We've been to their Riverdale Park location and had a Birthday celebration so decided to visit this one for Saturday Brunch. We had an 11 am reservation and quiet when we arrived. Spacious open dining area with mixed seating and a good size Bar area. We started with the General Tsos Cauliflower. Sweet, savory and we liked this starter-had a comeback style dipping sauce which was good but not necessary given the Tso glaze. We also got the Truffle Goat cheese Frittata for sharing-could pass as an appetizer and was delicious. For main, it was Steak and Eggs-rich and decadent-Hollandaise sauce everywhere! Short Rib Hash, Brunch Burger -tasty locally sourced beef with a plethora of toppings including hash brown square. Unfortunately, they didn't have the Short Rib Grilled Cheese which was one of our favorites. Service was attentive and engaged. Haley took great care of us. Although tempting, no room for dessert. This was our first time trying Burtons Grill & Bar, and we were really impressed. They go above and beyond for guests with food allergies, which made the entire experience feel safe and stress-free. The staff was amazing, knowledgeable, and attentive from start to finish. The atmosphere is welcoming and very pretty inside, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was excellent. We had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, Ribeye, and Roasted Vegetable Bowl, and every dish was delicious. We went as a post graduation dinner to check out the place that had replaced the old TGIF's. I was intrigued by the bird murals and usually seafood is what the family gravitates to. It was a very rainy day and so the floors were wet, which isn't usually an issue unless you're at the table that faces the front door. Party of 7 and the table was so squished, we were all incredibly uncomfortable. Our server was nice and checked back on us frequently. The drinks were good. I got the Non Alcoholic Berry Spritzer, it was pretty good. The Bread spread was more meagre than I thought it would be, delightful nonetheless. The tapenade was well done. The calamari was good albeit the surprise pickled jalapeños that were breaded and fried, lurking among the tentacles. Again, small for an appetiser to be shared among many. read more

Came across this place by accident abd I'm so glad I did. From the outside , I would've never guessed that the inside was so AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL !! From the foliage themed walls with birds, trees and plants, as a nature girly I was in love. The light fixtures were so unique and even the exposed pipping, not sure if that was intentional, but I loved it. The bar area is massive with plenty of seating and t.v's for sports enthusiasts. The ambiance gives off casual dining.. u could definitely dress up and cone for a date night or meeting the girls for happy hour. I love anywhere that has variations in water options and serves in glass ... the wine wall as I call it is a nice touch ! Even the bathroom was amazing! Now let's talk about the menu, it was big but not overwhelming, from seafood, to salads abd bowls, steak and so much more, I ordered the Thai Salad Bowl and it was literally a party in your mouth! From the various ingredients that tasted sooo fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly , medium as I prefer. The firecracker shrimp were so delicious.... My husband ordered the General Tso Bowl and it was flavorful, literally bursting with flavor. My husband stated "it was a work of art in his mouth". It was so many flavor palettes but they meshed perfectly! Now let's talk about device, ASHLEY , ASHLEY WAS FANTASTIC! Her level of professionalism was top tier, she was attentive and so pleasant. 7/21/2026 First time visitor finally getting a chance to try the place out. The interior was absolutely beautiful sleek designs and greenery everywhere. Starting with the blueberry hibiscus and strawberry guava mojito both were pretty but the mojito won for sure. Breaking into our apps that included the she crab soup(really good), cheesesteak spring rolls(filling but the dipping sauce did not pair well with the egg rolls) and the firecracker shrimp (probably my favorite out of the 3). Entrees were as followed: crispy fish sandwich with a side Caesar nice presentation but not a lot of actual flavor going on, general TSO bowl grandma loved it, and the Cajun shrimp pasta no complaints. We also got the bead service which looked impressive indeed. Regan was very nice and gave input on dishes. As someone with celiac disease, eating out can honestly be stressful, but Burtons in Bel Air was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. I almost cried being able to order freely from an entirely gluten free menu and actually feel completely safe doing it. The staff had multiple verification steps to ensure everything was allergen safe, and our server Savanah was wonderful, knowledgeable, and clearly took gluten safety seriously. There was even a sticker on our leftovers marking it as allergen safe, which meant so much to me. And the food itself? Unreal. We tried the firecracker shrimp, calamari, cheesesteak egg rolls, fried fish sandwich, Cajun pasta, and Mac n Cheese every single thing was incredible. The fried food was especially impressive crispy, light, and not oily at all. Honestly, if they hadn't been so rigorous about safety, I would have never believed it was gluten free. First time customer, I ordered the Roasted Vegetable Bowl. From the first bite, it shot up to one of my top five favorite meals in a restaurant. This was absolutely delicious, perfectly made and nicely blended flavors. The restaurant is very accommodating to the patron's needs, they immediately asked if you need special menus, they ask if you would like substitutions when ordering. They sincerely want you to have a great dining experience. I like that they leave a carafe of water at the table. The decor is beautiful, music is classic, and our waiter, Noah, came to the table to check on us with the right balance where he was not interfering with our meal. Generally disappointing. The atmosphere was really nice and the folks were friendly but the food was really bad, especially for the price point. I had a lobster roll that was touted to be as good as a Maine lobster roll. Not even close, the lobster was very overcooked and the seasoning they put on it was gross and overpowering. My daughter got a short rib hash and it was bland with dry short rib and my wife's burger was just, meh. Latitude is just down the road and way better! Hopefully this place will improve. read more

Came for happy hour. Took awhile to get seated, but not busy at 4pm on a Tuesday. Took even longer for someone to realize we were sitting at the table. No problem. Inquired about happy hour and placed an order for two orange crushes. When the waitress returned and asked about placing food order, we asked to place two choices from the happy hour menu. She told us we could only order happy hour food options if seated in the bar area (we were placed in the dining room area, but it's open concept..?). Probably should have been disclosed that we could only order happy hour menu food if seated in the bar area when we showed interest in the happy hour menu. Also was not offered to be moved despite several open tables in the bar area. Checked out after two orange crushes that were good. Service stinks though. The kitchen doesn't listen to allergies nor really cares , management doesn't manage from what I've saw while there , the service was good and my server was very amazing but besides the service and hosts we saw when first coming in and being greeted and taken to our table this place won't last. Today I went out to eat at a restaurant. First time in probably 17 years. I have been too scared because i have both contamination OCD and Celiac disease. Well, today ended that! I went to Burton's. It was amazing. I felt so safe there! First thing they ask is if you have any allergies!!! They have a full Gluten Free menu! And they have a dedicated fryer and prep space for your gf food. Your gluten free meal gets different plates than non gluten free meals so you know yours is gf! It was just so reassuring . And the food was so good. While I found out I didn't like Avacaodo (it was on my veggie burger. I tried it at least lol), I found that I want to bathe in their lemon aïoli sauce. It was the best thing ever! Their fries were superb. And I got a key lime pie to go! (Ps. All their deserts are gluten free. So awesome!). Already tried it, and it's amazing! Can't wait until I have belly space to eat it up! Great concept with a lot of gluten free choices. But you can't substitute with the sides they have posted. The sides are à la cart. So if you pay $34.50 for steak and want to substitute their most expensive side with another side, you will have to pay an additional $10 for the à la cart menu item. Very frustrating. read more

After some time we returned to Burton's tonight. Unfortunately our experience was completely different. Beginning right from the lackluster greeting and bored interaction with the three women working the hostess station. We were greeted as if we were interrupting something. The person who seated us seemed irritated that we were there. Our server did a good job and was attentive and was quick to take our drink orders. My wife tried the pomegranite martini. The drink was weak and overly tart. My manhattan was okay but overly sweet. Our dinners, the general tso's bowl and thai steak salad were just okay. The bowl had an overwhelming amount of rice and the thai salad was very sweet rather than spicy. Our server did a good job throughout the meal and was the only real high point. As we left there was no acknowledgement by the hostess even though she was not helping any customers. When I am going to spend over $150 for drinks and two dinners I don't expect to be treated as if I am an inconvenience. We won't be returning. read more

This was our first visit. The restaurant is clean, stylish and well laid out. We sat at the bar, and if you are interested in tracking your alcohol intake EXACTL, this is the place for you! I ordered a double Mcallen Single Malt Scotch and received EXACTLY 2 ounces of Scotch (for a bargain $27.00). They started strong with the firecracker shrimp, but that is where they stumbled..... My wife ordered the Mediterranean Risotto with Chicken..which was essentially tasteless, I ordered a 14 oz. "28 day dry aged" ribeye steak. I assure you it was NOT dry aged nor was the beef even select, let alone Prime..at a bargain price of $55.00 .... The meat was a 1/2 inch thick, chewy, tasteless and most likely a Cisco Foods frozen steak. total check (after the $12 discount they offered for the terrible beef) was $160 including tip.... This unfortunately will be our last visit until they figure out if they are going to be a Chili's or a Upscale restaurant...at their price point, being a Denny's isn't going to make the grade.. read more
