They spent 10 mins on site, took a "full" load (it wasn't more than a yard of junk) and left. Barely made a dent. They claimed it was 2,000lbs, but that's just not possible. The before and after pictures show they didn't touch much. I spent 2 hours by myself the next day and cleared the whole pile, and when all was said and done, the dump scales said it was about 4,000lbs... and measured 10 yards... Rip off? You bet. read more

I used Busby to haul away a mattress. I called on Thurs and they were able to come at the time I requested, 3pm on Sat. Two nice young men arrived at the appointed time. At my request, they came to my bedroom and carried out the old mattress. They also removed some old bedding that was in my garage. Since this was a small load, I was charged the minimum price, which was $107. I would use them again. Next time, I would batch up many items to be removed so that I would use all the space that my $107 bought. read more

I had this company come out to remove an old outdoor spa, after getting an estimate via Yelp. A team of two guys arrived a bit early on the appointment day and got to work on a somewhat messy job since spa still had some water in it. It was gone in about an hour & the team cleaned up about 99% of the debris, but didn't take some supporting beams inlaid in the ground because of muddy conditions. Up to that point, I would've given 4 stars, but when I followed up with Sean, the VP/co-owner I had been dealing with, he said they'd pick the 6 beams at no charge if I could get them curbside. Not perfect, but fair, so I did it and they just removed them. I think it speaks highly for their desire to do right by the customer & would definitely recommend. I've had the pleasure of dealing with Busby twice this week. I called Shawn (Sean?) on Monday to get help removing old furniture and junk from the house I was moving out of the next day. He gave me a time window that worked - and after I described the items I needed to be hauled, he gave me a very competitive estimate. On the day itself, both he and his technicians kept me up to date with a slight delay due to a previous customer. David and Jordan arrived on time according to their call, looked at the work and said it would take about 40 minutes - but they did it in about half the time. Super quick! After moving into my new house, the previous owners left a LOT of garbage and put me in the position of violating the HOA terms before I'd even set foot in the house.
