Nice and cozy place with friendly and attentive staff. Similar layout to Waverly dinner but smaller. The make it your own omelets were very good made with peppers, sausage, cheese, and mushrooms. Potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I haven't had orange juice in a while and I had two. Definitely a nice place to have a bite to eat and conversation.

Bus stop is walk-in only and worth the wait! Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Service was fine. Definitely would recommend the brunch happy hour deal as it comes with an entree from the list provided and two drinks! Will come back for the food!

The food was great and the atmosphere is cozy. We enjoyed our breakfast. It was a little slower coming to us than we would have liked but the staff was nice. It's also a bit expensive done most items only come with coffee and a small glass of juice, no toast or potatoes, etc. but it is not too far off for being in New York City.

Extremely rude customer service! We ordered a mocha latte and got a macchiato instead! Waitress insisted she heard macchiato! A shot with foam instead of a latte! The carrot cake is the only reason for the twp stars! The table outside was broken and shaking the whole time.. Not worth the experience!

One of my favorite brunch spots... the interior is small, but there is something so charming and cozy about it. We like to sit outside on a nice day, and the hostess has always been so accommodating. The gluten free pancakes are a favorite!! And you can't go wrong with the omelettes, and have like 5 cups of coffee.

Love the space, the vibe feels incredibly local. Reasonable price, food was amazing. The servers were extremely nice and sensible too. 100% highly recommend. A waitress I asked confirmed Taylor Swift used to dine here.

"I thought I saw you at the bus stop, I didn't though"....maybe inspired by this place? Who knows...but my sister had to get breakfast here during our Taylor Swift NY weekend. This location is absolutely so cute, there are two parks right across the street so we opted to sit outside and enjoy the view. We sat in the covered patio area and it was the move. The servers were so friendly and sat us quickly. For food my sister ordered off the specials menu that comes with coffee and juice and I ordered the jalapeno avocado omelette (which came with potatoes and toast). We both had iced coffee that came out quickly. Very good coffee and they bring out milk which is so clutch cause it's way better than those little creamers. The food came out at a reasonable speed. Portion sizes were large. My eggs were perfectly cheesey and pillowy. I seriously loved this omelette. Crispy little potatoes with onions were the perfect side. Sometimes good diner type breakfast food is what you need. If I lived around here, I would come often because the prices weren't that bad either. Loved this place and would definitely be back if I lived in New York!

I associate Bus Stop Cafe with a lot of nostalgia as it was one of the first places I ate when I officially moved to NYC. BSC is a cozy neighborhood spot that serves up warm food and good vibes. I and my friend had originally gone to West Village to eat at another eatery, but all the outdoor seating was occupied (this was at a time we couldn't dine in). So we wandered in the opposite direction and came to this cute little diner with lovely plant decor. Sold. We started off with sangria which was super good, and I had the linguini with chorizo (looks like it's not on the menu anymore). It was the best comfort food ever, and it tasted fresh. Service was great and I felt like no one rushing us to leave, so we could savor every bite and every sip. It's a lovely, affordable, no frills cafe. I loved my time there and can't wait to visit again.

A cute little place in West Village serves good food and has good service. It was super busy when we were there, but the wait was short and they brought out the food very fast. We had coffee refills a couple of times. For a busy place, the service was decent. I enjoyed my omelet and my friend enjoyed his waffles. The burger I heard was outstanding. The mimosas were delicious and I liked the presentation. If you live in the area or visiting happens to be in the area it's nice to hang out there.

It featured a crispy, sugar-glazed exterior and a soft, chewy interior, topped with truffle cheese and served with a truffle butter dip; the pairing was superb, and it tasted great both on its own and with the dip. For the main course, I ordered the miso-glazed black cod. The flavor was flawless, and while the portion was small (which was acceptable), the pool of broth accompanying it was completely unnecessary; it was inedibly salty, so what was the point of serving it? After finishing the fish, I was left with a plate full of broth, rendering the plate unusable. Plus, it was overpriced; for this dish, you're better off going to Strip House Strip House remains the undisputed king of this dish in New York. A friend ordered the chicken parmesan. It was just average. Another friend ordered the short rib stroganoff. The flavor was decent, but it was far too rich and heavy. As someone whose palate is split 50/50 between Western and Chinese cuisine, I could manage only five bites at most. If you have a palate that prefers 100% Chinese food, proceed with caution on this dish. Friends ordered sides of mac & cheese and mashed potatoes. These are dishes originally meant for low-income Americans to fill up on cheaply; there's no limit to how good they can be, but also no floor to how bad they can get. Both were on par with the average quality found in upscale restaurants. Honestly, these are two dishes I would never order myself. To sum up: the atmosphere was great. It's also hard to get a reservation; the place was packed when we had lunch at 2 PM. Aside from that monkey bread, I didn't feel like anything else justified the price or offered something you couldn't find elsewhere. I don't quite get the hype. Perhaps I just didn't order the right dishes; maybe next time I'll try the burger and the steak.

The Thick Cut Bacon (8.5/10) was sweet, crunchy, and cooked perfectly. The Wagyu Cheeseburger (7.5/10) tasted good, but the bun was too dry, dense, and oversized for the burger. The King Crab Rangoon (8/10) was packed with crab, almost too much for my taste, but the sweet chili and hot mustard sauces balanced it out nicely. The Espresso Martini (6/10) was a pretty standard espresso martini. The Long Island Cold Brew (3/10) tasted like cold brew mixed with vodka, which just wasn't for me. Service was fine overall (7/10). The highlight was the complimentary sorbet they brought out for my friend's birthday. The vibes were classic Hogsalt with dim lighting, old-school jazz, and a cozy atmosphere (7/10).
