I've had nothing but positive experiences with Burrtec. I've rented several dumpsters from them and they've always been emptied right on schedule. As for complaining about the hour the trash is dumped - I live in an apartment in a city where they pick up at 5:00 AM and the trash is maybe 20 feet from the building. I am not giving this company any stars. They are the worst to deal with!!! I have been using them for my manure remival for over a year and a half and all of a sudden they're refusing to empty and service my trash! My neighbor has the same type of removal and they dont bitch about her removal! The drivers lie and have bad attitudes towards me for absolutely no reason! We pay alot of money for shit service! They should refund a whole bunch of money due to as long and many weeks i haven't had service , when the truck drops my can in the truck or not coming and do the service i pay for! This bussness needs somebody to go in and straighten things up. First of all the office help. They are rude and inconsiderate. Who ever is incharge of making sure the routes get picked up and the paying customers get what they pay for. Our can (the red or purple) has been cracked and broken for two years. I am sure its not the way the driver puts the cans down when he is rolling forward. Naw, couldnt be that. Could it? This past Friday our trash and many others did not get picked up. Do they call and say when it will be picked up? No. Not at all. They sat out Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I loaded the cans up and went to the county dump myself. I pay for trash to be picked up weekly, but it's not. I call and say they forgot me again, and I get asked ridiculous questions. Such as, do I put the cans out early enough? Yes, the night before! Or how many do I put out. More than 4 and they won't take it. Cans, not bags. I know that, usually it's one or two. But that doesn't matter because they don't even come by here to pick it up in the first place. This has been hit and miss with these guys for 2 years. If they weren't the only game in town, I'd find someone else! I want a job like these guys have. Don't work or bother to pick up the trash, but still get paid for it! read more

Here in Yucca Valley our trash pickup is included in our property tax. I can say with confidence that they missed my barrels at least 20 times. Usually it's the recycle bin but yesterday it was the garbage. He drove right by it. I always wave and say hello to the drivers when I see them out and about. But I think now I'll raise my middle finger. No chance of reimbursing me. It remind me of organized crime. read more

Trash truck comes each week between 645-715 After the spring forward time change they show at 6:15am. That's 5:15 last week. First time after time change WTF. Is that really an idea that serves your customers without warning. Not sure how this make any logical sense. Stay light later not earlier and very big inconvenience for many patrons. I'm sure no one there cares. When we first bought the house there were trash can here. We move in and they took them. New owner has no where to put garbage. Lady says at business they be there hopefully next week. That's a lot of help. I had even called and they said I couldn't set up servers until we had moved in, think moving might produce some trash. read more

I use Burrtec to pick up my garbage once a week. They are reliable, and make swift work of grabbing the garbage and moving on. Additionally, I would like to say that Burrtec's facility, recently moved from the Yucca Mesa, to 58925 Sunnyslope/La Contenta, Yucca Valley. This facililty allows us to drop off our recycling without a hassle. I can't confirm it, but traditionally, disposal of electronic waste is also available at the facility. I have found this service to be quite helpful. read more

These guys have been consistent in not providing the service I pay for. They blame it on new drivers and promise to address it with a notation on account and then the issue happens again and again. I would recommend finding another provider if available. read more

Yesterday, while moving at speed, a truck lifted its front container to dump garbage in the back of the truck, and of course garbage and papers flew out of the container spreading all over the desert. Why would the driver operate the dump feature while going 20 or 30 mph? And he or she didn't bother to stop to pick up the garbage. What is going on with this company?! read more

Really aggravating that because the actual holiday (the Fourth) fell on a weekend, the trash service was not pushed up a day as is usual for a holiday weekend. No rhyme or reason for why it is not delayed a day like every other holiday. read more

While the customer service, pickups, etc. are all 5 stars, their plans are not.... I live by myself on a dirt road. Because I live on dirt I must have a dumpster instead of a trash can. The service costs $85/month. I generate very little trash, but there is no plan less expensive. I find this to be wrong. They insist pickups every week.... why not allow every other week? Have no choice but to pay the costs due to my situation but find it rediculous. I hope someone from the company actually checks this review.... maybe some good will come out of it! read more

When trash spills during the collection process, they just leave it all behind thus contributing to polluting the environment. I called and complained and all they said was the "drivers are not supposed to get out of their trucks"--that's news to me. How about some truth? Could be laziness or corporate greed...not wanting to hire enough workers so the company can make more money? Sad, because their laziness or greed is hurting our environment. Coming up on the 3rd week of the dumpster truck coming by while my trash keeps accumulating in my yard . Burrtec has failed to drop of my containers after numerous promises that they are coming . It has even been escalated and all they keep saying is it's coming today . So disappointed . read more

DO NOT USE THIS TRASH COMPANY Your company does not even deserve a single star rating! This is not trash service, this is a scam. Dont expect customer service from ANY of the rude women who will answer your calls. You can call in to cancel service and then they STILL bill you for another 4 months of service, but NOT once pick up trash past the cancellation date. This company has terrific customer service. I've contacted them twice when I broke a wheel on my trash can and another time when my trash can disappeared from the road. They were extremely efficient in dealing with both issues. They fixed and/or replaced my trash can within a day or two. I'm retired now but I once worked a crazy schedule. I was often gone from home for days or even weeks at a time and after missing several trash days my can would sometimes be full to the top. On one occasion I finally got home on a Sunday night but it was extremely windy so I didn't put the can out. I planned to put it out early Monday morning. I was exhausted after working several long shifts and getting home late after an hour and a half commute so I overslept. I was pretty sure I had missed the truck. I took the can out anyways (just in case). A short while later, here came the truck down the other side of the street. That driver saw the can I had put out late. He stopped, got out of the truck, wheeled my can over to the other side of the street and emptied it. Then he put the can back in front of my house. I know it sounds like a small thing, but I was so grateful. That extra effort on his part made a difference in the rest of my week. Also, you can pay your bill on line, which is great. read more

We have had trash service for over 5 years. We live in Landers and we have had a dumpster on the property. The property is fenced in 5 acres. When we started the service, we were told that if we got a lock on the gate we would have to give over the combination. We told them we do not lock the gate we only shut the gate. We were told that was no problem at all the driver will open the gate, come in and dump the dumpster, and then closed the gate as he leaves. That is not the case anymore. They want $44 a month to be able to come on to the property and dump the dumpster. This is ridiculous. This is after calling customer service. I will go into their office to day to discuss further. I have been scheduled to move the dumpster to outside the gate, which will be in the road and assessable by anyone else who drives down the road. read more
