After the World Cup final this past Sunday a few friends and I stopped by this bar for some snacks and drinks. What a fun vibe! Everyone was super nice and helpful. My phone was about to die. It seemed like everyone's iPhones were getting overheated that day because it was so hot and the World Cup final was happening, and they kindly gave me a charge which I very much appreciated! One friend got some snacks as well. I forgot to get a photo of the food. I think one was fries and the other was ribs. Unfortunately, the ribs didn't taste great so we returned them and they took it off the bill. I'm glad to have discovered a new fun bar in Austin!

Busty's has secured its spot as one of my favorite bars in Austin. I was surprised given the bar is located on a corner by the freeway and the bar doesn't look like much from the outside. When I walked inside my mind was blown. It is absolutely gorgeous inside and the restroom felt like I stepped into a club. The brunch menu had something for everyone and was ridiculously inexpensive. The drinks were creative and delicious. I cannot wait to come back!

This was a pretty rad spot. Came here for the Lonestar round up event. Glad we did. The food and service was awesome. Also like the decor. Whatever the space dust is, thumbs up! We tried to get a bit of everything to get the experience and it didn't let us down. Definitely coming back.

I took a Monday trip to see a matinée, something out of the ordinary according to 3 Stacks, at AFS and was stunned to see that the drive back to Hutto would be well over an hour thanks to rush hour traffic. My co-worker that I attended the screening with suggested taking refuge at Busty's right across the highway. What goes on at Busty's? 8 ball, a working jukebox with CDs, huge tables, Die Spitz photo shoots, and plenty of Miller High Life to go around. Busty's feels straight out of the 70s with a little touch of modern flavor. They have a vibrant menu with tons of specialty drink options like their BUSTEES spiked ICEE clones, piña coladas, Blue Hawaiians, plenty of beers in bottles and cans and on draft, plus numerous High Life-based drinks. High Life is easily the best beer to ever exist, so a few different ways to get it is awesome. They sell frozen Spaghetts with frozen High Life, Aperol, and orange juice, which I tried and was stunned by the flavor. Cold drinks like that aren't normally for me, but it was good. It's just something you have to drink slowly. Their turbo time section of the menu offers two boilermakers of either a High Life pony or High Life draft with a shot of Jim Beam. They also have what they call a Monte Carlo, which is a pony with Montenegro. I know a boilermaker is about taking a shot with a beer, but as someone who lives on edge, I dumped my shot of Montenegro into my half drunk High Life pony and mixed the two like a Spaghett to excellent results. The rest of the night I proceeded to play a very terrible game of 8 ball and throw a dollar or two into the jukebox to listen to Sade and Willie Hutch. Their jukebox is filled with only 8/10 or better albums. If $1 can get me to play all of Herbie Hancock's Head Hunters, I'm all in. What a selection, worth checking out yourself. The only downside is you're paying Austin drink prices at Busty's, but other than that it's a great place to hang out, especially while trying to wait out the rush. Oh yeah, there's a Corvette in the roof too. RIYL: 70s bars with 21st century flair and a soulful soundscape

First time at Busty's since it became Busty's. What a fun atmosphere! We sat outside at a picnic table and it was a perfect day for it. Our server was friendly and offered suggestions. We tried several cocktails as well as the waffle fries. Highly recommend! We will be back and look forward to hanging with friends at this laid-back, 70s throwback!

First time visiting Bustys and I will be going back!!! What an eclectic place to hang with friends and have snacks and cocktails. We arrived and decided to sit outside in the shade. It was comfy and perfect day to enjoy sunlight. The menu is so amazing. They have taken chemistry to new heights with all the creative drink combos. They have ones with slurpee mixed in and all you can dream up. They also have full bar if you have a favorite drink. The staff were always coming by to check on us and we had an order of waffle fries we shared as a group. Great place and great casual atmosphere to hang out in.

Came to Busty's after dinner one night and was able to find a seat right away. Off the bat the decor is fun, creative and very retro. It gives upscale dive bar. We ordered two drinks each and was kind of surprised there are no prices on the menu lol we didn't know how much each cost until checkout. The service is good here and our drinks came very quickly. Really good cocktails! I enjoyed both of my drinks and will probably be back when I'm in the area.

This has easily become my favorite spot in Austin. The nostalgia, the VIBE, the wings, all IMMACULATE. If you want the most delicious wangz of your life, hit them up on either a T/Th but don't discount the rest of their menu. They were voted one of the best burgers in Austin this past year, and I'm happy to confirm, the burgers definitely SLAP. Parking is a bit chaotic and space can be tricky to claim but it's all part of the charm/fun. I want people to know about this place so it stays open but I dont want too many people to know about it because it has now taken top spot in my heart and I would be devastated if it becomes too cool for me to love. Enjoy the only spot that has miller high life on tap and make sure you check out the bathrooms and their accoutrements.

Came back for a beer and a light dinner. The burger was petty good. Small but justified for the price. It had some nice charred bits in there that made it even better. The ribs were just okay. Sauce was good but the meat tasted old. Kind of what you expect from a place that is not a BBQ place. Over all service is great. It's a seat yourself type of place and they will find you. The beer glasses are large and THICC. Just how I like my glassware.

Delish mescal cocktail. Sorry I had a big sip or two before the pic :)

Amazing retro bar. So much wood grain, old light up booze signs, juke box, and a cigarette machine. And a freakin' real red Corvette Stingray hanging upside down from the ceiling. Interesting cocktails, good beers on tap and reasonably priced and tasty food. Cool lounge area and patio/beer garden too. Dope spot.

Visited this place twice so far. The first time was overall 5 stars: the drinks were great and the bartender was really nice. The restaurant is very well decorated and has a nostalgic vibe to the era I've never experienced. The second visit was more of 4 stars: the reason -- ribs. They kind of tasted old. The burger was okay too, but tiny (the price is justified though). Our served was lovely and very attentive though!

Right off Cameron/290, this retro bar with tasty inexpensive burgers and onions rings. I usually have espresso martinis but need to try something different on the cocktail menu. It's a solid place to stop with friends/coworkers after work.

This place is awesome, the staff, the owner, the food! Overall we had a wonderful experience. We got the turkey club, mushroom melt, the dip and the pancakes. The food was so good, everything was fresh and wonderful. The bartenders and owner were delightful.

It is definitely a classic Austin location that I hope will be around forever! I don't drink beer but they had some great drink specials for those who do. One of my friends was able to get a non-alcoholic beer, the other had a beer, and I had a couple of topo chicos. I think you can also order food there, but we didn't order anything. They also have decent parking options if not in their lot, on the street so we didn't have to walk too far. And I appreciated that Jane was playing at an earlier time. Her band's songs were oldies but goodies and they got several people out on the dance floor! I hope to find myself at Carousel Lounge again soon!

Shouldn't be overlooked! Not sure anything has changed in 50 years! One man was bartender, cook, bubbles blower, popcorn maker, and friendly welcomer to all who entered or wanted to chat. Very spacious inside. Drink prices are of a bygone era- they only sell beer and wine for alcohol options. Sound equipment was good I'm told. A classic spot.

There are a lot of tables and there was a big screen up to watch basketball when I visited! I haven't sat inside, but it looks nice as well and much quieter / at least when I visited. Service: 4/5 Had no issues, just ordered at the counter and voi la! Friendly person took our order & the only complaint is there were no cups outside for water - think it's just busy and this happens! Food & Beer 4/5: I had the magic carpet sour and it was very good, although I will say it isn't as sour as a typical sour would be. Nice drink overall and I think someone who isn't a sour fan may still enjoy it - it gives more cider honestly. My friend and I split the veggie quesadillas and the chips and salsa. The veggie quesadilla was good, the mushrooms they put in it were fab - I wouldn't say it's exceptional for the price but it was good. The chips and salsa were also good, but the salsa was a much thicker green and cilantro based something - I wouldn't exactly call it salsa, but it was good, just a bit misleading. I think they should add a descriptor on the menu, salsa usually means red unless otherwise noted imop.

I ordered a bacon egg cheese bfast taco, chorizo egg cheese bfast taco and a coffee. Each taco was around $6-$7 which is kind of insane that tacos have gotten that expensive. They were just alright and only flour tortillas. Coffee was given in a nice mug. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Spent around $15 for two breakfast tacos and a coffee. Bfast tacos were alright and I think ill stick to the beers next time.
