This location has two entry doors and one of them has nothing posted on it. I went in and ordered my food and noticed after I was charged that there was a credit card fee. There is NOTHING posted at the register about this or I would have paid cash, because I had cash with me. On the door I didn't enter into the restaurant from, there is a tiny paper notice of a 3% credit card charge. This needs to be posted in more places, because I didn't know until AFTER I paid with a card. I also have to say that no one greeted me when I walked in until I had been waiting to order for a few minutes. This doesn't bother me as much as the credit card charge, because it was lunch time and they were busy, but it also took 15 minutes for one taco and fries, and I saw several cars go through the drive through that weren't there when I entered. I just hope they will improve this for other customers in the future.

But what's not to love? A double cheeseburger with fries for under $14 in this day and age is almost unheard of outside of In-N-Out. Honestly, Willie's is comparable to In-N-Out for me because In-N-Out is the standard when it comes to quick, quality, affordable food. Willie's brings those same qualities and always hits the spot after catching a movie at the Tower Theater. It's become a tradition at this point and feels like a true Sacramento staple. The Hammer 4 with fries is the move every time. The flavors are always perfect. I didn't get them this visit, but their chili cheese fries with mustard added on top are insanely good. The service is always quick, too. They've got a system that works. Take it or leave it. If you're looking for a classic Sacramento burger spot, Willie's is tough to beat.
