They have different items on the buffet depending on what day you go. Everything was super fresh and delicious

If you are in Sinton looking for a great meal look no further than the Butter Curn. Great home cooked food made fresh. Make sure you ask for Janie see is the best. Sweet, friendly and I bet you can get to the bottom a glass with her at your table.

Good comfort food for when cooking is not an option. Buffet areas are separated into 4 sections (salad, entrees and sides, entrees and sides, desserts and breads). Gloves and masks were required to go to the buffet line (gloves were provided). All the foods were the appropriate temperatures. Some of the fried options were a little overcooked, specifically the shrimp. Many of the sides tasted homemade rather than already prepared, specifically mashed potatoes. We didn't eat any dessert but they had a couple of different cobblers. Service was very accommodating and took care of any needs we had, before we had them. Prices were as expected ($15 pp).

    Good ole country cookin!

Butter Churn If…read moreyou're anywhere near Aransas Pass and you haven't eaten at Butter Churn, you're flat-out missing out. From the moment you walk in, you can feel it -- this isn't some corporate chain going through the motions. This place is dialed in. It is probably one of the most put-together restaurants I've ever had the privilege of visiting. Every detail feels intentional. Clean lines, modern touches, spotless floors, organized buffet, upbeat energy -- they hit every mark. The décor has personality without being overdone. It feels like a true family restaurant -- warm, authentic, and welcoming -- but with a level of polish most places never achieve. The service? Exceptional. Real smiles. Real hospitality. You're not just another table. You feel seen and taken care of. Now let's talk about the brisket. Unbelievable. I had to ask how they were doing it, and Mark was more than happy to walk me through his process. When brisket is smoked low and slow -- and they smoke theirs for 20 hours -- here's what happens: * The visible fat cap mostly renders down. * The intramuscular fat melts. * Collagen breaks down into gelatin. * The melted fat soaks deep into the meat fibers. So by the time it hits your plate? You don't see fat. You taste rendered fat and gelatin inside the meat. For $14 all-you-can-eat lunch, I kept waiting for the catch. There isn't one. I probably ate close to a pound and a half of brisket myself and still wanted more. Tender, perfectly seasoned, smoky without being overpowering -- the kind of brisket that makes you stop mid-bite and just nod your head because you know you found something special. You walk out wondering how they're not charging double. Everything about this place reflects pride -- pride in the food, pride in the service, pride in the entire experience. It's consistent. It's clean. It's efficient. And that kind of consistency is rare. This is only my second five-star rating ever. That's how serious I am about it. I apologize for not getting a picture of the brisket, I got too carried away with eating it. I live in Corpus Christi, and honestly, that's probably a good thing. If I lived any closer, I'd be there every single day. If you want authentic, high-quality food served by people who genuinely care about what they're doing -- Butter Churn is it. Five stars. No hesitation.

Excellent selection of hot food on the Buffet, perfect for going in a group. Everybody can have…read morewhat they want, & if someone wants more than one plate, it's all good. The extensive Salad Bar is outstanding, & it's extra nice to have cooler meal options after a day on the Beach, in hot weather. Delicous desserts round out this dining experience.
