It's so dead that the servers are watching World Cup games. While this is a breakfast and lunch spot the menu is quite large. There is no bar top so for all you single diners hoping to slip on in to a bar top at busy times that is not an option. Ambiance is pretty plain. They have 3 TVs and playing a mix of 70s and 80s music on SXM radio's The Blend. Average plate is around $17. My server Andrea was wonderful. Come with cash because they charge a fee for card transactions. I ordered the pro green chili omelet with fruit and sour dough. Delicious! The pork was tender, green chili has flavor but none of the spiciness. Eggs super fluffy and man do they load on the Colby jack! I decided to try this place last Saturday early afternoon, late breakfast and have past this place at least a dozen times. The place is nice and clean, appropriately decorated in accordance to the name, good ambiance and taste of music (seems mostly 80's-ish), and plenty of seating. This particular business appears to be ran by a local family even though their is more than one establishment of the same name. Not really understanding the concept of being called a cafe when its more of a diner operation. I have not tried their other location on Craig Rd. I always try to support local businesses, of course! Staffing/service were all nice, friendly, and professional, food came quickly. No complaints there. I ordered the breakfast combo with a biscuit and gravy instead of the pancakes. Eggs over medium. This was an ok meal. Certainly not the best but it hits the spot. The gravy was good and thick with a nice peppery flavor, texture was on point. Didn't care for the biscuit, though. Crumbly and dry with the same taste and ingredients as the pancakes. These are not homemade. Bacon was rubbery and chewy. I tend to like my bacon crispy to the bite. I keep forgetting to request it that way, doh! Although, I honestly feel this is low quality bacon....just saying. All in all, I feel the service and ambiance is there but for this meal itself seems to fall short, especially, for the price. Now I know why I see mailers for this place every month since this place can get spendy! This meal cost over $21 without beverage (I got water), a bit too steep in my honest opinion considering other available options. That's including the sales tax (of course) and a tip. Apparently, they also add an upcharge percentage for using plastic...mine was $.71, bummer. Upon first impression, an ok place to go to eat and socialize with good service but expect to pay more than the average here for ok quality food. First off, let me start by saying whoever picked up the phone that morning was very rude and came off as if I was inconveniencing her. I kindly told her after the second "what else" not to worry about it and that I'll just order online. She sounded irritated still but relieved she didn't have to deal with me anymore and proceeded to hang up. LADY whoever pee'in your cheerios this morning, it wasn't me. My husband had to go back because they forgot his waffle and when he got home they forgot my son's side of sautéed mushrooms. I called and the store manager and she said they had added the "side" mushrooms to the omelette. (Side was added at the end of the order as a side, they assumed it was for the omelette) THERE were barely any mushrooms let alone EXTRA to begin with in my SPINACH & MUSHROOM omelette. I didn't bother calling back because at this point we were done, over it and just called it a loss. another thing before anybody says, maybe they were busy, I asked my husband to make sure to look at how busy they were and he said no, not as near busy as the other location. THE FOOD: *Churro Waffle... Son said it was okay but felt like the waffle was overcooked, soft scrambled eggs were runny and sitting in its juices. (was not able to take a picture as he had already ate it. Too hungry to even care I guess and he's a teenager who don't care) *Biscuits & Gravy... flavor was okay but gravy was a bit watery. *Waffle Breakfast... Husband said it as not the best, bland, eggs were dry and NOT soft scrambled, and waffle was overcooked making it dry. Spinach & Mushroom Omelette w/ a side of tomatoes ... a bit overcooked making it dry, barely any mushrooms even if the "side" was added. In my head if it was added I would have seen a lot of mushrooms but you know, that's just me. Tomato was ON POINT, because if you work in the kitchen and can't slice a dang tomato then I'm sorry you need to go. *Side of gravy...a bit more watery than i'm used to for country style gravy. *Side biscuit..... It's a biscuit, sooooo i guess it was okay. *Kids Special (French toast, bacon, scrambled eggs)... Lil one said the egg sandwich was okay and when I looked at it again, it was French toast with a lot of egg batter. He said was good and eggs he did not like. Sooooo over all experience here was not so good. I think we would rather DRIVE out of our way to the other location than to go here. NOT IMPRESSED by the food and especially the portion size. You tell me if you would pay $80 for all of this or if this looks like it's even worth $80. I have paid less for more and better. Decided to try this place since it's right near my house . It's nice to have a cafe nearby. The service was friendly and they have a great Selection of different things on the menu. I ordered bfast which was delicious. I will say I wasn't a fan of the turkey sausage . The home fries were real potatoes and seasoned well . The pancake could have been a little fluffier . The coffee was unlimited refills with hazelnut creamer which was nice . Overall, I'd revisit and it was about $36 for two people including tip . read more

First time here. Looked online to see if I can find a good breakfast place that is different than usual fast food diners. This place reminds me of a home cooked meal that all the food came out hot and well cooked. The service was fast and food came out all together hot compared to a lot of places i go to. This location of the Harvest Cafe is only open 7am-3 every day and serves breakfast and a few lunch items. They are located in the spot where the Mexican Restaurant Asada was. I tried the Balsamic Chicken Salad. I almost gave three stars because my salad was warm and over dressed but the chicken on it was very good. It was moist and developed with good favors. Next time I get a salad here I will ask for the dressing on the side. My husband tried a Cheeseburger with Onion Rings. He asked for it medium/rare and got it medium/rare. He was pleased with the burger and the onion rings were prepared well and were nice and crisp and seemed free of oil. Our server was efficient and pleasant. As of today this location of the Harvest Cafe is not on the Craig Road location website. They have different hours and a slightly smaller menu. It's nice that they opened this location because a lot of people that live nearby can use it. read more

Classy but understated . Service was good as expected and fast. The portions sizes were average and food was ok . There were a few things I found that I didn't like. The fountain drink prices were excessive at $4.10 each . And they charge a 3.00 fee for using your card. Loved the ambiance in the place, reminded me of small diners I used to go with growing up with my Mom and Grandma back in Pennsylvania. They are still as good as the other restaurant on Craig Road, you have to try the chicken Fried steak and their omelettes. This is a newer outpost of the original Harvest Cafe and it's very good. this one is only open for breakfast and lunch 7AM- 3PM. I have been here twice and found the service to be friendly and efficient. All of the employees are genuinely nice. the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. We have tried a few different items including 2 different salads that were both very good as well as a Cheeseburger and most recently the Country Fried Steak and eggs. This one is a little different as it's a pork cutlet but its cooked well and the gravy is good. All in its a lot of food for the money. You get the steak with 2 eggs hash browns and a large pancake. You can customize this a few different ways. The hash browns are nicely done as well as the pancake. Most impressively for me was when I ordered a medium rare cheeseburger and it was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Most places can't seem to do that. read more

I stopped at the Harvest Cafe on my way to work, hoping to get a quick breakfast. When I arrived, I was seated promptly. After a few minutes of sitting there, a bus boy came and asked if I had anyone take my drink order to which I replied, "no", so he brought me water. I'd been sitting there for about seven minutes, and the waitress passed by me around five times. I was clearly ready to order as I was sitting there with my menu open, looking straight ahead, but she never stopped at my table. I finally decided to walk out.
