Have used many times since opening. But today last Went into far lane empty and others full. Waited and they took orders from two cars arrived after me. I rolled down my window n honked to get attention and told them I had been there sooner. He went on ahead and took others order and all went back inside. Wait little more and went inside obviously young inexperienced manager looked slightly older than the teenagers working. Just held hands and said yes sorry. Did not offer comp just that sorry. Good service but chicken was almost to salty to eat. Tea and green beans were good. I am not a fan of the Mac n cheese. It had no flavor. I will try the tenders next time but the regular fried chicken needs help. Maybe third time is charm? read more

I've been coming to this Bush's for a couple years now and it's always delicious. I have to say though, Bobby made my night tonight. I was cutting it close to closing time and placed an order on the way there. Bobby made sure the order was ready and did so with a great attitude. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for the best fried chicken and gizzards around here to come here to receive fantastic service and good food. I've been a fan of Bush's Chicken for some time, but on my last visit, I got the livers for me and chicken for the kids and the wife. I never get sick and felt fine all day and had eaten nothing else all day but, in the middle of the night, I got sick very sick. I visited Cedar Park Regional E.R. where I tested positive for Campylobacter which prompted a call from the Health Department. This is a food born Gram-negative bacteria that is almost always associated with chicken. The kids and the wife were fine, thank God. I not only haven't returned to Bush's but until a recent visit to Nashville where I had "Hot Chicken" I hadn't been about to even look at fried chicken. read more

This is a great place. The chicken is not too greasy and the food is fast. So ummm yeah. What more should I say? It's clean too I guess.

Best customer service I've ever experienced at a fast food place -- and better than most full-service restaurants in town, too! Everyone who works here is always smiling, happy to see every customer that walks in. It's the employees who keep us coming back at least once a week. The prices are super-affordable, and the food is consistently good. The service is fast, and I've never seen a dirty table, even at the height of lunch rush. I have eaten at this location twice now and both times I was very disappointed.. They always have great service, but it's the food that's I'm focused on when I'm hangry.. Terrible food. Terrible customer service. Spent 47$ to only receive a meal deal that was luke warm. When I called and complained That the mashed potatoes tasted old and the food was cold I was told that wasn't possible!! What are you seriously calling me a liar?? I told the manager I wanted my money back he could have all the food back to be told NO he couldn't access my credit card for a refund. We Threw away the old nasty food. Great food at great prices. Make sure your fries are hot. Their tea is great too! If you do not like it super sweet, be sure to get 1/2 and 1/2. They have great happy hour specials on tea and certain food items. Also have a great family pack that is super cheap. Beats KFC for sure! read more

My kids swim at the new Waterloo Swim Center next door. I walk over to get the Tender Meal. The Tenders are great. I like the fried okra and coleslaw. This is probably the most amazing fast food place in town, the food is superb, the sweet tea is heavenly, and because they truly understand what it means to take care of the customer. Everyone is beyond nice, the management staff always make sure that you're well taken care of, they take an avid interest in how you're doing, and best of all they strive for perfection. The people that work here are the fastest and most attentive any where. There's always a warm greeting. I am a habitue' of this store and if they see me coming in they will have part of my order ready, Monster sweet tea, mmmm. The french fried sweet potatoes and stuffed jalapenos, mmmmmm. Tried it once since it was walking distance from Waterloo swimming. Big mistake. They had gizzards on the menu and I didn't know what it was. Well, neither did they. :-). Ordered the fried chicken, it was okay which got them the 1 star in this review. No napkins in the togo bag. But my biggest peeve - bad customer service. While the quality of food and service are both acceptable, I ordered a grilled chicken salad tonight and proceeded to chip my tooth in the process of eating it. There should be nothing in a salad that could have caused that, and I was completely unable to identify what it could have been as it was so small. Will not be returning. read more

I needed to feed 75+ people on less than a 1 day notice. I called this store and spoke to Adrina. She was FANTASTIC. Totally guided me through how much food I would need and gave me several different options that would fit my budget. I showed up at the time agreed on and they were ready for me. They brought everything out to my car and loaded it all in for me. Made sure nothing would be squished (i.e. the rolls) and made sure I had plenty of plates cups, utensils and seasonings for my event. The entire staff really took great care of us and the food was hot and fresh for my large group of hungry guys. Really, really appreciate it. Great job! We will definitly use this store in the future. Thank you for making this so easy for me , especially on such short notice! read more

We are big fans of Bush's Chicken and like to treat ourselves every so often. However, there have been a few times as of lately that our orders placed via the car hop were not correct and unfortunately, we do not realize it until we arrive home. For example, ordered mashed potatoes and received French fries instead. We plan to return to this location, but will keep a closer eye on the contents of our order. read more

Okay, this is fast food, so keep the 5-star rating in perspective. That being said, it's 5-Star for fast food. Why? I'm so tired of McDonald's and Chic-Fil-A. Don't get me wrong, I love those places and actually own stock in the Golden Arches, but if you have Elementary age kids in your household, you frequent those old standards way too much. This was a nice refreshing change -- especially at the Happy Hour menu prices. We needed something between activities to tide us over until dinner, and the chicken rolls -- at the ridiculously low price of $1.09 -- hit the spot. The roll part was yummy and fresh, and the chicken both tender and crispy, and, wait for it, hot -- as in freshly cooked (which was a nice surprise) and not sitting under a warmer variety. Maybe we just lucked out, maybe we were starving, who knows, but my six and eight tore it up and said, "You need to Yelp this." We also had the Happy Hour root beer float that the kiddos enjoyed. Did the drive thru and the young lady was nice. Drive thru set up is unusual, a mix of Sonic and Chick-Fil-A rush, but okay enough system. This will be our Friday between activities go-to for now. At the Happy Hour prices (goes to 5PM), this is a winner. read more

Usually I don't care for fast food chicken, but this establishment might have just changed my mind! As I walked into the restaurant I was greeted by multiple employees with big grins on their faces. The cashier directed me in the right way to help me place my order, she didn't try to over sell me which was a nice change of pace! We proceeded to eat and boy it was satisfying, tender chicken and some of the creamiest potatoes I have ever had. When we were done eating an employee proceeded to take our trash and throw it out for us, then as we said our good byes and departed we got a farewell from the employees as they invited us back. My family and myself would recommend this establishment to anyone, worth every penny. read more
