Nice Mexican joint, definitely a bang for the buck. Ordered three tacos but I would've been good with two, so much carne asada. Just make sure that if you want them authentic you specify cebolla and cilantro or it'll be American style, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Also the salsa that comes with the chips is not spicy at all, makes sense for the area but I would've preferred more green salsa or the hot red that came with the tacos. Will visit again when at CDH. Nice clean friendly place! I had the Chicken Burrito dinner with 2 sides (rice and sour cream). The Burrito was huge and very tasty! My husband had the Chicken Fajitas with 2 sides (rice and grilled pineapple-yum!) very large portions and it came with guacamole (bonus for me since he doesn't like it!) The guacamole was amazing! I've only been there a few times but over half of the times I've been there, they have gotten my order wrong or shorted my order. I had to go back one time after getting to my house only to realize that my order was wrong. I explained to them that I have had several problems with their service in the past. Stumbled on this place through Yelp. It's in a weird location in corner of shopping plaza. Impressed with how modern looking it was inside. Also very clean and spacious. The food was delicious . I only had beans and rice but serving size was plentiful and tasty. My wife had steak taco and though shes picky it was great and filling. We found our new place for Mexican food ! Carne Asada needed more spices in the marinade as I was wanting more flavor. The burritos were good sized. My wife thought the chicken torta was ok, but the bread was not as good as other places. Saw a yelp review today and stopped by for lunch. I had a cheese quesadilla which was fantastic. Small tortilla shell but plenty of cheese and it was warm. I also tried 3 different taco's, Chile Rellenos, Al Pastor and a steak. The steak was one of the best I have had in recent memory. Great flavor and was not tough or chewy. The Al Pastor had great flavor which kind of surprised me as most in this area are bland. The CR was the most average of the three but that will not stop me from trying it again. My favorite Mexican restaurant over all in the suburbs and I've been to many! The food is fresh the service is outstanding . The employee are informative, respectful and hard working. I always ask for the bistec a la mexicana and have never been disappointed. I especially enjoy they have a kids menu and a menu for vegans! Prices are very cheap compared to other restaurants in the area. It's worth the drive from Naperville to Winfield! The restaurant is very clean and bathrooms are in top shape! The employee are also always happy and smiling to see you walk through the door! Anyone who's in the area needs to visit this place. You want quality food and authentic food here is the place to come. Food is all made to order, meaning there's a slightly longer wait than say a visit to chipotle. It is worth the small wait. Their lunch platter is very filling and reasonably priced. Their chips and salsa is fantastic freshly made chips and salsa with just the right amount of heat. Personally spoke with one of the owners and she said they are constantly working on their recipes based on customer feedback. This place needs to get the attention they deserve so they can continue to grow and serve awesome food. So tell everyone you know to go try it out.
