Usually the front desk is incredibly accommodating and welcoming today I was told they didn't have time for a manicure and pedicure as they did not have enough manicurist for the manicure - I agreed to just a pedicure. Only to go online and see they have openings later today for manicures (simple fix that could've been offered at check in). Furthermore we get to the painting part of my pedicure and my technician expresses she doesn't know how to do French tip, the front desks asks if I can do a solid color. I'm sorry but no that's something that should've been expressed before sitting me down and then want to charge me $20 when online it says $15 and has been 15 the whole time I've ever gotten it done here. They do a clean job my manicure and pedicures always come out trimmed great however customer service seems to be hit or miss

I specifically explained that I had gone to another salon before, but was unhappy with the results because the French tips were made too thick. I clearly stated that I wanted a thinner, more refined French tip. During my appointment, the nail technician called over three different employees to look at my nails. One of them looked at my nails, gave me a dirty look, and began speaking in Vietnamese. Although I do not speak Vietnamese, her tone and reaction were clearly unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. It sounded as though she was questioning why I was there, despite my explaining exactly what I wanted. When I asked if there was a problem, I was simply told that they were not confident they could achieve the look I wanted and therefore could not help me. I was shocked by the lack of professionalism and customer service. Had they communicated this during our text consultation, I would not have wasted my time driving to the salon and coming in for the appointment. I completely understand if a salon is unable to perform a specific service, but the way the situation was handled was disappointing and unprofessional. Customers should be treated with respect, regardless of whether the salon decides to take on the service requested. Will not be coming back.

Jenny did an amazing job on my nails! I absolutely love how they turned out - the quality of her work speaks for itself. It's been a few weeks since my appointment and I still can't stop staring at them. The fact that they still look this good after three weeks is a testament to Jenny's skill. I also loved the chill vibe at the salon, and the iPad was a nice touch that made the experience even more relaxing. One small note for future clients: while you can see the starting price on the Vagaro site, I was a bit shocked at the final price at checkout. If you're thinking about adding embellishments or extras, definitely ask about pricing upfront so there are no surprises. That said, the quality of Jenny's work was worth every penny. And when sunny is not available, there's the expert Elisha and she's a PRO in everything. She literally does everything - I don't know how she does it, from nails to eyelash extension and to Pilates and flying yoga (and I think she bakes bread for dieting as well). I initially chose this salon because of the peaceful atmosphere and because the more popular LA nail salons' hectic environments stress me out, but it looks like I'm back on the hunt for a new nail salon again. It's a shame because the staff are very kind, and respectful. If you are the owner and you are reading this, please use stronger glues and adhere your gel extensions better, otherwise you will keep losing business from those that want to support you.
