The best nail technician in LA. Shia is so meticulous, thorough and quick. I'm very picky so when I don't like something, I will ask my nails be redone. She is punctual and expects punctuality from clients. I have never waited for my service after making an appointment. She respects people's time unlike other places. She uses top polishes from Korea and Japan only (none of the cheap OPI, DND, etc.) These polishes tend to last longer in my opinion. I'm in the medical industry where I'm required to wash my hands very often and it's very rare my nails chip or peel. Even though Shia doesn't recommend I keep my polish for too long, since it doesn't chip or discolor, I keep my nails anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. Her shop is very clean as well. She sterilizes everything which I find to be so important. (I've had a case many years ago where before I discovered Shia, I went to a salon and got nail fungus.) You have to be prepared on the designs you want. Bring a few and ask for her recommendations on your skin color, trend, your profession to determine what would be best for you. If you have a limit on what you want to spend, tell her. She will accommodate to your needs. read more
