I came here after a visit to the Mill City museum. There is plenty of seating in front of the restaurant and the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries and everything was very fresh. The price was also reasonable under $10. The staff member was very friendly and helpful. When you walk inside, there's a drink case and packed sandwiches and salads to go. There are daily specials including chicken quesadillas and then there are standard menu items such as burgers and chicken tenders. For the price, you can't go wrong by stopping by here for a quick bite to eat. read more

Reasonably priced, good coffee, and great location! A friend and I stopped by to get some coffees after walking around the mill city farmers market (held inside the museum during winter) and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered iced coffees with oat milk and at $4.50 each it was a lot more adorable than some of the other nearby coffee shops. They didn't have iced coffee cups at the time, but it worked just as well in a hot coffee cup with ice! Super easy stop if you're walking around the area! read more

My friend used to run Bushel & Peck but has since moved out of state, so we have first hand knowledge that their food is freshly prepared and top quality. We still come by every now and then. Their burger isn't the biggest patty in town but is very tasty and the fries are excellent. It's just a simple cafe to grab a bite if you hanging out at the Guthrie or over at stone arch bridge or taking a tour at the museum. read more

I go here every once in a while. Ever since their rebranding a year or two ago, the food has gone downhill for me. The new recipes are very heavy and sweet. I don't want so much sugar in my burger, in my pickles, or in other savory foods. I have eaten here 3-4 times in the last few years and always end up feeling regret over the calories, taste, and how much I spent. The pot pie is mostly crust. After several attempts to eat something redeeming, I finally say, no more. They still get an extra star bc the staff are wonderful. It's not often I leave food on my plate, let alone nearly half a plate of food. I ordered one of the breakfast platters and while I was excited to try the kimchi breakfast, I was ultimately disappointed. The plate just seemed to have "too much" going on, with flavors that didn't seem to work well together. Further, the asparagus tasted as though it was either stored or cooked incorrectly. Based on my experience, I would've given this place a 1 or 2 star, but my partner really liked their meal, so I opted to give a 3 star. However, I personally wouldn't return. read more

I'm not a huge fan of the runny egg (7-minute egg) though, but was pleased with the amount of fresh greens accompanying this lunch entree. We found this place kind of on a whim. Stopped to eat before the mill tour and enjoyed it. Food was well prepared and the staff were polite and fun. I felt like we got our money's worth and would come back if we were back in the area. My son enjoyed his burger and my wife lover her fried egg sandwich. Great little burger! 1/4 pound of ground angus beef, american cheese, tomato, lettuce, pickles on potato roll. Pickles taste like they came fresh out of grandma's cupboard. A little sweet and a little spicy.! Go ahead and get that side of fries too! Delish whole potato cut served with a smoked chili ketchup. Outstanding! They have a chili mayo too. Good for fries and great on the burger! Definitely go here during your visit to St. Anthony Falls. read more

Located inside mill city museum, this place is a little trendy cafe in a small nook. We came on a Friday for lunch and there were several school groups there taking a lunch break during their tours. You line up to order your food at the cash register and then get a number and sit down. The food took about 15 minutes to arrive? Fairly quick but the menu is fairly basic as well. I got the salmon salad and my friend got the fried egg sandwich. Salmon was a bit dry and neither dish was very special. My friend and I both thought it was something we could easily make at home and possibly even make better. Prices are fair, about $8-15 per person depending on what you get. I don't feel like I need to go out of my way to come again unless I happen to be hungry while touring the mill city museum. Very cool concept of a restaurant but food wasn't anything special. read more

Wish they had stuck with their knitting. The food is not good enough for the price. The idea of it is nice but it is not well done. Chicken in Lettuce wrap was swimming in grease. Other dishes I've had have been mediocre (I work in neighborhood and we have limited options) I've not eaten anything here that made me want to come back for it again.
