAD to get the pecan brownie and the caramel brownie cause I'm a brownie connoisseur I like my brownies warmed up and these are good but I'll update my review once I have them warmed up with a warm coffee. Just the customer service alone would bring me back! But definitely if you are in the area please stop by and give it a try!

I always wanted to keep giving them a chance because it's not like we have a lot of similar options locally, but this was the last straw for me. The quality doesn't even come close to justifying the price. I could get teenagers to whip me up any crazy drink within minutes at Starbucks, but the simplest order here requires that I've got nothing else going on in my day. And don't get me started on ordering food here. Let's just say last time it was a similar story but no coffee, just a lemon square... that was already made. Also, one of their young male employees seemed to be on break and used the female restroom when the male restroom was free. Just a little strange there. Cute ambience and I like the paintings from local artists they have up, but it isn't a place I'd recommend to anyone. The workers are mostly smiles and friendly demeanors, I just wish they'd be more efficient and thoughtful.

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. I got to taste my friend's huevos divorciados and the sauce was so delicious. My machaca was different than what I have had at other restaurants, a little on the dry side, but I enjoyed it. Loved the rice and beans it came with! Another highlight was the Cafe de Olla itself! I think I downed like 4 cups of it, it was so delicious. Service here was fantastic. Highly recommend!

Consistent Southern Brunch Favorite! Even All the Way in Burbank!…read more I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the "Another Broken Egg Cafe" sign in Burbank. I've been a regular at their Destin, Florida location for years and was genuinely thrilled to find the same spot all the way out west. The restaurant originally opened in Mandeville, Louisiana (on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain) in the mid-90s as The Broken Egg Cafe, with the second location (Destin) becoming "Another Broken Egg." The Burbank spot perfectly captures that same warm Cajun-inspired atmosphere and the menu is nearly identical which was a comforting consistency I really appreciate. I sat at the bar and ordered the Cajun Shrimp & Crawfish Omelette (shrimp, crawfish, andouille, red peppers, tomato hollandaise, tomatoes, and green onions). I ditched the carbs and asked for a side of cottage cheese instead of the usual potatoes and English muffin; they happily accommodated my low-carb request. The omelette itself was hearty, flavorful, and exactly as good as I remembered from the East Coast locations. Jenny, the bartender/server, took excellent care of me. She was friendly, attentive, and we traded a few funny jokes that made the meal even more enjoyable. The food and service were both excellent, and I love that the experience feels so consistent no matter which location I visit. Since I come into town regularly, I'll definitely be back.
