    Bulgogi bowl

How did I not find this place any sooner??? The town of Quantico is located inside the Quantico Marine Corps Base. I was already out there and looked to Yelp for some food nearby. I was skeptical of a place being on the base getting 5*s so I decided to test it out. To my surprise, it is deserving of all 5 *s. It serves burritos, rice bowls, and tacos. Kinda reminds me of a Chipotle where you build your bowl or burrito, but with an asian fusion twist. I got a Bulgogi Bowl, which is basically a burrito bowl but with korean style bulgogi beef all on top. I got a healthy portion of beef on top of my rice, beans, corn, cilantro, guac, sour cream, (ok so i got everything they had). They have extra sauce on the table if you want to spice it up even more. The portion was huge. I couldn't finish my bowl. All that for $10. Not too shabby. I'll have to try a burrito next time and also check out the other shops and restaurants in this town.

Bulgogi bowl with lime cilantro rice, mixed vegetables and onions, corn, cucumber.

Nice looking interior. The bowls are good and much like those offered by Poco Loco, another Quantico American Korean-Mexican restaurant. The service is also professional and polite.

If you love Chipotle, you will like this place. Like everyone says its a ma and pa kinda place. I got the burrito bowl and that was huge. Fresh ingredients and the place looks clean. You won't be disappointed but u will come out heavier lol. The portion size is huge.

The food is fresh, in large serving sizes and offered quickly. Beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp are available with a number of different ingredients, they have many different options available to eat, so its not simply a burrito joint. There are soft drinks, waters, and Juices available to drink. The place was clean, well maintained and managed well, I'll definitely see myself back here. :)

Had the bowl with barbacoa, but you pick the meat and toppings. Everything is fresh, quick, and a good value. It is also very close to MARCORSYSCOM so was able to get there, eat and get back in less than an hour. Make sure you have a quarter for 30 minutes for the street parking meter. Enjoy!

This tiny bit of pico not worth $2.

The food is good but I ordered a large side of pico and got a dressing size cup of pico for $2.

Delicious food, cute spot. The Bulgolgi beef bowl was interesting, not anything I had tried before, but delicious!

But upon walking in, our hostess/server immediately rolled his eyes and let us know the kitchen closed in 30 and we let him know that's ok. From the moment he sat us he was rude, cold, and unprofessional. He never gave us his name, Never brought us sauces (we had to ask) and everything he brought was slammed onto the table and walked away without a second thought. I'm used to being asked how everything is going, if we need anything, etc. None of that happened during our interactions with him. He barely checked on us, we had to keep calling him over. Then when we get the check once again no thank you for coming enjoy your evening anything. The lack of customer service made the experience unenjoyable to say the least. I understand we came in a bit towards closing but with still an hour I feel like we deserved better service and shouldn't have to charge that behavior to "we're about to close". Despite that, the food came out quick and was very good. The rice was a bit overcooked but I let it go. Overall, I would go back and eat there again, just maybe with a different server.

The place is a quiet restaurant tucked away in the corner of a strip mall and the service from beginning to end was very kind. The menu was borderline overwhelming because there were so many choices. You almost have to go in with a game plan. They have street food style cuisine, large plates, and a ton of options. The good news is that out of everything I tried, they were all delicious, so I don't know that there's a bad game plan to be made here. Everything was very well-balanced and had great depth of flavors. This is also the type of restaurant where when they say spicy, it means spicy, so just be forewarned. Awesome spot and would totally recommend if you're in the area.

The Laotian papaya salad was SO good and tasted very authentic. We got level 2 spice, and it was definitely spicy, but in a really good way. I hope they keep the spice levels that way because it really keeps things authentic. The only thing I was missing was the little fermented baby crabs! We also ordered the basil chili crisp pork belly dish and the Pad Thai Supreme, and both were excellent. Portions were big enough that we had leftovers. Such a cute, clean restaurant with friendly service. I'm already addicted to the papaya salad and will definitely be coming back!
