I haven't had Suzie's food for years since my first time there. I gotta say I've been missing out, their burgers are now 100% better and what their fries lack in grease, they make up for in taste. Nice job Suzie!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is decent, kind of feels like 1980's burger joint or maybe older. It looks like an automotive shop which I believe it may have been at one point in time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was great, nice, and friendly welcoming servers. Their burgers are decent, a little small, but cooked nicely medium. The taste was fresh, from the meat to the lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. I kind of wish it had onions. I normally eat my burgers with some ketchup and mustard, but having to try the burger the way it is should be the first bite. You can always add the condiments afterwards. The pickled fries were crispy and fresh. Overall it was good.

I got to try Suzie Burger through Door Dash. My first thought is that it took too long. I'm not sure if they were busy or not, but I know I had a dasher leave because they were waiting too long, so another dasher accepted the order. The food was good, but the prices were too steep. The best things were the onion rings and the French fries. I actually really like the skinny fries, but again I think the price was too high. The burger was just average and small compared to other places. I ate all of my food and still did not feel full.

Almost felt like a McDonald's meets a Disney "the incredibles" mash up. Despite that attempted blend of two great American creations, I was not impressed. I elected for a basic single cheeseburger with fries. On first look, nothing special or inspiring, but that's fine. The fries were crispier than I imagined, but lacked that salty, fatty flavor you would expect in a fast food fry and were a bit cool temperature wise. I found the burger to be lackluster. It was a small patty that was well done accompanied by basic condiments. The bun was fine. Otherwise, I don't see why I wouldn't go to the Golden Arches first. I don't have high expectations with service at these joints, but it could have been better, but I will not digress. It's probably just matter of my age and the high standard I have for the youths.

I have always driven by Suzie and never stopped by until now. And I was missing out. The burgers are big, cheesy and made with love. Seasoned to perfection. Bun toasted to the right amount. I got the deluxe bacon cheeseburger. It was mighty tasty. Staff is friendly and fast. Clean environment. Peaceful, old school burger joint feels. Everything on the menu is priced to not hurt the pockets. Will definitely be coming back soon

Love it! My first Yelp place for 2025, and it was a great pick! I came here for the first time with a colleague for lunch, and I'm so glad I did. You order your food and pay and then they'll call you to pick it up. Cool and friendly vibes from the staff. I ordered the fries and the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms, and let me tell you, my first bite was juicy! The cheesesteak was loaded with plenty of gooey cheese, tender steak, and the mushrooms complimented each bite. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. If you're on the hunt for a great cheesesteak in Sacramento, Suzie Burger won't disappoint.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A nice burger place with plenty of space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I wouldn't hesitate to bring a sports team here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The burgers are tasty. Our 4 yr old was able to eat about half of the kid burger but couldn't stop eating the fries. I had a double bacon cheeseburger. It's good but as greasy as it sounds. I got the onion rings. They were ok but I wasn't heart broken about not finishing them. Overall, the staff were very nice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The different posters on the wall of "Suzie" were entertaining to look at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is definitely a nice retro burger place that will feed you well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Burgers went downhill. Wasted my burger intake. They changed the buns. Burgers are smaller. Meat was pink and lame. Too bad I didn't take a picture to compare with my old one. Bummer.

I've passed by this spot on P Street so many times, always telling myself I'd give it a try--well, today was finally the day! I ordered the cheeseburger, thinking it would be their standout item, but after trying it, I have a feeling their Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are the real stars of the menu. The burger was decent, but next time, I'm definitely going for the Philly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has a solid vibe, and I'm glad I finally stopped in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I haven't been to Suzie Burger in a long time and I must say, the food quality has gone down a lot. My husband and I used to love their food too. We checked them out for dinner last night and being on a healthy kick, I ordered their house salad and my husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak that he used to love. Obviously since this is known for being a burger joint, the salad was mediocre at best (my fault), but my husband said the Philly was nowhere good as it used to be. I tried it and I agreed. I do love the inside that used to be a car shop garage though and all of the spacey Suzie decor. Lots of seating on both sides of the restaurant as well. The guy who took our order was friendly, but the service was very slow. They weren't very busy and there was only 1 party in front of us when we arrived, so I'm not really sure why it took 15-20 minutes for our food to come out. Maybe it's my fault for not ordering a burger, but if the Cheesesteak is any indication, I don't think I'll be back visiting anytime soon unfortunately,

Way over priced and they nickel and dime you for everything. I don't recommend if you want to pay restaurant prices for McDonald's food.

Can they do lettuce wraps instead of the bun?

I'm not sure if that would improve the quality of the food it's not as good as it used to be since it was bought by new owners. And having a car crashed through the front entrance a couple of days ago probably isn't helping any either LOL don't know…

Did y'all change the fries!? Used to be the best batter-y shoestrings, but now they're just regular. I sure hope this is a temporary switch...?…

They did and its sad. Its been a while now.

I was also able to grab some ketchup to enjoy those fries. My burger and fries was delivered and there were more fries than expected. I focused on those first because who like cold fries, right??? The fries were actually pretty good, an above average standard French fry with salt. The burger however was phenomenal. There was an amazing crust on the outside reminiscent of a backyard bbq. There was ample bacon, lettuce, cheese and sauce to make it a balanced bite. The bun was high end brioche style, they really went all out on quality of ingredients. A standard burger build but done perfectly! Beer was cold, food was great and the ambiance is a perfect local bar. Great spot to go if you don't mind hunting for a parking space.

Amazing transformation. The inside is minimal with the diner decor, keeping the place open and uncluttered (although, there's a lady mannequin propped up near the window!). The smaller back patio is also nicely remodeled with their signature red double decker bus, which I hear is very close to being ready for occupation (as of 7/12/26). That will be fun to hang out and eat your burger and fries in there, especially if A/C is provided. The cute patio is also open to leashed dogs that are well behaved. I love that they offer combos with a shake or a fountain drink. You'll find burgers, shakes, fries, chili, and hot dogs. The menu is very reasonably priced too. I got a single Lucky burger combo with a large banana peanut butter chocolate shake (you can mix flavors), upgraded to chili cheese fries, and also ordered a separate fountain drink. The cashier was very friendly, patient, and helpful. Service 10/10. Given a buzzer and found a table inside. Food came up in about 5 minutes. Good burger but had way too many onions (easy fix though). I wouldn't mind a softer bun, but it was fine. The Lucky sauce is similar to thousand island dressing, and they had a few other sauces available that I still need to try. The fries were great! Battered, seasoned, and crispy. Shake was thick and not too sweet. They use real fruit, but not sure if they use real ice cream or soft serve. Either way, it was still delicious.
