When I travel I like finding local non-chain type restaurants. The place I was working had a menu from here that caught my attention so I decided I would try them for dinner when I can have a beer. I walked in and felt a dive bar vibe. I took my seat at the end of the bar. The waitress was super nice making several food recommendations. I really wish I tried the blackened Salmon she suggested but my brain kept going back to the Cheesesteak. That's what I went with. It was really very good. I bet a lot of their food is delicious based off that cheesesteak. The only thing I wish is they had more beer selections on tap. I am a self admitted beer snob so take that for what it is worth. read more

Wings are delicious. The owners are personable and kind. The ambiance is chill. I'd recommend going on karaoke night! So much fun!

Bartender didnt greet when I walked in. Dindnt look me in the eye, waited 2 full minutes while they were chit chatting with the local bar flies. Walked back and fourth trying to makd a rum and coke used bacardi instead of rail and used about a full oz more than nessisarry. Obviously untrained staff. On the the place itself, hip hop oriented. A poor choice for Aberdeen MD. The place smells of stale grease and is incredibly loud for less than 40 people on a Friday. The glasware wasnt clean. The bar visibly sticky. read more

They too often change the staff. The food is great when it is great but inconsistent. The same for the drinks. I try to inform management but they are actually offended when u make a complaint use to be a regular there had to stop going when I told managers that they changed the fish and that I was NOT eating catfish he told me I was eating the same fish that I had been eating there for months. 4 stars... and that's for the band. I recently came here for a friend's birthday. We were told we were paying for an experience to include admission, food and mimosa drink. The menu was geared towards an evening brunch theme. I was excited, as it was outside of my normal dining area. My excitement ended there. Let's start with the mimosas. They were supposed to have grand marnier in them, they did not. If they did, it was muddled under juice. Additionally, where were the bubbles? :( For my meal, I ordered the steak and eggs. Steak medium with eggs over medium. I received Steak med well with scrambled eggs and cheese. I informed my server that I did not order scrambled. I won't mention how long I waited but, the band eased that. I asked if the eggs could be done over. More waiting... Food finally... This time well-er done steak, fresh scrambled eggs. :( It's at this point, I don't want anything. I informed my server and was told, I wouldn't be charged. My final bill? 60. You asked what I paid for? Seemingly 3 mimosas, a cigar I didn't know was included in the experience and gratuities. Never again. read more

My daughter and i went for Karaoke night. BIG mistake. We started with ordering pretzels sticks with beee cheese. The so called beer cheese was spicy nacho cheese. And the pretzels were hard and over done. The loaded chili fries were delivered to us without silverware. By the time we got them the fries were cold and unedible. The karaoke was a flop - and in the almost hour we were there only one singer. It was more a DJ. THE BAR WAS SO loud that in order to carry a conversation my daughter and i had to text each other. Our waitress was not very good and instead of ordering dinner we paid our tab -- good thing they included gratuity of 15% because trust me the service wasnt that great. Lastly I watched their security bouncer let someone in on an image of their id on their phone. A photo on a phone to admit someone to the bar. Never again. read more

My husband and I came in to eat with our daughter we we're starving when we got there it took about 3 mins for someone to come over to us once they were done talking to each other. Once someone did come over they were very nice we were asked what drinks we'd like then they were made one by one in the mean time we were greeted by someone else and then another min later another person asked what we'd like. We weren't sure who at that point was our waiter/waitress almost seemed as if they all were on their first day at work and were all lost walking around. Not sure of what to do or where they should be Once we placed our appetizer and our order the appetizer came out and my husbands meal the steak tacos both together. About 5 minutes later my daughters food arrived and then 5 Mins after that mine came. My husband ended up not even being able to eat his steak tacos he said was the worst taco he had ever had at a place especially for the price and it was fake advertising since they made it with steak em meat that was very noticeable also with no seasoning and was half full mostly lettuce and tomatoes. My wings came out so sad looking dry and so over done I ate one and couldn't eat anymore also the ranch that came with it even though they asked twice what I wanted and said blue cheese. The ranch had a slight green color to it and smelled and tasted sour. My daughters burger sliders were so dry they were falling apart next to her soggy fry's The place had maybe once person inside when we got there and maybe 4 people when we thankfully left so the timing of how long things took to come out when they finally did and the fact we never got a refill not once and the soda that my husband got was completely flat no bubbles tasted like it was days old. Everyone who we did talk to that worked there were very nice people I just wish this place had a strong business manager with a lot of experience and could turn it around they have a great location and the place besides the moldy smell and it being sticky everywhere could have very good potential. Unfortunately we will not be coming back and would highly recommend everyone else not to waste their money or time at this place At least they make you pay a 15% gratitude that is added because they wouldn't ever make money other wise read more

I would have given 2 stars to our waitress for being totally honest about this place, but she gave her honest opinion about the food and what NOT to order AFTER I placed my order. On the outside, this place looks very appealing, but once you pass through front doors, it all goes downhill quickly. From the tripping hazzard as you try to get in a booth, the mismatched tables, the broken table and chair legs, tabletops and seats that are coated in a sticky substance which are obviously not properly cleaned by the staff and the filthy floor with trash scattered about, this place is a disgrace. With only 6 people in this place when we arrived, there is NO EXCUSE for it to take almost 30 minutes to make a cheesburger and 3 tacos. The burger was flavorless, cooked beyond being well done and the bun was toasted too long. The tacos were embarrassing. 3 flour shells filled with almost all shredded lettuce, a few diced tomato pieces, maybe a half teaspoon of cheese and a hefty helping of burnt strips of gristle on each one. Both orders of fries were not seasoned and undercooked. Ended up sending the entire taco order back and was not charged the $13 thankfully. The "cook" finally came out and gives us a story that he is actually the bar manager that was forced to work the grill. He then proceeded to say he worked as a chef for the Ironbirds before the Covid but hasn't cooked over the past 2 years losing the techniques of a good cook. My question is this, why would the owner of this place put someone on the grill who obviously has no clue how to cook? There must have been 4-5 orders sent back to the kitchen during our 45 mistake of going here. Owner would rather lose money on food being sent back and thrown away due to tasting bad than hire someone who knows how to use salt and pepper and cook a proper meal. This place is obviously nothing more than a glorified hole in the wall bar that serves terrible bar food. I highly recommend staying away from this place if you have a weak stomach and no updated tetanus shot. read more

The Bartender and staff were friendly and personable. My friend and I both had shrimp appetizers and they were excellent. I ordered the steamed and they were cooked perfectly! The wings I ordered were huge and could have fed multiple people. Lacking a little heat but worth the money. The bar is a monster and has plenty of TVs for sports. 1 thing I will never ever do in my adult and sane life, is visit this establishment for nothing more than the restroom. Came here for a birthday event and it was the most unbirthday thing I've ever experienced. So put aside that the birthday girl didn't give us full information on what really was going to happen while here. So we get there and they can't tell us at the door where our "section" was. So finally get seated and there's a huge draft at our table bc we are near the smoke tent and the front door. Oh and we are lined up near the wall where they come in and out with food. So we were told bottomless mimosas and we were given a menu with 3 "brunch" items and a specialty mimosa. We weren't given mimosa glasses until after we had to drink down the ice water in the other glasses to prevent our mimosas getting warm. Then someone runs over like hey we got glasses for the mimosas oh ok smh. Then asks if we got questions on the menu. Well it's only 3 options then proceeded to tell us there's another menu. The hostess couldn't fully explain how this works and proceeded to say well at restaurants this is how you order things for birthday brunch. Ma'am, this is not our 1st brunch and 2nd this is not how they do it at restaurants! I ordered the shrimp alfredo asked if they could make it Cajun they said fine. The food tasted like the chef poured POWERED parm all over the pasta. It had created a film on top from sitting but if you stirred it up, boom there's the heat smh. I didn't want to complain bc the rest of the table was complaining bc they BUTCHERED the steaks and for some reason could not make over easy eggs, they pushed out all scrambled eggs. Sent it back and ordered the crabcake and grits and before I could sip my water here comes that crabcake. I'm thinking well that was fast! The crab cake smelled fishy. You would have thought either the crab meat was bad or it was mixed with tuna fish. The grits were wet and not in a good way. Needless to say I wrapped it up to go and threw it out at home. My friend ordered an omelet that took 25 mins for him to get and I swear it looked like it was made with 6 eggs and it was packed full of RAW YELLOW ONIONS. The mixed drinks were not good at all. We were charged for hookah which we couldn't indulge in bc we sat and waited for food our entire night. This was a "night brunch" with a live band. They claimed it was two chefs one per menu. The chef came out and presented the birthday girl with a FROZEN dessert. This was the 2nd FROZEN dessert they gave us that night. They gave us mushy lamb chops I guess as an added birthday gesture. The mimosas were pure orange juice and we had to add our Hennessey that we were given to enjoy them. It was a bad experience and I do fault the birthday girl for the lack of info but the rest of the blame for my terrible experience goes to this establishment. My husband and I went here while we were visiting a friend in the area. I think it's important to set expectations for this place. It is a bar joint so the drinks and food aren't going to be something to write home about. We had appetizers that were yummy! The reason for my 4 stars is purely for our waiter. He was an absolute delight! One of those that is a relatable friend right away. We frequent here with how close it is to the train station. Definitely worth another visit! read more

Came here for a beer and some wings and it was a great time. Our server "summer" tolerated us well, had some laughs, and was on it. The hot wings are super good and apparently the flat bread isn't. Well it sucks to suck and this place did exactly that. After waiting nearly and hour for a simple pizza that we never received, we pulled the plug on our crappy experience, paid for our drinks and rolled. The place was practically empty so the kitchen staff definitely were not overwhelmed. I'm guessing this place was empty for a reason beyond a recession and inflation... Additionally, draft beer was down, restroom was dirty and missing a fixture on a faucet, TVs were mounted in a weird angle that you wouldn't want to watch a game on. Bartender was decent. Just some things out of his control. Recommend that he starts looking for a better place to work, because I'm not going to hold my breath for this heap to stay open. read more

The one star is for the *excellent* waitress (I give HER 5 stars, but everything else brought the review down....). The four missing stars? It's for the absolutely horrible catfish (the smell was even rank!), the fries cooked in ancient grease, the broken and greasy nachos and the nasty stuff they put on top of the corn bread. If that was suppose to be honey, change brands and maybe don't marinate the bread in it? I will say the wait staff is *great*, the place is clean for a local 'dive' bar/grill (dive isn't a bad thing in my book; sometimes they serve the best food!) and the small piece of rib I stole from someone else's plate at my table was actually pretty dang good (if I had only had THAT this might be 5!). Great Happy Hour (HH)! If I was a local, this would be a "go to" to relax. Caught it for quick, cheap, and good eats before heading home from a business trip! Good selection, parking, prices, food, drinks, service, so give it a try at HH! V and the other staff were a pleasure. Crowded and everyone seemed to be happy.
