We have been in the drive through line for 25 min. Other bush's are much faster. This is crazy.

Went to Bush's at approximately 1:20pm on Thursday afternoon, there were 5 employees sitting around behind the counter. Only one employee, Hayden acknowledged us. He took the initiative to greet us, take our order, and pack it all up. He did all of this while everyone else sat around. Usual good crispy chicken, mashed potatoes & rolls. Sweet tea. Decent parking lot. I didn't go in, my husband did so I can't comment on appearance or cleanliness. But our food was good and hot! read more

For some reason, the only Bush's that won't give you buffalo sause. Super greedy and cheap . I even offered to pay extra, and the kid said that they would get written up if they gave me some without ordering the buffalo fry's. All the other ones in the surrounding area are cool. read more

Very disappointed. Went there at 530p to grab some tenders and okra. We waited a long time for cold "tenders" (small chicken pieces and fried breading) and okra that was no better than room temp. Disappointed, seemed like their food would have been much better after their remodel. I will update this review if I decide yo give it another chance. read more

So I order my food from the drive thru and then went home. I get home and open my box to see that my side of okra was just 6 pieces and my wife's fries was maybe 15 fries. Usually you get a lot more then that especially more then 6 okras. I call them to tell them about and they say I'm sorry and if you come back we can give you some more. It's raining like crazy so I'm like no they should have gave me more when they made the order. This is the second time I have been there and something was wrong so I won't be back. read more

Stopped by about 6:45 on a Saturday evening while heading to a family evening out. Wish I had stopped in Hewitt. No poppers, small buffalo fries, evidently they only have 1 size and when we got to our destination found the side of coleslaw we ordered was missing. My wife and family went in, so I am not sure how the staff treated them or how the inside looked. We will pass this Bush's up on our next trip through McGregor though. read more

I would give one star but the food was still good so it warrants and additional star. The staff here is less than accommodating and lacks courtesy and simple customer service skills. This is probably the only Bush's in Texas that we have never been to before today, and we will never be back. Order two tender dinners and after getting our food, asked for BBQ sauce. Upon handing me the BBQ sauce she said "$1.04." Confused, because again we have eaten at every single Bush's and order the exact same thing every single time and no one had ever asked me to pay for BBQ sauce when you order tenders, I asked if this was something new because I have never been charged before. She proceeded to tell me that I had received gravy (which the meal comes with!!) and could exchange it for BBQ sauce. So explain this to me, what's the difference in Ketchup and BBQ sauce?? Why can I have ketchup but not BBQ sauce that you pour out of a jug (similar to ketchup) and into a plastic cup. The icing on the cake is that RIGHT BEFORE I ASKED FOR BBQ SAUCE, one of the employees gave some guy free jalapeño poppers! Maybe if I was a man I could have gotten BBQ sauce like I do at every other Bush's in Texas vs being charged for it while I watched them give a man free jalapeño poppers. Oh, and the woman working proceeded to talk loudly about me to other customers (the ones they gave the free stuff to) and co-workers. Customer service at its finest. read more

The food and service has improved, with new management. One of the servers was on her phone the whole time we were there however...

We get Tuesday tenders at least once a month. The process is quick and the chicken is great.

Small portions, management has poor customer service. Being a long time fan of Bush's chicken I stoked in and ordered the 4 tenders meal that comes with a side and a drink. The employee that greeted us was friendly and the food was good quality but the side of okra was insanely small, especially compared to every other visit to the other locations in Waco. After politely pointing this out the employee went inside and came back out stating her manager wouldn't let her "give us extra okra". I didn't want extra, I wanted an adequate option which is Bush's standard. My extra side was actually placed inside the same box, which should not have been able to fit. Something that could have been an easy fix has insured my not returning to this location. read more

The service was really bad and the wait was long. I came around 8pm to get some food for my family and there was not much of a line so I didn't expect to wait that long. However the workers serviced 3 other cars that arrived after I did before finally taking my order. read more

I am not fond off there chicken at all. When you order you have to eat it all right then. If you have any left it taste nasty when you eat it later. A good chicken place is when you can go to the fridge and eat it without hearing it up. Can't do that with there's. The mashed potatoes are terrible. read more

The Bush's in Mcgregor is by far the best one. But, what does that truly mean? All Bush's offer fast, friendly service with the best chicken anywhere. The prices are reasonable too! read more
