The Bang Bang Shrimp was decent enough though soggy from the trip. Nonetheless, with the various dips (ranch, Russian and house) it was filling albeit a little breading forward. Service was a little slow, though packing was well done. I enjoyed this meal. I would order again, especially for the Shepherds Pie. Recommended.

For being so close to Times Square, it does not pander to tourists at all. It was all dim lighting and haphazard decor, but pretty roomy, with pool tables in the back. Didn't feel too different from some bars we frequent in Long Beach, actually. The patrons on the night of our visit looked local, and the drinks were cheap--no fancy cocktails here. The only bummer was that their sound system kept cutting out, so the music (of the hard rock variety) was spotty. We felt at home, and were glad we stopped in.

If you're from Detroit, then you're not going to like this Reuben. It's cut thin and the meat is a little dry and hard. But, it has flavor. And was spruced up when I added the hot mustard and slaw to the sandwich. If you don't like slaw and hot mustard and just want a Reuben how it comes, this isn't the place for you. The fries were pretty good and crunchy. Highly recommend if you're in the area and need a good bar!
