    Black bean burger and fries
    Neena V.

Gameday Grill was at my work earlier this week for a special event and I was so excited to try them out again! They catered the same event last year so I was happy to see that they were back this year. They offered black bean burgers, grilled chicken burgers, and regular cheeseburgers. Every order also came with a side of fries. They also offered 4 different ways you can order your burger. I got the black bean burger base with the classic style (tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles) and subbed cheddar cheese for the american. My burger was flavorful, delicious, and very filling. I was a little sad though about my fries because they were way too salty for my liking. The service was good and the staff were pretty nice. They were getting the orders out fairly quickly which was great because it was too cold to be standing outside. I will definitely try their food truck again if I see them around the area!

Gameday Grill served up burgers and fries at my work tonight for an event and I was very excited to check them out! They offered black bean burgers, grilled chicken and regular cheeseburgers plus fries. We ordered a regular plain Hamburger for my daughter and I ordered the Grilled Chicken with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the grilled chicken was actually 2 massive chicken thighs - I was expecting to see just a boring grilled chicken patty. The chicken thighs weren't dry and were seasoned well. Fries were good too! Service was a bit slower than I was anticipating especially because it was a bit cold out. Staff were mostly just straight to the point and not really all that friendly, but they were busy so it wasn't a big deal. Can't really comment on the ambience since it was a food truck, but I'd probably check them out again if I see them around town!

I've seen Gameday Food Truck pop up at a few local sports events, markets and nearby my work. I always get excited when their truck because they have a killer Black Bean Burger. It is a vegetarian option that is consistently great (crispy on the outside, flavorful, and just really satisfying every time). It's clear they know how to make a solid vegetarian option that doesn't feel like an afterthought. The fries are decent, nothing to rave about, but they get the job done. Overall, it's a reliable go-to when I see them parked nearby. Definitely worth grabbing if you spot them.

I tried the Western Burger and it was delicious. Fries were yummy too. I did wish the meat had a little more flavor but the onion ring was so crispy and perfect.

We stopped by Gameday Grill at a food truck event and picked up a bacon ranch chicken sandwich with fries. The staff was friendly and they gave us a buzzer to wait for it to be ready. It didn't take too long and everything came out hot and tasty! They also already had the sandwich cut in half which made it easier to eat and the portion size was really generous. We ended up having leftovers for later. I would definitely try more items from them next time we see them at an event.

We had an employee appreciation day at work today and we brought back Gameday Grill! This food truck burger joint on wheels is pretty darn good. I hade the Western Cheeseburger and Mushroom Swiss burger and they hit it out the park imo. The staff was also friendly with the rush of people too.

What's left of my loaded fries without peppers or onions. Soooo good!

Totally forgot to take a picture they looked so good! My work hosted this food truck and we've had other vendors, specific to fries, who didn't have fries this good! I got the loaded chicken fries, I'm always iffy about cheese sauce, but this is fire! even better, I was stuck on the phone after ordering ahead and they WAITED to put the cheese and sour cream on for me! I was worried about them being soggy, but not today! I sure appreciated the consideration since I was like 15 minutes later than the order pick up time. The ability to order online made it efficient and quick. What a great experience. Thank you, Gameday!

Loaded Tri-Tip Fries $18 (worth it!)

Gameday Grill was one of the yummy food trucks at this past Thursday's Natomas Street Eats @ Orchard Park. Be prepared for a slight wait but the food is absolutely worth it. If there is one thing you MUST order is the Tri Tip Loaded Fries!!! These fries are huge and they are truly loaded with juicy, chunky pieces of perfectly cooked tri-tip. The fries were crunchy in all the right places and @$18 while the fries are on the pricey side - they are delicious and worth it!

    Classic Burger with garlic fries

Great food! Ordered the classic burger it was delicious. It's a chargrilled burger with all the toppings.

Closing up for the day so all they had left was chicken. Got a bacon ranch chicken sandwich with a side of fries. The sandwich was very fresh and large in size. Fries were fried to a perfect crisp, only thing was they were a bit heavy handed on the salt. I will definitely be back to try out their burgers.

I was also able to grab some ketchup to enjoy those fries. My burger and fries was delivered and there were more fries than expected. I focused on those first because who like cold fries, right??? The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients. A standard burger build but done perfectly! Beer was cold, food was great and the ambiance is a perfect local bar. Great spot to go if you don't mind hunting for a parking space.

Amazing transformation. The inside is minimal with the diner decor, keeping the place open and uncluttered (although, there's a lady mannequin propped up near the window!). The smaller back patio is also nicely remodeled with their signature red double decker bus, which I hear is very close to being ready for occupation (as of 7/12/26). That will be fun to hang out and eat your burger and fries in there, especially if A/C is provided. The cute patio is also open to leashed dogs that are well behaved. I love that they offer combos with a shake or a fountain drink. You'll find burgers, shakes, fries, chili, and hot dogs. The menu is very reasonably priced too. I got a single Lucky burger combo with a large banana peanut butter chocolate shake (you can mix flavors), upgraded to chili cheese fries, and also ordered a separate fountain drink. The cashier was very friendly, patient, and helpful. Service 10/10. Given a buzzer and found a table inside. Food came up in about 5 minutes. Good burger but had way too many onions (easy fix though). I wouldn't mind a softer bun, but it was fine. The Lucky sauce is similar to thousand island dressing, and they had a few other sauces available that I still need to try. The fries were great! Battered, seasoned, and crispy. Shake was thick and not too sweet. They use real fruit, but not sure if they use real ice cream or soft serve. Either way, it was still delicious. Shake up your burger rotation and support a small, local biz!

Large parking lot with plenty of parking so you don't have to street park. I ordered a burger combo. No onions, no tomato. The bun was toasted, fresh and was pretty good. The meat was Okay, generic restaurant quality. Mine was under seasoned. Large diced onions was on it mixed in with the diced lettuce. So I took a big bite not knowing. Yuck. I decided to scrape them off and lifted the bun. Way too much sauce. The little lettuce that was on it had wilted. So, I had an underseasoned burger with onions I didn't order with sloppy sauce and wilty lettuce. Bummer. I tried the fries. Nice and hot but again not seasoned. They were battered which was great but no salt that I could detect. Prices seemed reasonable and the staff was friendly. Perhaps the kitchen was having an off day. Stars for a clean set up with a nice patio area. I will try again and maybe get a chicken sandwich next time.
